Chapter 40 - City Above Heavens [05]

Selpe's eyes widened even more, in disbelief as just what she had seen, the mystery of the tower, it was actually more bigger and luxurious than the castle itself. It wasn't abnormal though, anyone would have been this no more surprised and fascinated by its quiet infrastructure and its mystery.

Selpe quietly wondered how possibly could such a tower or such a building exist? How could one possibly have built it?

She was surely not dumb or like an ordinary mere human—who could not think logically.

From what she concluded was that: it wasn't that this tower is actually this mysterious, or anything special. Perhaps the gate led to somewhere else, somewhere far beyond from the State of Heavens or even from this world the tower was actually a simple tower.

—or so she thought.

In the open space, two tall figures appeared. One was a young man with short white hair and a cute face, his skin flawless and his limpid grey eyes almost shining with innocence—dressed in a sharp black formal outfit: a high-collared fitted jacket crossed by a wide sash held by silver chains and a metal dragon on the shoulder. Red gem-like buttons lined the chest, and long layered tails—one black, one red—fell almost to the ground. His pants were tight, decorated with chains and small metal pieces, and he wore tall lace-up black boots and gloves.

Brahmi De Forge—Mr. Brahmi—the Lord of the Plague. Known for his bold mind, bold look, bold skill, and bold presence. He was the only SS+ ranker, carrying the Grandmaster Mark Branch. He was the one who could not be defeated by anyone. He was the strongest in the State of Heavens—perhaps even the world. Rumours even said he didn't belong to this world, he is a chosen one because of his rare grey eyes there was no one who existed in this world, no one was ever born with those eyes.

Beside him walked another man, short black hairs, a short beard and a bit shorter than Brahmi. It was Nimoo, the S rank bearer and he was also no different than the Brahmi, he was also known as the Deceit, the Deceit Lord The Trickster, who fooled everyone in his battle, hence making them fall by his hand and beg for mercy.

Brahmi walked and greeted them, and at the instant motioning his hand toward Selpe for a hand, he smiled and said in a calm tone "Welcome to the royal, Miss!"

She found herself dumbfounded, even the president, as president was about to spoke in means of interfering

But she didn't prefer to be ignorant, she immediately and quietly smiled back and gave her hand to the Brahmi, feeling the cold hand of the Brahmi she was immediately taken back, and felt uneasy.

Brahmi withdrew his hand instantly "As you must be aware of my name, anyways I still don't like not introducing myself, I am Brahmi De Forge."

The president cleared his throat "now shall we move."

Brahmi had nothing but a slight smile and motioned his hand "Yeah, ofcourse."

"Princes Alerous, is waiting in the Lower Chamber."

Lower chambers were supposed to be in the first floor for the prince as up above the first floor were for the council where the King was supposed to be for day and night. The King rarely leaves the Tower.

They stepped inside the chamber after knocking, guided by the two top Sanctified .

It was quite luxurious, but yet decent

There slept a young man with black hairs, wearing a grey robe laid on the red sofa with a book on his face

It was the eldest prince of the State of Heavens, he was the sole prince living with a mark and even who had forged his own mark, yea it sounded very eccentric and absurd but it was the truth, the mark was known as the "Mark of Persistent," that was the reason he was hated and envied by the most—however not being strong physically but mentally.

Suddenly he lifted the book after hearing the noise, he looked at them with his sleepy black eyes as if he was a child, and wore a child face. It was his weakness, weakness to fall asleep in seconds, in simple words he loved sleeping.

He never asked for respect, but

"Oh—"

He adjusted his posture and calmly motioned his hand toward the next sofa to him.
