Chapter 1 - 1 Equipment Some people say that we need to travel through time.

The first class of the new semester is taught by the head teacher.

The bell had just rung, and the faint whispers hadn't yet died down. The head teacher put down his chalk and turned around, a stern glance sweeping across, causing the whispering students to immediately shut up.

"Su Er." Zhu Yun lowered her voice: "Don't write anymore."

My deskmate, who was furiously writing his holiday homework, paused for a moment, thinking that he only had one last sentence left, and decided to finish quickly.

There was a wind blowing in my face.

There were many people blocking his way, and the air flow rates were different. Sur didn't want to look up because he had already anticipated what he would see.

A hand reached out: "Bring it up."

Under the sympathetic gaze of his deskmate, Suer put the freshly finished homework on the table.

The head teacher glanced at him and asked, "What are you writing?"

Su Er answered truthfully: "I haven't finished writing a plan for the new semester yet."

The head teacher narrowed his eyes and decided his fate with one word: "Read."

Su Er had no choice but to read the scribbled words: "In the new semester, I will study hard and resolutely not do anything unrelated to the class..."

A burst of laughter rang out.

Zhu Yun turned her head away, her shoulders shaking. Even the head teacher was at a loss for words. She wanted to scold him, but seeing the dark circles under his eyes, she couldn't bring herself to do it. This was the oldest child in the class. It was said that his parents had been traumatized by an accident and had been absent from school for two years. The principal had specifically instructed them to take good care of him.

I swallowed back what I was about to say. The homeroom teacher confiscated the new semester plan and emphasized again: "Senior year is very important."

Suer nodded, looking as if he had learned something.

After a short delay, the class passed quickly. After the head teacher left the classroom, Zhu Yun teased, "I told you not to write anymore."

Su Er twirled his pen in boredom: "What era is it now? I still have to write a plan for the new semester."

As the saying goes, plans cannot keep up with changes.

A few students gathered in the corridor, their seats close to the door, making it easy to overhear scattered conversations. Zhu Yun found hand cream and wiped her hands: "The books are sealed, and they're still discussing it."

Soul: "What book?"

"'Seven Days, Seven Nights,'" Zhu Yun said. "It's extremely explicit, and the content is dark and terrifying. I heard someone committed suicide after watching it, and now it's been banned online."

Su Er raised an eyebrow: "I didn't expect you to be interested in these things."

Zhu Yun snorted, "I heard it from someone too."

Soul: "Who said that?"

Zhu Yun was about to open her mouth when she suddenly choked again and couldn't remember anything for a moment.

Soul nudged her lightly with his elbow: "Making friends out of nothing?"

"I really haven't seen it." Seeing that her explanation was useless, Zhu Yun was too lazy to talk to him and buried her head on the table to catch up on her sleep.

The smile on Su Er's face gradually faded. "Seven Days, Seven Nights" had only really become popular six months ago. It seemed like everyone knew about it, but no one had seen it. Everyone was curious, and he had tried searching online for resources, but unfortunately, he found nothing.

Nothing can be completely banned, and with patience, you can always find it online. But this book is different. Either the page is 404, or it's a fake resource that tricks you into clicking on it.

I shook my head, lamenting my own excessive suspicion. I tore off a piece of letter paper and reluctantly began to write again: In the new semester, I will study hard and make good use of my spare time. Even during breaks, I will actively review the content of the next class...

Just as he wrote the character '容', he couldn't help but sigh, which fell into Zhu Yun's ears. She revealed half of her face and asked, "Are you still doubting that matter?"

Su Er paused his pen and said, "You think I'm a middle school student, too?"

His paranoia wasn't limited to a single novel. During a holiday gathering with friends, they secretly drank some wine, and Su'er, drunk and mad, began to doubt his own life and even felt that his family members were fake, causing several classmates to question his mental state.

Zhu Yun murmured softly, "Maybe it's true."

Soul looked at her sharply.

"Your parents passed away and left behind a large sum of compensation, but none of your relatives took the initiative to get close to you." Zhu Yun curled her lips and said, "My dad won the lottery before the New Year, and the door to his house was almost broken by people stepping on it."

Hearing this, Su Er took a deep breath and said, "That makes sense!"

Anyone can make a guess without evidence, and life went on peacefully. Half a semester had passed in the blink of an eye, and Suer hadn't accomplished any of his plans for the new semester. With the midterm exams approaching, he had to force himself to study.

Boom boom boom.

At night, the knocks on the door were so loud that it almost sounded like banging on it.

Su Er put down his book, frowned, and peered through the peephole with a pair of scissors in hand. He was startled to see a panicked, pale face in the hallway. He quickly opened the door and asked, "Zhu Yun?"

I looked behind her and didn't see anyone suspicious.

"Keep it!" Zhu Yun said hoarsely, pulling out a small electric shock device from her pocket and forcing it into his hand. "Don't mention it to anyone who asks. Take it and save your life."

What the hell?

Zhu Yun didn't even give him time to react and turned around and ran away.

Sur hurriedly chased after him.

His physical fitness scores had always been excellent, and he'd even broken the school record in the 800-meter dash at the athletic meet. Yet, even under these circumstances, he'd lost the man. Standing at the entrance of a dark alley, he felt in his pocket and breathed a sigh of relief when he felt the metal casing of his phone. Fortunately, he had it with him.

After a long phone call with no answer from Zhu Yun, Su Er hesitated for a moment and prepared to call the police. Zhu Yun was a very rational person and would not do such a strange thing unless it was a special situation.

Unbeknownst to him, Zhu Yun's father had already called the police. He called his daughter to dinner that evening, but when he didn't get a response, he pushed the door open and entered. The room was empty, save for a letter on the table. It said she was under too much pressure from studying and wanted to go out and relax. She wasn't sure when she'd be back, so she asked her parents not to worry.

The police took Su'er's statement, omitting the use of the stun gun. Su'er explained that Zhu Yun was in a very bad state. It was already midnight after all this trouble. The police drove him downstairs and gave him some advice.

Su Er was feeling a bit heavy-hearted, and he no longer felt like reading as he sat in his swivel chair. Late at night, it was pouring rain outside, and while he was half asleep, his phone on the table suddenly began to vibrate wildly. Su Er woke up with a start, and the caller ID showed an unfamiliar number.

"Hello."

"It's me." The voice on the other end was a little unclear.

Su Er had a lot of questions in his mind, such as whose phone was she using to call, where was she, etc. Before he could ask a question, Zhu Yun interrupted him: "Do you remember "Seven Days and Seven Nights"?

"Large-scale erotic literature that has been banned?"

The other party was startled by his answer, but ultimately didn't explain. Instead, he quickly said, "It's 3:42 AM now. You will enter the novel in three minutes..."

The voice began to intermittently speak: "Remember to carry the electric shock device with you..."

The call ended abruptly.

Su Er frowned and wanted to call back, but there was a busy tone on the other end of the phone.

Reflexively, he picked up the stun gun on the table and fiddled with it. He hadn't mentioned this at the police station just now. Besides Zhu Yun's warning, and because he had been traumatized before, revealing everything might lead to the misconception that he was using this to do something to Zhu Yun.

Even though I didn't press the power button, a strong electric current rushed straight into my body.

Half of his body instantly went numb. Sur moved his fingers with difficulty to call an ambulance, but his body seemed to be pressed down by the surging waves. He had no time to move and was forcibly dragged into the whirlpool.

There's a leakage!

This was the last thought before falling into darkness.

When he opened his eyes again, he was in a gray world. Su Er closed his eyes tightly, and when he opened them again, he saw several people around him who were like him.

"Where is this?" Someone helped him ask the question in his heart.

Admittedly, no one knows.

"There's someone there!" A girl suddenly pointed somewhere ahead.

Looking in the direction she pointed, I saw several small tables in front, which looked like an enrollment site.

The girl who had spoken couldn't help but run over, and the others quickly followed. Soul was also in the group, following slowly, keeping an eye on his surroundings. Including himself, there were four people in total.

Running to the nearest table, the girl started asking questions breathlessly.

"Mute the mic!" The man who was sitting with his legs crossed slammed the table hard, and the girl took a step back in fright.

The lady at the other table opposite was more gentle: "There is a brochure compiled by our predecessors on the table. You can take a look at it yourself."

Sur and the other man were the quickest to react, their hands touching the edge at the same time.

"You first." The adults took the initiative to make concessions and piled up the food in a thick stack horizontally and vertically, so there was no problem of fighting over it.

Starting with Suhl, everyone took one in turn.

"That's a good one." The man with his legs crossed praised her with a tone that seemed to be full of sarcasm: "Unlike that idiot last time who had to be beaten half to death before accepting reality."

As he spoke, Suhl had already turned to the first page.

The title reads "Seven Days and Seven Nights" in large characters, and the directory is clearly structured:

Abstract.........1

1 Organization ......... 2

1.1 Major organizations.........2

1.2 Requirements for recruiting new members......3

2 Demons and monsters

2.1 Coping methods.........4

When Su Er lowered his head to read the booklet, he bit his lips hard until he could taste the blood foam, then he pretended to lick the wound unintentionally.

It hurts, there are wounds, and the possibility of dreaming is not high.

So is the industry chain for transmigration books so complete now? Someone notified me in advance, and there were even brochures introducing the world view.

"It's about to start." Su Er had good hearing and caught the mumbling of one of the 'Admissions Office'.

At the same time, a huge curtain of water rose in the distance.

The man with his legs crossed had a serious expression on his face. "To cut a long story short, remember everything. The performance of the novice field will be recorded and broadcast publicly on the water screen, and the major organizations will recruit based on this data."

Public broadcast?

Su Er frowned, flipped to the corresponding directory, and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that only the performance of the first participation was announced.

The man noticed his behavior and sneered, "If every detail is revealed, won't the secret be gone?"

In order to survive in this world, everyone must have a secret, or a life-saving chip.
