Screen 1 — Entering Wano
As Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates head toward Wano Country, they encounter a giant octopus and several enormous fish. True to his playful nature, Luffy jumps onto one of the fish and starts riding it.
Sans immediately shouts,
"Luffy, don't! That's a bad idea!"
Chopper panics as the fish charges forward.
Soon, the crew reaches Wano's massive waterfall. Using the giant fish, they manage to climb upward—but suddenly, a powerful whirlpool forms at the top. The ship is dragged in, and the crew is scattered in all directions.
Sans fires a Gaster Blaster to try to stabilize the situation and save Luffy.
Despite this, Luffy is thrown overboard. Unable to swim because of his Devil Fruit, he is swept away by the current. Sans' blaster is knocked aside, and both Sans and Luffy are carried off separately.
Luffy eventually washes ashore alone in Wano Country, unconscious, while the rest of the crew is scattered elsewhere.
Screen 2 — Meeting Otama
Luffy and Sans wash ashore in Wano, exhausted and soaked. Strange giant beasts roam nearby, watching from the trees.
A small girl suddenly appears and scares the beasts away. It's Otama.
Otama freezes when she sees Sans.
"A… a skeleton?!"
Sans raises a hand calmly.
"hey. don't worry. i'm friendly. mostly."
She blinks, then relaxes.
"You're weird… but you don't feel bad."
Otama helps them hide, later revealing her power to pull food from her cheek. Sans watches closely, impressed and thoughtful, already sensing Wano is unlike anywhere else.
Screen 2 — Inside Wano
Meanwhile, Zoro, Franky, Usopp, and Robin are already inside Wano Country, living under disguises, just like in canon.
Zoro works quietly as a ronin.
Franky hides his cyborg body while gathering information.
Usopp keeps a low profile, posing as a local craftsman.
Robin blends in calmly, observing everything from the shadows.
Papyrus takes a different role.
He poses as a shrine guard and village watchman.
He wears simple armor and a wide straw hat to hide his skull.
The locals believe he's a very tall masked warrior from the mountains.
He's loud and dramatic, but seen as honorable, not suspicious.
At night, he protects villagers from bandits and troublemakers.
Children admire him, and elders trust him.
Quiet rumors spread through the village:
"That shrine guard… he feels like a protector."
Papyrus stands proudly at the gate, completely serious about his duty.
Screen 4 — Otama's Kindness
Otama explains the truth about Wano — poisoned rivers, stolen food, and people starving under Kaido's rule.
Luffy and Sans wash ashore, exhausted and starving.
Otama quietly gives them her only meal, smiling like it's nothing.
Sans notices her hands shaking.
When Otama drinks the poisoned river water and collapses, Sans freezes.
His smile vanishes.
He catches her before she hits the ground, blue light flaring faintly in his eye.
"hey… kid. that's not okay."
For once, Sans isn't joking.
He looks at the river, then at the suffering around them.
"luffy… this country's broken."
His voice is calm, but heavy.
"and someone did this on purpose."
He lifts Otama gently.
"don't worry. you shared your food.
now it's our turn to fix things."
For Sans, this isn't just another island anymore.
Screen 3 — Inside Wano

Otama tells them about Ace — Luffy's brother.

Luffy goes silent.
Sans notices immediately.
When Otama collapses again, Luffy clenches his fists.
"Ace… was here?"
The truth hits hard.
Luffy swears on the spot:
"I'll help you. I promise."
They take Otama to her master, Hitetsu.
He gives her medicine and thanks them with quiet respect.
Seeing Luffy's resolve, Hitetsu offers:
A samurai outfit
A legendary sword to help them survive in Wano
Luffy and Sans disguise themselves as samurai.
Sans bows slightly, serious for once.
"sharing food when you're starving…
yeah. that deserves respect."
With Otama between them, fed and safe for now, they set off together.
This is no longer just Luffy's journey.
For Sans, Wano has become personal too.
