Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Looking at the unusual tactical gear and the distinctive bullseye emblem on the man's forehead, Leon immediately recognized him.

Bullseye.

That dagger had obviously been his work.

Leon recalled Bullseye's background—in most versions, he served Kingpin. His ambush here was undoubtedly on Kingpin's orders.

Against anyone else, even other enhanced individuals, Bullseye's superhuman accuracy would guarantee a dagger piercing vital organs. But Leon was different. Even nearly depleted, the Six Eyes could still track incoming projectiles.

However—where did this confidence come from?

Did this mortal truly believe his mastery of throwing techniques could assassinate him?

Bullseye studied the white-haired man before him. Strong. Stronger than anticipated.

He'd aimed for the head just now, but despite obvious exhaustion, his target had dodged the thrown dagger.

The daggers he used were partially composed of Adamantium alloy—extremely hard, capable of piercing virtually anything. Enhanced by Adamantium, his throws approached sonic speeds.

Yet the white-haired man had evaded. He clearly possessed abilities beyond spatial defense—superhuman physique, or other means?

If this man were at peak condition, Bullseye wouldn't dare approach. But now? Completely different.

"Seems that horrific attack severely depleted you. Even your reaction time has drastically weakened.

In your prime, I'd stand no chance. But now... Hahaha, what greater pleasure than killing a powerful opponent with my own hands!"

Bullseye trembled with excitement. As a top-tier assassin, what could surpass the thrill of killing someone formidable?

But what surprised him—the man showed no panic whatsoever. As if his threat didn't exist at all.

Like a wounded tiger still capable of killing a provoking housecat.

Moreover, the gap between them exceeded even that comparison.

An ominous premonition struck. Bullseye immediately threw his Adamantium daggers, but the man avoided most of them.

However, one blade struck home—providing slight reassurance.

He no longer seemed invincible!

Leon used remaining energy to enhance his body and dodge attacks. Through the Six Eyes, he immediately identified the daggers' special material, understanding how this incredibly hard alloy allowed Bullseye to breach his defenses.

But he remained utterly calm. How dare a mortal provoke a god? Not everyone was Iron Man.

He asked calmly:

"Kingpin sent you to assassinate me, correct?"

Bullseye didn't answer. Instead, he threw daggers faster, even drawing a pistol to shoot. But the Six Eyes tracked everything, allowing easy evasion.

Even without verbal confirmation, Leon observed minute details through the Six Eyes and confirmed his suspicion. He continued:

"Tell me Kingpin's location, and I'll spare your life. Deal?"

Still Bullseye didn't answer. His attacks accelerated, accompanied by mocking laughter:

"You can barely protect yourself, yet you'll spare my life? Just die!"

He produced a rocket launcher from seemingly nowhere and fired at Leon.

When the rocket exploded before Leon, engulfing him in flames, Bullseye exhaled in relief.

He should be dead. Even severely depleted, the white-haired man had been extraordinarily difficult.

An excited smile crossed his face. Killing the strong brought such pleasure!

"You seem happy. Think this is over?"

The voice from within the flames froze his expression. He heard stone breaking, then that demonic voice again:

"One last chance. Tell me Kingpin's location, and I'll make your death painless."

He looked toward Leon in disbelief. As smoke cleared, the man appeared before him—completely intact.

Shrapnel floated suspended before him, unable to reach him like the earlier bullets.

One hand had penetrated the sewer wall. Dim lights grew dimmer still. Simultaneously, the white-haired man's injuries healed rapidly.

Bullseye immediately realized—he was absorbing electrical energy!

"You... you have another ability!"

Understanding the situation, he fled with everything he had.

"Damn it! He has multiple abilities, including energy absorption for rapid recovery! Who could possibly defeat him?

Damn Kingpin—I'm done with this contract. Whoever wants to die can take it!"

But terrifying gravitational pull seized him from behind. Despite physical capabilities far exceeding normal humans, he had no power to resist.

Under Bullseye's despairing gaze, he floated before Leon. Then his limbs were brutally twisted by crushing gravity, eliminating all resistance.

The moment the rocket flew toward him, Leon used kinetic energy from the thrown blades plus supplemental solar absorption to activate Limitless. Then he enhanced his body, thrust his arms through the wall, seized wires and cables inside, and absorbed electrical current.

Massive electrical energy flowed in. Reversal Technique and Limitless reactivated. He returned to prime condition!

The Adamantium dagger embedded in his body was squeezed out by regenerating tissue and clattered to the floor. His injuries vanished instantly.

Seeing Bullseye flee, Leon smiled brightly, then extended his fingers in a grasping motion:

"Blue."

After pulling Bullseye back and twisting his limbs into grotesque angles, Leon asked again:

"Well? What do you think? Just tell me, and I'll grant you a quick death."

Bullseye stared at the white demon before him. Delicate blue eyes beneath white lashes regarded him mockingly.

For some reason, he glimpsed strange crimson darkness in those beautiful eyes...

After completely tearing apart Bullseye's twisted body—leaving only Adamantium-reinforced skeletal fragments—Leon confirmed he genuinely didn't know Kingpin's location.

Kingpin was extraordinarily cautious. His residence changed daily. Even his closest confidants didn't know the next day's itinerary.

Leon slipped his hands into his pockets and walked forward slowly. Blood and shrapnel floating behind him dropped to the ground.

Though unfortunate he couldn't learn Kingpin's exact location, it didn't matter.

As the Six Eyes continued upgrading, observable range and penetrative capabilities would keep increasing.

Once his observation range covered all of New York City, crushing Kingpin would be trivial.

Cables from the sewer wall continuously pulled free under gravitational control, floating around Leon for energy absorption.

Energy Absorption was approaching level 3—his first skill to reach that threshold.

What changes would occur after level 3?

Would there be some unknown transformation?
