Hi dear readers and fellow writers,
It gives me so much joy to finally (re)introduce my book Adejoke. Some of you might remember it from Wattpad years ago, but I had to take it down. This time, though, I promise you—it's here to stay. ✨
This story is very close to my heart because I wrote it about five years ago, when I was still new to writing. In fact, it's one of my very first completed manuscripts. I haven't completely rewritten it, but I've gone back to polish and refine it, giving it a little shine while still keeping the rawness of the younger me who first put it on paper.
I need to say this clearly: this book belongs to me. Please don't copy it, repost it, or try to claim it. Writing isn't easy—it takes long nights, endless imagination, and the courage to pour your heart into a plot and its twists. My younger self worked too hard on this story to see it stolen, and honestly, she'd be heartbroken. So, let's respect that creative effort.
That being said, if the names, places, or characters feel familiar to you, know that it's purely coincidental. I don't steal people's work, and I hope no one steals mine. Let's keep our literary world fair and supportive.
A quick note: I don't own the pictures you'll see in this book. They've been gathered from Instagram, Facebook, or Google, and serve only to illustrate the mood of the story.
Alright, enough talking. Thank you, truly, for giving your time and heart to read Adejoke. Your support means the world. 💜
Now, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen…
I present to you Chapter One of "Homewrecker's Vow."
Drumroll please… 📯📣🎷
