Izaru was under arrest.
Twenty-seven students had vanished, and every finger pointed at him. Of course, he couldn't tell the truth—that his entire class had been summoned to another world. Who would believe such a story? Not the parents, not the police, not anyone.
After a long, brutal day of questioning, he finally sat alone in a soundproof interrogation room with a single officer. Night had already fallen.
The officer leaned back, arms crossed. "So. Where are the kids?"
Izaru kept his eyes lowered, staring at the floor. "I don't know."
"Don't lie to me." The officer's tone sharpened. His gaze cut through Izaru. "I know all about your past, Devil's Son."
The words hung heavy in the air.
For a moment, Izaru said nothing. Then, slowly, he raised his eyes and locked them onto the officer's. "You're wasting your time. My past… is mine to carry. You only know half of it. And I'd prefer if you forgot that much as well."
The officer's expression hardened, but he didn't reply. After a tense silence, he finally stood. "I'll be back. Don't move."
The door shut, leaving Izaru alone in the sterile room. He didn't move an inch. Until it appeared.
A shimmer on the wall. It spiraled outward, glowing faintly, before clearing into a transparent window.
And through it, he saw her.
"Sensei!" Aika's voice rang out.
"Aika?!" Izaru shot to his feet, running to the window. "Wh—how?!"
She smiled. "I got a skill that lets me talk to you even if we're in different worlds." Behind her, the other students waved excitedly.
Izaru exhaled in relief. "I'm just glad you're safe."
Then the kids noticed the cuffs on his wrists.
"S-sensei?" Aika's smile faltered. "Why are you wearing handcuffs?"
"Oh, this?" Izaru forced a laugh. "Well, no one would believe me if I said you all got summoned to another world. Your parents are panicking… so this is natural."
"Then show them this window!" Aika insisted. "Call the police—prove it to them! They'll let you go!"
But Izaru shook his head. "Na-ah. Don't worry about me. Just live your lives in that world… and come back when it's over."
"B-but—!"
Before she could finish, Jumpei piped up, voice trembling. "Sensei, what if… what if demons come to abduct us?"
And just like that—he jinxed it again.
The connection flickered as high-level demons burst onto the scene. Screams filled the window.
"Sensei!! Help!!!" Aika cried, tears streaming.
"I should've kept my mouth shut!!!" Jumpei wailed as the demons dragged them away.
The window shattered, cutting off their voices.
Izaru froze, every muscle locked. Then his body moved on its own. He slammed his fist into the wall.
"NOOOO!!!"
Another punch. Then another. By the seventh, the wall didn't crack—it shattered, like glass.
On the other side was not the police station, but a forest bathed in moonlight.
Breathing hard, Izaru stepped through. The wall sealed itself behind him, leaving no trace.
Then a shadow fell across the ground.
He looked up. A man hovered above, not flying so much as standing in the air. His face was hidden.
The man didn't ask for his name. He didn't give his own. He simply spoke:"Do you want to save them?"
Izaru didn't hesitate. "Yes. I'll save them—no matter what it takes!"
The man snapped his fingers. Another rift split open behind him, leading into a forest where night reigned.
Izaru stepped through. The rift vanished.
He looked around the foreign land. His heart raced. His instincts screamed. And yet—he knew what to do.
"Status Window."
And it appeared.
Name: Sakatu Izaru
Level: 1
Skills: EXP Multiplier (x25)
Titles: [Hidden] Dimension Breaker
Class: None
Izaru blinked. He'd played enough games to know how insane this was. An EXP multiplier—twenty-five times? That was ridiculous.
But he wasn't complaining. It meant he could grow stronger faster. Strong enough to bring his students back.
A low growl echoed. The air shimmered again.
Warning:Crimson Wolves [Lv. 35] have appeared. Avoid combat if possible.
Izaru smirked. His fists clenched.
"Strong opponents mean faster growth." His voice was steady. Dangerous. "And right now, power's what I need most."
He stepped forward, eyes gleaming."Come on, puppies. Let me teach you some manners!"
