Chapter 24 - Chapter 24. Glacier and El

El-Mond speaks calmly,

his voice echoing softly through the chamber.

"Glacier.

You are the descendant of Icy Prince Lu. Correct?"

The temperature drops.

Glacier stiffens instantly. Her breath catches.

Her pupils contract as fear

flashes across her face. Widened eyes,

tightened jaw, restrained panic.

El-Mond steps forward,

his expression changing instantly.

Brows furrowed, eyes filled with concern rather than threat.

"Calm down. What's wrong? Are you okay?"

Behind her composed face, her thoughts race. Shadows of burning homes, running feet,

blood on snow.

Misunderstanding and Lie

El-Mond continues,

carefully choosing his words.

"The Icy Prince Lu… was a good friend and

helper to me."

The air shifts.

Glacier recoils slightly, confusion overtaking

fear. Her guarded posture falters.

Her gaze flickers—studying him.

"Grandfather. I meant he was a good friend

and helper to my great-grandfather."

Quickly rephrasing his words

El-Mond subtly averts his eyes.

His internal monologue silent,

knowing the truth must remain buried.

A nineteen-year-old claiming friendship with

a man long dead before his birth,

would only seem like madness.

So He could only refer to him as an

acquaintance of his none existing grandfather.

His fist clenched behind his sleeve.

The environment dims as Glacier speaks.

Images manifest faintly behind her like

translucent memories:

A forest burning

A man and woman turning back, smiling sadly

A crying infant wrapped in cloth

A woman with gray hair running endlessly

through snow.

Tears well in Glacier's eyes.

"That's how it is. My family was hunted.

my only kin left is my grandmother."

"If something was to happen to her."

Her shoulders shake slightly.

"I would have really lost everything."

El-Mond's Fury

The temperature suddenly spikes.

El-Mond's eyes darken.

"Hunted?!

By whom?!" He slams his fist down.

CRACK.

The solid stone table fractures instantly, spiderwebs of raw energy radiating outward.

The air distorts violently.

Outside the door, Eldred stiffens, sensing danger.

Hope Offered.

The storm settles.

El-Mond exhales and reaches into spatial storage.

Light erupts.

The Lo Moon Flower.

Ethereal silver-white petals

rotating slowly, radiating moonlight and frost.

Beside it hover seven Ninth Rank

Emperor cores,each pulsing with terrifying

power.

Glacier gasps. "This is.." El-Mond finishing her sentence. "Yes the Lo Moon Flower."

"With this. You can finally awakenen your

Physique!, gaining strength, but." El-Mond

Stands up, takes a step forward.

" My grandfather was told by the Ice Prince Lu

how he Awakened his Physique."

"The process to awakening was excruciating!"

"So."

"Do you still." El-Monds sentence is halted.

With Deep conviction within her eyes. "I do".

"I don't want anyone threatening my or

Grandmother's life.

"Don't want to be at the mercy and whims

of others."

"Hoping, praying. By Each day that goes by,

not to fall into the radar of any powerful person."

Her shoulders Quivering at the mere thought.

"Because I've seen and Head, how gruesome

girls like me end up. And for that I need strength!"

She Clenchs! Her Fist.

"Strength!, to prevent what happened today."

"Strength! to hold my own life in my hands."

Staring Intently back of El-Mond.

"Strength!! TO PROTECT Those important

To me!."

El-Mond smiles. Turning around he Utters.

"AND STRENGTH YOU WILL HAVE!"

With a wave of hand.

The lighting becomes celestial, almost sacred.

Runes ignite across the room—

golden hexagonal arrays interlocking mid-air, forming a grand ritual formation beneath Glacier.

She swallows the Lo Moon Flower.

The moment it enters her body—

FROST ERUPTS.

Her veins glow silver beneath translucent skin. Inside her body, cells crystallize into tiny

moon-like planets, rotating, reshaping, evolving.

El-Mond stands firm,

his right hand slowly freezing despite his control.

Cracks form along his skin—instantly healing,

over and over.

Time blurs.

Days pass. Weeks pass. Month pass.

Glacier's body becomes fully ice-colored,

levitating as moonlight pours from her pores.

The chamber is a frozen star.

Awakening

At last—

Her eyes snap open.

Silver pupils burn like moons.

The energy surges violently.

She reaches forward.

Loss of Control

The moment Glacier touches El-Mond—

everything freezes.

Time. Sound. Will.

El-Mond's pupils shake.

His body locks completely, unable to move,

unable to circulate energy.

His breath fogs in sharp bursts.

Glacier's expression is no longer fully

conscious,

instinct, awakening energy, and suppressed emotion collide.

She presses him down onto the couch,

frost spreading beneath them like shattered glass.

The atmosphere becomes dangerously intimate—heavy breathing, clashing energies, uncontrolled resonance.

El-Mond's thoughts scream for control,

but his body no longer answers.

His lips part.

"Eldred—"

Outside the Door

Eldred pauses.

A faint vibration hums through the door.

He frowns.

"...Did someone call me?"

FADE OUT

The frozen chamber pulses with unstable moonlight.

Two figures locked in Uncontrollable, Passionate

Romance.

The runes flicker violently as the temperature

Begins to drop.
