Chapter 3 - Chapter-3 The Child Prodigy

Time flew in snappily. The two- time-old child, Ram, who was set up alone on the police station way, had now grown into an eight- time-old sensation. Under the care of Srinivas Rao( CI) and Suhasini, he grew up with immense love and affection. Although they were an ordinary middle- class family, they hypercritically handed Ram with everything he demanded, from toys to books. Srinivas Rao's honesty, exactingness, and discipline tutored Ram values, while Suhasini's affection and love filled him with humanity and empathy. The intimidating recollections of the night he lost his parents had fully faded from Ram's face, yet a special brilliance and keen observation were always present in his eyes. It was as if his mind was constantly searching for a secret, stropping itself on every small detail.

Every morning, Ram would go to academy with great enthusiasm. Suhasini would tête-à-tête prepare his tiffin and acclimate his livery before transferring him off. Ram's livery( blue pants, white shirt, blue tie) was always neat and impeccably ironed. His hair was neatly trolled, and his face was bright with a cheerful smile. Before leaving for his morning duty, Srinivas Rao would hold Ram near and say," All the stylish, my son! Study hard and make us proud. You must also come a good police officer like your pater

!" As soon as the academy van arrived, Ram would happily leave for academy.

Ram was now in the third grade. He'd frequently play capriccios with his musketeers, Arjun and Kiran, at academy, but he always bettered in his studies. The academy terrain was veritably affable, bustling with large trees, various flowers, and the horselaugh of children. The day began with morning prayers and ended with games and songs in the evening.

One day in class, the wisdom schoolteacher, Sarala Ma'am, was walking back and forth in her classroom, deep in study. She was about forty- five times old, but a smile and immense love for her scholars were always visible on her face. She was upset because she could not find her spectacles and tablet. She did not indeed notice her saree pallu had slipped." Oh my, I do not know where my spectacles and tablet have gone. I am getting so absentminded recently. perhaps I should come a psychic artist!" Sarala Ma'am murmured to herself in frustration, constantly looking at the chalk duster in her hand. The children in the class chortled, some bruiting to each other. But Ram, sitting in a corner, was quietly observing the schoolteacher's movements, her words, her hand gestures, and her aspect

. Unknown studies and computations were contending through his youthful mind.

Ram sluggishly got up from his seat and walked towards Sarala Ma'am. His eyes were concentrated on the schoolteacher's office and the objects around it.

Ram spoke to his schoolteacher with a confident smile." Do not worry, schoolteacher," Ram said, his voice filled with assurance." Your spectacles are behind the wordbook on your office. And your tablet is coming to the demitasse you just drank from and put away. You put it there and also started looking for it," Ram said with a small grin.

Sarala Ma'am looked at Ram in astonishment. She was authentically shocked. She had not indeed imagined her things would be exactly where he said. She looked at Ram indeed more nearly.

Sarala Ma'am turned to her office. Just as Ram had said, her spectacles were behind the wordbook, and the tablet was coming to the demitasse. She could not believe her eyes." How did you figure that out, Ram? I searched far and wide and could not find them. Everyone in the class was teasing me!" Sarala Ma'am asked in surprise, her voice filled with admiration for Ram.

Ram smiled, making a gesture with his fritters." It's simple, schoolteacher! When you came into the class, your spectacles were on your forepart. also, when you were tidying up the books, they fell on the office. They made a small sound, but you were deep in study and did not notice it. The sound caused them to slide behind the wordbook. As for the tablet, you were walking around the classroom while drinking your tea. When you placed the demitasse on the office, the tablet was in the way without your noticing. It sounded like it brushed against your hand and slid to the side. That is all, schoolteacher!" Ram explained, a hint of pride and triumph on his face. All the children in the class looked at Ram in astonishment. Their whispers turned into sounds of wonder. Arjun and Kiran looked at each other, amazed by their friend's intelligence. Sarala Ma'am unfeignedly complimented Ram." Well done, Ram! You are truly a little operative!" This incident revealed how intelligent Ram was and how keen his experimental chops were. It showed everyone how he'd use his intelligence and the unique perspective he'd on problems.

Indeed at home, Ram's intelligence would frequently shine through. The six times Srinivas Rao and Suhasini spent with Ram were filled with immense joy and satisfaction. They saw their own child in Ram. Every evening, as soon as Srinivas Rao came home, Ram would run and clinch him. Their bond came precious. Ram was veritably mischievous at home. He'd leave toys far and wide, hide the television remote, or make small miscalculations while helping Suhasini in the kitchen.

One day, Suhasini was upset because her old diamond ring was missing. She allowed

it was in the kitchen or the bedroom, but it was not there. Ram understood the anxiety on her face. Srinivas Rao, reading the review, said," You must have lost it, Suhasini. Do not worry. You will find it latterly." He said it casually, not paying important attention. Indeed though Srinivas Rao understood how upset his woman

was, he'd tell her not to worry about small effects, but he believed this was an occasion for Ram to prove his intelligence.

Ram looked at Suhasini." mama, you were sitting on the lounge watching television, right? The ring was not on your hand also. It was only missing when you went to the kitchen," Ram said, explaining with keen observation.

Suhasini looked at him in surprise." Yes, Ram, how do you know?" she asked, her eyes wide with astonishment.

" When you were watching television, you were playing with your fritters, and the ring was not there. But before you went to the kitchen, you were on a phone call, were not you? You sounded irked. When you were holding the phone to your observance, the ring must have slipped and gotten wedged in the reverse of the phone cover. Check the phone cover formerly," Ram suggested. His voice was full of conviction. Suhasini incontinently looked at the reverse of her phone. And indeed, the ring was safely stuck in the phone cover.

Suhasini hugged Ram tightly. Her eyes were filled with joy and pride." You're so smart, Ram! My little disquisition officer. You're fated to come a great special officer!" Suhasini said, laughing. Srinivas Rao also laughed and said," His intelligence amazes me, Suhasini. occasionally I wonder if he will break my cases too," Srinivas Rao said jokingly, supporting Ram. These small incidents further increased Srinivas Rao and Suhasini's confidence in Ram's capacities. They always encouraged Ram to use his intelligence. Ram's nonage was veritably happy, but his extraordinary experimental chops and intelligence, a gift from his history, continued to grow.

After regale, Srinivas Rao, Suhasini, and Ram were all sitting in the hall watching the news on television. Just as Suhasini was about to turn off the television after the news ended, Srinivas Rao said," stay, Suhasini, I feel there is some important news moment," looking at the television. At that veritably moment, a news channel flashed a breaking news caption, and a womanish journalist began her report.

" Breaking News! The nano- medicines trade in this megacity is twisting out of control! Targeting the new generation, these dangerous medicines are now freely available in the megacity. They're being traded through small packets and indeed small particulars. Children and youthful people are getting addicted to these medicines, destroying their future. Just history, ten scholars from three different sodalities were victimized by these medicines and rehabilitated. All three of these sodalities are within the governance of a single police station, but not a single person has been arrested yet!" The journalist's voice was filled with violent passion and wrathfulness." With so important passing in the megacity, what's the police department doing? Why are competent officers like CI Srinivas Rao at that police station silent on this matter? If the police do not take this seriously, the megacity's future is at threat of getting a question mark! Who's the source of these medicines? Who's the gang behind them? The police must respond incontinently and exclude the public's fear!" she concluded her report.

Srinivas Rao's face incontinently came serious as he watched the news. His eyes showed a blend of wrathfulness and concern. Just also, his mobile phone chimed. It was an critical call from the police station. Head Constable Murthy's name flashed on the screen.

Srinivas Rao answered the phone and spoke gravely." Yes, tell me, Murthy. what happed?"

Murthy anxiously said," Sir! Did you see the news on television just now, joe? It seems a big shot is involved in the medicines case, joe. Our department is under immense pressure. The DGP joe is also veritably serious about this. He has asked for an critical meeting, joe. He said you have to take the lead, joe."

Srinivas Rao ended the phone call, looked at the television, and said forcefully to himself," I must stop this cabal, no matter what." The determination of a police officer was visible in his eyes. Ram, who eavesdropped this discussion, noticed the soberness on his consanguineous father's face. The word" medicines" and the journalist's wrathfulness filled his youthful mind with an unknown anxiety. He'd a vague feeling that his consanguineous parents were about to get into peril. outdoors in the darkness, unknown forces began to stir, sluggishly moving towards Ram's family.
