Chapter 38: A Day in the Life of Brahman 2
"Praise be to Father Brahman."
Vishnu stepped down from the snake bed and came to Brahman's feet, bowing respectfully. Raising his head, his eyes filled with devotion.
"You are the origin of all things. You gave birth to the three realms and gave rise to all gods and spirits. You bestowed wisdom, consciousness, and feeling. Praise be to your greatness."
As proud as Vishnu had been before, so humbled was he now.
The moment he saw Brahman's true form, he felt like he was about to collapse. He couldn't believe that the true form of the God of Consciousness was actually Brahman.
Vishnu had hypotheses about the connection between Brahman and the Supreme Spirit, but he didn't dare speculate on this!
At this moment,
There was another deity with consciousness in the three realms.
That was the snake bed.
The thousand heads of Shesha, the primordial dragon king, all closed their eyes tightly, but tears flowed uncontrollably.
Yes, he was frightened and crying.
"Why don't you still my consciousness?"
"Why can't I still hear your voice even though I've sealed off my six senses?"
"Please, let me go!"
Shesha, the Dragon King of the Beginning, was anxious.
Tears welled from his thousand tightly closed eyes.
He wanted to withdraw and cry, but was afraid of being discovered by Vishnu.
Shesha, the Dragon King of the Beginning, knew his master's character all too well.
He would never be allowed to witness such a lowly side of him.
"Vishnu, do you acknowledge your sin?"
Brahman's commanding voice echoed, causing Vishnu to collapse on the water, his face terrified.
"I know I have committed the sin of insulting Brahma. I deserve to be annihilated, both in body and soul. Please, great Father Brahma, punish me."
Vishnu dared not resist even a little.
He was indeed a Trimurti, possessing supreme power and controlling the laws and order.
He could act on behalf of the Supreme Spirit. But this was Brahman before him!
He was the source of the Supreme Karma!
In other words, all the power he possessed was bestowed upon him by the great Brahman Father.
The Supreme Karma he represented was also the will of the great Brahman Father.
"End it yourself," Brahman said calmly.
Even if the Supreme Karma separated, the power Brahman controlled still far surpassed the Trimurti.
With a single thought, he could reclaim all of Vishnu's laws and order.
He could also alter everything in the Three Realms.
If he so desired, he could even reverse the great destiny of the Supreme Karma of the Three Realms, bringing the present time forward to the Churning of the Ocean of Milk.
He could even advance it to the seventh Manu period.
Or perhaps even end this calamity.
He opened his eyes again.
But this great power only lasted for a day. Brahman didn't want control for just one day; he wanted complete harmony with his own inherent power, eternal control.
"Ah~"
Vishnu was startled.
But facing the great Brahma, he dared not raise any objection. Devoutly willing to obey his will, he was willing to obey his will.
But ending his own life?
Vishnu's face was awkward, and he said respectfully, "I... I cannot kill myself. Please, great Brahma, extend your gracious hand."
This was true.
The Trimurti lacked the ability to end their lives.
They were infinite, and therefore immortal.
They were conscious, and therefore mortal, but they could not kill themselves.
"You are not worthy of my dirty hands."
After saying this, Brahma looked at Shiva, who had entered a state of infinite unconsciousness. He could not help but sigh that even the Lord of Innocence had lost his innocence in his presence.
At this moment, Shiva, in his infinite unconsciousness, came directly before Brahma and bowed respectfully.
"Praise to Brahma."
Then he rose, and the terrifying Law of Destruction surged forth, transforming into a massive axe, striking directly at Vishnu.
Without the slightest hesitation.
"Brahma, be merciful and allow me to return to your embrace~"
Vishnu's words died away as Shiva split his body in two. The energy embodied in the terrifying Law of Destruction crushed Vishnu's will.
Uh~
That's it?
Shesha, the Primordial Dragon King, suppressed his shock and dared not open his eyes, but the scene flashed through his consciousness.
"Great Brahma, are you messing with me?"
All six senses are shut down. Project this scene into your consciousness.
Suddenly.
At that moment, the entire Three Realms fell silent.
Only Brahma remained conscious. All the gods and spirits of the Three Realms entered a state of stillness.
Brahman glanced at Shesha, the Dragon King of the Beginning, and a meaningful smile appeared on his face. Then his consciousness communicated with the Supreme Spirit Karma.
Vishnu had committed the sin of insulting Brahma and was to be killed.
Not just once, but a billion times.
But no matter how many times he was killed, Vishnu would be resurrected, for he was the Trimurti, the most devoted follower of Brahma.
He was also the deity who sustained the universe.
In a flash, a thousand thoughts crossed his mind.
Brahman opened his eyes, a smile spreading across his face.
The Supreme Spirit Karma gave him some clues, allowing him to fully control his true self.
(The Supreme Spirit Karma is the protagonist's subconscious will. The protagonist is the main consciousness entering Brahma, equivalent to the waking consciousness entering the dormant self. The dormant self has a self-preservation will, for example, when people suddenly wake up from a nightmare to prevent themselves from dying in the dream. This is a subconscious will of self-preservation.)
The condition is to forgive Vishnu.
Brahman naturally accepted with pleasure. He hadn't intended to completely kill Vishnu; otherwise, wouldn't the situation have been reopened?
With a single thought, Vishnu, who had vanished into nothingness, reappeared.
But at this moment, Vishnu was in a state of infinite unconsciousness, the same as Shiva.
"My great and harsh master has returned."1
Primordial Dragon King Shesha's body trembled with excitement, but he immediately controlled it, his heart filled with fear.
He feared Brahman would notice him.
Brahman instantly grasped the inner thoughts of Primordial Dragon King Shesha. He paid no attention, but instead calculated the time.
Ten instants remained in the day.
Had he actually negotiated with the Supreme Spirit Karma for so long?
Not daring to waste any more time, Brahman used the supreme Brahman Karma to summon the twelve worlds hanging from Mount Sumeru.
Then he merged these twelve worlds with the sea of consciousness of Ximi and Manlina.
At this moment, Ximi and Manlina's seas of consciousness connected, their worlds merging.
Once fused, they would form a mighty world force.
After the revision of the Universal Law, this would be an absolutely terrifying force, allowing them to maintain their current positions.
It would also aid Vann in his journey to self-discovery.
After all this was accomplished,
The day had come to its final thought.
Vann had tampered with Vishnu's consciousness after entering the sea of consciousness. He could no longer control the power of his true self, and naturally could not reveal his true identity.
"What a pleasant day."
Vann felt his terrifying power ebbing, feeling a sense of helplessness, but more of excitement.
At least, he understood the power of his true self.
It was an unimaginable force.
A power that possessed concepts, yet existed beyond concepts.
"Hmm? That's not right..."
"I'm poisoned!"
