Chapter 6 - What Even Are These? My Auras Don’t Seem Very Proper!

Unfortunately for Chen Yang—Sylvie noticed immediately.

Her hands flew to press down the hem of her skirt, pinning the fluttering fabric against her thighs with a hateful glare.

"Why can you fly?"

She was angry, but also couldn't help glancing curiously at Chen Yang, who was still floating about leisurely.

"Don't ask. If you do, the answer's simple—I can do everything."

Chen Yang replied lazily, retracting his gaze with a twinge of regret. Then he snapped his fingers.

The Power of Wind aura switched off.

He was prepared for the drop, his legs steady as he landed without issue.

Sylvie wasn't so lucky.

Without warning, the wind aura vanished. She gave a startled yelp and fell flat on her backside.

"Uuuuuu!!"

Sylvie was spiraling into despair.

She had been summoned less than half an hour ago, and already she'd nearly cried several times.

This human… Was there any hope of getting along with him?

Meanwhile, Chen Yang wandered onto the balcony and looked down from the sixteenth floor.

"Flying's nice and all…"

"But inside the city, street zones and public areas forbid aerial travel."

He leaned forward and glanced down.

"…That's really high."

His scalp tingled with a flicker of vertigo.

"Forget it. I'll mess with it later. If I lose control and fall… tomorrow's headlines will be about me."

At the very least, he needed to raise his level. Stronger stats meant that even if he fell, he wouldn't splatter.

Scrolling through his aura list again, Chen Yang began to get a clearer sense of his power.

Not that he could review everything quickly—there were simply too many.

They were already sorted into categories: combat auras, support auras, debuff auras, lifestyle auras… more than a dozen types in total.

Out of curiosity, he tapped into the Lifestyle Aura section.

And froze.

"What the hell are these?"

Clear and Refreshing – Mental recovery speed +1000%.

Enduring Stamina – Sprinting endurance +1000%.

Fatal Contact (God-tier Aura) – Target's sensitivity increased by 1000%.

Chen Yang stared blankly.

Then his gaze slid from the aura list… to the elf girl across the room.

Somehow, this so-called god-tier talent of his… didn't feel very proper at all.

By the time Chen Yang returned from the balcony, Sylvie had just finished combing her hair—again.

"Alright, about time to head out."

He nodded in satisfaction.

Say what you would, having such a top-tier beauty at his side as a summoned creature was guaranteed to turn heads.

"…Go where?"

Sylvie rose reluctantly, still pouting.

"Obviously to help you level up."

Chen Yang headed for the door. "Come on."

Around Zhongnan City, there were two low-level dungeon zones. One of them was just over ten kilometers from Chen Yang's apartment.

In this era of Job Changer, dungeons and secret realms spawned across the world. If they weren't cleared within a set time limit, the monsters inside would spill out into reality.

Luckily, humanity is powerful now. The weaker dungeons posed little real threat. For a fresh job-changer like Chen Yang, the leveling environment was practically ideal.

Just find a dungeon, go in, and start grinding.

"Today's Job Changer Day. Those two low-level dungeons are probably swarming with newbies right now…"

He wasn't worried.

Most new Job Changerrs needed to form parties to survive dungeons, spending time organizing and then splitting loot and EXP.

He didn't need any of that. With God-tier Auras at his disposal, one simple Rapid Growth (God-tier Aura) would make Sylvie strong enough to crush an entry-level dungeon. No need to team up—no need to share.

Soon, Chen Yang and his elf princess left the apartment and walked to the elevator.

He pressed the button for down.

Sylvie, wide-eyed, looked around the narrow space with curiosity.

The doors slid open with a chime.

Chen Yang stepped inside naturally, but Sylvie froze on the threshold, eyeing the enclosed metal box with suspicion.

"What is this?"

"The elevator. It takes us downstairs," Chen Yang explained patiently.

He didn't mock her. After all, she was a princess from another world. Of course she'd never seen an elevator before.

"…Elevator? Does it… produce lightning inside?"

She blinked warily at the small, cramped space. The sight of it made her uncomfortable—she didn't want to go in.

"You're the one who looks like you'd produce lightning. Just get in already."

Chen Yang sighed.

The elevator beeped impatiently as he held the door open. When she still hesitated, he simply issued a command.

And so—

Pouting, Sylvie stepped gingerly into the elevator.

The doors slid shut. The car lurched faintly as it began descending.

Startled by the sudden motion, Sylvie instinctively clutched onto Chen Yang's arm.
