Tae-oh, now with a trusted COO and two powerful A-Rank skills (Replication of Siren's Lament and Teleportation Strike), officially founded his guild.
He chose the name The Synthetic Collective.
World-Building: Shadow Guilds are illegal entities that act as parasites on the Hunter Union. They exist to destabilize the market, steal powerful artifacts, and operate in the gray areas of dimensional law.
Tae-oh's objective was unique: The Collective would not hoard treasure; they would hoard skills and flaws.
Min-jae used his engineering expertise to set up a private, dark-web server for the Collective, cloaked in anti-Regressor algorithms (just in case Ji-hoon tried to access it).
"Boss," Min-jae reported, looking at the rapidly growing asset portfolio. "The Siren (Kim Yoo-jin) is recovering from the shock you gave her. She is now hunting for the Shadow-Rank Demon who stole her data. This puts two S-Rank threats on your tail, but it gives us fantastic cover."
"Excellent," Tae-oh said, testing his new Teleportation Strike by blinking across the cavernous sub-station. He was now untouchable in close-range combat. "Let them hunt. Min-jae, find me a high-risk, high-reward target. I need to push my core to A-Rank immediately."
