Chapter 147 - The Green Dragon is in danger! Is the dragon tired?

Just then, the Green Dragon, made of paper, plunged into the burning Fire pit!

Logically, with the technology of this spaceship, a Fire pit wasn't needed for warmth.

However, people always have a bit of romanticism in them.

So, this 'ancient' object was installed on the spaceship.

"No!!!" Rocket was greatly surprised.

You see, this was a paper dragon!

Made of paper!

If it plunged into Fire, how could it survive?

Instantly, the people under the light screen were dumbfounded!

They had just grown fond of this cute little guy, and now it was about to be burned to ashes?

Why do good things always pass so quickly?

The rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy were also stunned.

Paper objects would disappear in an instant in Fire.

It was too late to save it!

Drax roared, "No!!! Little guy, I won't let you die!"

He charged towards the Fire.

Just then, something unexpected happened!

That Green Dragon, made of paper, shot out of the Fire with a whoosh!

And it was completely unharmed!

Drax was stunned!

He was absolutely certain that the paper dragon had been engulfed by the flames just moments before.

"It's fine? Wow, you scared me to death! This little thing is too mischievous!"

"It's fine even after being burned by Fire! I think it's definitely not just a simple paper dragon!"

"Actually, we've all overlooked that we are currently inventorying containment of divinity, so this paper dragon... could it be a god?"

"No way, really? There were so many paper dragons that came out just now! Could they all be gods?"

At Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One's eyes held a hint of disbelief.

In reality, making a simple paper object immune to Fire would be easy even for a beginner mage at Kamar-Taj.

But the Ancient One sensed that this paper dragon was genuinely made of paper!

No magic or illusion had been applied to it.

This precisely indicated the dragon's special nature.

The Ancient One speculated that the paper box was definitely not simple.

There must be profound mysteries within it.

Although she didn't know what they were specifically.

Soon after, the Green Dragon also went back inside.

After a few tens of minutes, a pink dragon appeared.

This cycle continued.

Each dragon that appeared differed in color, shape, and personality.

But they were all very friendly and full of curiosity.

And so, the Guardians of the Galaxy played with these paper dragons, no longer caring where they drifted.

This continued for several days.

Just when everyone thought that dragon here would continue like this, producing paper dragons, a change occurred.

Since the last paper dragon went in, no more dragons had emerged.

Immediately, the Guardians of the Galaxy became very anxious.

For this to happen so suddenly, something must have occurred.

However, they didn't know the reason.

The box appeared normal, with the words "dragon here" printed on it.

Rocket paced back and forth, looking very anxious.

"Why haven't they come out again? Has something happened?"

He picked up the box, squinting as he looked into the slit at the top of the box.

But he couldn't see anything.

He shone a flashlight inside, but it was still pitch black.

This made him even more frustrated, but there was nothing he could do.

He couldn't just tear the box open, could he?

And so, all members of the Guardians of the Galaxy had no mind for anything else.

They were all anxiously waiting to see if a dragon would emerge again.

The people under the light screen empathized with this feeling.

Just as they were lying on the ground, bored, suddenly, the box pulsed!

Whoosh!!!

Everyone sprang up from the floor like hungry wolves pouncing on prey, surrounding the box and staring intently at it!

After a while, nothing came out.

The box just trembled slightly.

Finally, after another moment, a Blue Dragon was born!

Immediately, the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy were ecstatic!

"Ah, it finally came out! I thought something had happened!"

"Good, good, I thought I'd never see the cute little dragons again. Thankfully nothing went wrong, but why did it take so long to come out?"

"Wait... have you noticed that this dragon looks very tired?"

"Now that you mention it... it does seem a bit! Compared to the dragons that appeared before, this dragon isn't lively at all!"

"Yes... he's been walking on the ground and doesn't even want to fly!"

At S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick could now mostly confirm that this "dragon here" was likely a harmless containment.

Because it had not shown any harmful effects so far.

After these past few days, although he was reluctant to admit it, Nick had also grown fond of these paper dragons.

After all, a harmless and cute containment was always better than one that could destroy the world, right?

Nick looked at the somewhat tired paper dragon.

He concluded that something must have happened before.

All the secrets were in that box.

Thinking of this, Nick frowned deeply.

Inside that box, there wouldn't be anything bad, would there?

As he thought this, he became nervous again!

In the light screen, everyone could see that the paper Blue Dragon was a bit tired.

But Quill was still shouting, "Ya-hoo, ya-hoo!" He kept tossing the Blue Dragon up and down.

"Hey, Quill! He's very tired, let him be!" Rocket said helplessly.

"Oh, alright." Quill placed the Blue Dragon on the ground.

Just then, this dragon crawled towards the box.

Rocket looked a bit worried; he didn't know what had happened.

"What's wrong with you?" Rocket leaned down, looking at the Blue Dragon with concern.

The Blue Dragon stopped.

He flapped his wings a few times.

Then, a few words appeared on his back: "Goodbye, friend."

Then, the Blue Dragon flapped its wings and flew back into the box.

Rocket was stunned for a moment: "Goodbye... friend?"

Groot: "I am Groot?"

Gamora: "He considers us friends, but why would he say goodbye?"

After a long time, just like before, no dragon appeared.

Everyone had no choice but to continue waiting.

Finally, after a period of anxious waiting, another dragon appeared!

This time, it was the one that had appeared before: the most mischievous, most lively Green Dragon!

However, half of its body was already wrinkled!

Immediately, everyone's hearts sank!

It fell directly to the ground.

Rocket carefully picked it up: "What happened? Are you hurt?"

At this moment, Rocket saw the words on her back: "I'm sorry, my friends. We can't let them come over."

Then, the Green Dragon flapped its wings a few times and stopped moving.

Rocket was stunned.
