And Barcelona also had there major players injured: Raphinha, Joan Garcia, Fermin Lopez, Gavi.
But the result of the game was completely opposite to what he had predicted.
As the match referee blew the whistle to end the match, he with the other Barcelona supporters left the stadium with disappointment, there was nothing much that can be done now, they have lost the match.
As he walked out of the stadium and merged with the crowd and walked down the street on his way to home, he thought to himself "Would my life have been different if I was not injured at that time." head hung low he pondered on this thought while walking.
Because of that injury his dream to become a professional football was shattered into pieces. He was now just a normal person who had become a simple teacher for small kids.
As he raised his head, he spotted a kid near the road, must have been 6 or 7 years old, the kid was going to pick up his ball which somehow got into the middle of the road.
"Which parent lets there kid play so close to such a busy road without supervision."
But just as he thought about this, he saw a Renault Clio heading towards the kids way. Unintentional by the driver as the kid unexpectedly entered the road and the driver was not quick enough to react.
But Mateo who was near the kid saw this scene and immediately ran towards the kid and shouted "Hey!! Watch Out kid!!"

Mateo successfully got the kid out of the way, but couldn't get himself to safety as the car slammed into him.
"Hey, man are you okay? Somebody call the ambulance fast!!" a crowd gathered near where the accident took place.
He tried to reply to the question but he did not had the ability to do so. Mateo laid there with blood oozing out from the back of his head as he laid there in silence.
The last thing he saw was the dark sky above as his eyes were slowly closing not being able to sustain the simple act of being open.

Mateo Alvarez was returning to this training ground after a long time, around 8 years. You may ask the question why is he returning after 8 years.
The reason is that Mateo is not your average day to day MC but someone who has regressed from 2025 after saving a child from a car accident, but he could not save himself.
