The Goblin King staggered upright, its swollen body glowing faintly white as its muscles twisted unnaturally. Its eyes blazed with a violent, berserk light.

The monster vanished.
A fist like a sledgehammer buried itself in Ji-hoon's stomach before he even saw it move. The impact sent him flying, his body slamming against the stone wall with a sickening crack. He crumpled to the ground, gasping, bile rising in his throat.
"D-Dammit… I didn't know he was that fast…"
He pushed himself up on shaking arms, forcing his lips into a smirk despite the fire burning in his chest. His voice rasped, but he managed to mock:"Haha… you're too slow."
The Goblin King roared, veins bulging with fury, and charged like a white blur.
Ji-hoon's eyes widened. "Oh, shi—"
The monster appeared in front of him, fist swinging down like a meteor.
But Ji-hoon ducked. The punch tore through the air, missing by inches. The Goblin King's momentum carried it forward awkwardly, its heavy body lagging as it stumbled off balance.

The monster's head snapped violently to the side, its crown of bone shattering as the entire hulking body collapsed. It hit the ground with a thunderous crash, unmoving.
Ji-hoon landed hard, nearly collapsing from the recoil. His lungs burned, each breath ragged and shallow. His chest rose and fell violently as he stared at the motionless boss.
He forced a grin. "Oh… I didn't know it was that—"
Pain lanced through his body. His vision blurred. His knees buckled, sending him crashing onto the cavern floor.
