Chapter 1 - Prologue

Two princesses were born,

Two lives that so differed,

Born with only minutes to spare,

They were inseparable, as they say.

One's path was paved with gold,

While the other's was one of cold.

In their hands, each held a different fate,

Yet they were inseparable, as they aged.

One's life was full of bliss—

Laughter, dances, and rosy kiss.

She held the power that none could miss,

She was inseparable from her other self.

The other's life was full of strife,

With books in hand, she sighed,

"Whatever is life, if these walls confine me inside?"

She remained inseparable from her other self.

One day, the king proclaimed,

"Those who have achieved great feats,

I shall offer my dearest daughter's hand."

Many came, but only one reached her hand.

"I shall make you happy,

Until the end, I shall seek your joy,"

Said the man, as he wooed her grace,

But she remained steadfast, stubborn, as they say.

An eerie silence fell,

As yesterday passed by.

The girl who had been wooed was gone,

Leaving no trace, no hair behind.

"Oh! What have I done?

My dearest girl is nowhere now!"

"I will give you everything,

Just find her, and your wish is grant!"

Their eyes were fixed on one,

That they forgot the thing she left behind.

The two princesses born that night,

They were inseparable as they became one.
