Chapter 10 - You’re a Cleric, Why Are You So Violent?

Sylvie thought back over everything that had happened.

First, when he was doing push-ups, her body had inexplicably become heavier…

Then, her whole body had violently trembled for ten minutes straight…

After that, when brushing her hair, both her hair and body had mysteriously floated upward…

If those abilities could still be brushed off as minor tricks—

Then this Level 100 invisibility was something else entirely!

"No wonder he doesn't want to team up."

"This ability… it feels like some kind of aura?"

"In other words… even if he attacks, he won't break stealth!"

"Isn't that basically invincible?"

The elven princess had never imagined that the human who summoned her would have such broken abilities!

With power like this…

Why team up with anyone?

He could just stay invisible and kill his way through everything—the monsters would die without ever knowing what struck them.

For the first time, her impression of Chen Yang shifted slightly.

This human…

Maybe he really was qualified to be her master?!

"Let's go."

Chen Yang checked his status screen, confirmed it was indeed Level 100 stealth, and nodded in satisfaction.

He was currently in the lowest-tier secret realm zone.

The lowest dungeons here were Iron-ranked, and they were the most common.

But to him—

Running Iron-ranked dungeons was a waste of time.

Eighteen years in this world, he'd learned plenty in school, especially about numbers.

By his calculations, with his god-tier combat auras and one Sylvie at his side, he could easily clear Bronze, even Silver-rank dungeons.

As for Gold rank…

It wasn't that he couldn't handle them. It was just that Gold-ranked dungeons almost never spawned here in the South City Secret Realm Zone.

Given that, he might as well head straight for Bronze or Silver.

Any Iron-ranked dungeons he came across—he'd ignore completely.

Meanwhile, inside the Secret Realm Zone…

A swirling black vortex floated in the air—the entrance to a Bronze-ranked dungeon.

Through this entrance lay a separate dungeon instance.

Near the vortex stood a four-person party of fledgling professionals, locked in a heated argument.

"I think we should play it safe. We're only level 2—we should keep farming Iron-ranked dungeons."

"I agree. At our current strength, a Bronze dungeon might be too much."

"What are you two so scared of? It's just Bronze!"

"Exactly! If you're this cowardly, I shouldn't have teamed with you in the first place."

They couldn't agree whether or not to enter.

And just then—

The swirling black vortex behind them suddenly shifted.

Dark light rippled across it, and in the next instant, a phantom black chain sealed across the vortex!

This meant someone had already entered—and locked the dungeon to prevent others from joining.

But…

There hadn't been anyone nearby, had there?

The four of them stared, baffled.

Quickly, they checked the dungeon status:

[Dungeon Level: 1][Dungeon Quality: Bronze][Players: 1/4][Status: Locked (no more entries allowed)]

"???"

They all looked at each other in shock.

"What the hell? Someone's already inside?"

"Did you see anyone go in?"

"Not a soul. Not even a fly around here!"

"Could it be… an invisibility class?"

"Forget that—what's really crazy is that this guy went in alone!?"

"Yeah, and locked the dungeon, too. That's some confidence."

The four were baffled.

They'd been debating whether to go in—

But now? Forget it. The dungeon had already been taken!

"What do we do? Should we find another one?"

"Not me. I'm staying. I want to see who this mysterious solo player is."

"Fine. We'll wait and watch. If they fail halfway and get forced out, we can swoop in and grab the loot. Heh."

None of them thought it was a high-level professional.

That was impossible—anyone more than 3 levels above the dungeon couldn't enter. That was the iron rule.

Which meant… whoever had gone in was at most Level 4.

Curiosity got the better of them.

So the four decided to wait.

And inside that very Bronze-ranked dungeon—

Naturally, the one who had entered was Chen Yang.

The reason he'd activated stealth was simple: to avoid exactly this kind of trouble.

If he hadn't been invisible, he would've had to deal with those four rookies outside. Maybe even clash with them.

To Chen Yang, those four combined weren't even worth his time—but still, why bother?

Better to save his energy for the dungeon.

As the first to enter, he had the right to lock it.

Only then did he take a look around at the environment.

"…A Goblin Nest?"

Still in stealth, he and Sylvie appeared at the mouth of a dim cavern.

Torches flickered weakly at intervals along the walls, giving just enough light to see.

Not far ahead, two goblin grunts guarded the entrance.

The elf girl, emboldened by her invisibility, immediately perked up, eager to attack.

"Wait."

Chen Yang raised a hand. "Let me scout this Goblin Nest first."

Know yourself and know your enemy—that was the key to victory.

Even with God-tier Auras at his disposal, he wouldn't let down his guard.

Too many professionals had died because of arrogance, underestimating seemingly easy dungeons.

Chen Yang wasn't about to make the same mistake.

"…Oh."

Sylvie's pointed ears twitched as she lowered her hand, cheeks faintly flushed.

At the same time, curiosity sparked in her eyes.

Just how was Chen Yang planning to scout this place?
