This voice was like a ghost haunting everyone in the private room; no one knew it better than them.
Besides Ryuzaki Makoto, who drove them to the brink of despair, who else could be the owner of this voice?
In an instant, everyone's heart felt as if it had been squeezed and jumped into their throats.
An instinctive panic quickly spread through the air.
As expected.
Accompanied by slow, unhurried footsteps, Ryuzaki Makoto appeared at the top of the stairs.
He walked up casually, hands in his pockets, as relaxed as if he were at home.
Ryuzaki Makoto did not come alone.
A woman dressed in a black leather jacket was nestled in his arms.
The moment Sarah saw the woman's face, her pupils contracted sharply, and she shuddered uncontrollably, a chill running from the soles of her feet to the top of her head.
That woman was the one who pinned her to the ground that night, punching her relentlessly until she was helpless and even turning her face into a pig's head—Junko.
Ryuzaki Makoto didn't care about the reactions of the others.
He led Junko straight to the center of the sofa and sat down with an air of authority.
The sheer force of nature made everyone feel breathless.
Junko was even more comfortable with herself.
Right in front of everyone, she sat directly on Ryuzaki Makoto's lap, her arms affectionately wrapped around his neck, her whole body like a lazy kitten, clinging tightly to him.
Ryuzaki Makoto was in a good mood tonight.
Just then, I remembered that I hadn't taken this little girl out for some fresh air for a few days, so I picked Junko up on the way.
Junko seemed to enjoy this intimacy in front of everyone.
She fiddled with the buttons on Ryuzaki Makoto's shirt, her eyes darting around, then suddenly gave Sara, who was standing opposite her, a provocative look, and parted her red lips slightly:
"Oh my, look at your smooth, delicate skin. Your face healed really fast. It's only been a few days! Not even a scar left. But to be honest, compared to your current affected appearance, I still miss the way you looked that night with your pig-like face. That raw beauty is truly unforgettable."
Sara was so angry at Junko's blatant provocation that she trembled all over.
She gritted her teeth, her fists clenched so tightly that veins bulged, and she almost couldn't resist rushing up to fight this woman to the death.
Just as she was about to lose her temper, ICE took a step forward, reached out and pressed her shoulder, signaling her not to act rashly.
ICE knew that making a move in front of Ryuzaki Makoto would be tantamount to suicide.
He took a deep breath, gave Ryuzaki Makoto a complicated look, and said coldly:
"Speak up, what exactly do you want by condescending to come to our little town today? We're all smart people here, and I'm not stupid enough to think that you, Chairman Ryuzaki, just came here to have a drink with us."
Ryuzaki Makoto didn't answer immediately, but instead took out a cigarette from his pocket.
Junko immediately took the lighter, shielded it from the wind with her slender hand, and obediently lit his cigarette with a "ding".
Ryuzaki Mami took a deep drag, exhaled a thick cloud of smoke, and said calmly:
"Since you're being so direct, I won't beat around the bush either. I need you to do something for me."
Upon hearing Ryuzaki Makoto's words, ICE's brows furrowed tightly.
Ryuzaki really wants him to do things?
This is absolutely a joke.
With the current strength and status of the True Dragon Society, what is there that Ryuzaki Makoto himself cannot do, that he would have to turn around and ask this group of stray dogs who have been abandoned by the times for help?
This is illogical and too bizarre.
Before ICE could speak, Pearl, the man with dreadlocks next to him, couldn't hold back any longer. He took a step forward and shouted sharply:
"No matter what it is, we refuse!! Forget about it!"
Ryuzaki raised an eyebrow, glancing at Pearl with a hint of disdain, but didn't say anything, as if such a minor character wasn't worthy of his personal response.
Junko, sitting in his lap, burst out laughing.
She turned her head, looked at Pearl as if she were examining a rare animal, and said with a mocking expression:
"Oh, look at you, so capable! You're neither male nor female, and you dare to yell at your grandfather? Don't you understand the situation, or is your brain filled with mush? Take a piss and look at yourself in the mirror. Look at your own behavior. All you have is a stubborn mouth. Where is your backbone? With your skinny arms and legs, you dare to talk about refusing? You really think you're something special?"
"you--"
Bernie, standing to the side, simply couldn't stand how vicious the woman's words were.
He was about to open his mouth and curse back on Pearl's behalf.
"What do you mean, 'you'!" Junko didn't give him a chance to speak, her mouth firing back like a machine gun. "I think you're a blockhead too! What, didn't you get beaten up enough last time? Do you want me to loosen your bones now, so you'll remember what it means to keep your tail between your legs? What right do you two worthless scoundrels have to negotiate with us?"
Pearl and Bernie were left speechless and unable to utter a single word in response to Junko's barrage of attacks.
At this moment, Junko seemed to feel that she hadn't had enough. She glanced at Sara, who was silently looking down, and with a slight smirk, spoke again:
"And you, what are you pretending to be mute for? Do you think I don't know you're cursing me in your heart just because you don't speak? Give me a break. I've seen plenty of green tea bitches like you who have no self-awareness and only know how to play the victim. The only reason I didn't break your legs that day was because I'm kind-hearted. What, you want to try and scam me again today?"
After this barrage of insults, the private room fell into a deathly silence.
Even Ryuzaki Makoto was speechless. Why did he feel like a classic villainous boss with a top-notch henchman specifically tasked with drawing aggro?
This feeling...
Something's not right.
"Ahem." Ryuzaki Mako coughed twice, interrupting Junko's "solo performance."
He sat up slightly, his gaze instantly sharpening as he stared directly at ICE.
"ICE, you're a smart man. You need to understand that what I just said was an order, not a request. I have limited patience. I advise you to obediently agree before my mood gets bad, otherwise, you know the consequences, which are definitely not what you and your brothers want to see."
ICE felt a chill run down his spine; he could hear the undisguised threat in Ryuzaki Makoto's tone.
He knew that this man was a man of his word and definitely not someone who came to tease them in the middle of the night.
"Tell me, what is it?" ICE finally gave in, a hint of helplessness in his voice.
Ryuzaki Shin took another deep drag of his cigarette, but instead of directly stating his purpose, he changed the subject:
"There's no rush to discuss this now. I'll have someone explain the details to you. However, to ensure our cooperation is more solid, I need to bring your friends—" He casually gestured to Pearl, Bernie, Sarah, and the others—to my True Dragon Society headquarters for a visit and a stay for a while. I don't think you'd mind, would you?"
Upon hearing these two casually uttered words, the faces of all the Century Warriors turned deathly pale.
Even a fool could tell that this was blatant house arrest and hostage-taking!
Once they fall into Ryuzaki Makoto's hands, ICE will become a complete puppet of the True Dragon Society, at the mercy of others, and there will be no hope of recovery.
Just as everyone was filled with fear and unease, ICE quietly made several extremely subtle hand gestures to everyone from behind.
That was a code they had honed through countless battles and escapes.
ICE's message was clear: I'll hold him off here, you guys find a chance to split up and run!
The moment the instruction was received, the previously tense atmosphere suddenly became tense.
The next second, without any warning!
"run!"
Pearl and Bernie suddenly erupted.
Instead of attacking Ryuzaki Makoto, they turned and sprinted over the sofa, rushing frantically towards the stairwell, trying to escape!
Ryuzaki Makoto watched the two figures rushing by, simply shaking his head slightly with a playful smile on his lips.
"Actually... I really just wanted them to come over for a visit and have some tea; I wouldn't do anything to them."
He spoke slowly and casually.
"However, since they insist on running away so disrespectfully..."
He hadn't finished speaking.
"Bang! Bang!"
Two extremely dull thuds of flesh colliding came from the direction of the stairwell!
Pearl and Bernie, who had just rushed down, were thrown back at an even greater speed than when they went down, as if they had been hit head-on by two trucks traveling at full speed!
The two people traced an arc in the air before crashing heavily onto the floor and walls of the second floor.
They clutched their chests, lying on the ground groaning in pain, unable to get up for a long time...
