This scene indeed shows our Monarch is recovering his strength to his prime.
Suddenly, he started charging toward the horde of strange beasts, but an incident occurred that confirmed our guess.

Then it started, the slaughter of beasts. Our Monarch moved with precise movements, reaping the lives of filthy beasts like a grim reaper.
The beasts that were slaughtered suddenly stand up and turn on their own army.
