It's now 11 o'clock at night. A girl is diligently reading a research article on her laptop.
Many ancient artifacts are kept in this building which date back to the time of a demon emperor. These artifacts have been secretly brought here and preserved. It is still not confirmed whether these artifacts are related to the same demon emperor or not.
"Xin Ye! It's time to go home.", Li Hua says.
"Five more minutes.", Xin Ye replies. She focuses all her attention on her laptop because she finds something very interesting in the article.
"Li Hua! See!", Xin Ye says in excitement.
"What did you find?", Li Hua asks and comes near her. She looks at the laptop.
According to the article, the lost palace of the demon emperor and most importantly his real sculpture is in Xuantian Abyss which is on the border of Hong Kong.
"Really! It means Chao Xiang's lost palace is in Xuantian Abyss! But how will we go there? I mean it's not safe and I have heard that whoever goes there disappears.", Li Hua says.
"Yes. But this is the only way. If we want to find the real sculpture and the weapon called the Chronofang, we must go to Xuantian Abyss. And this article has been written by the most famous professor Prof. Wu. Maybe he must have done some research due to which he has come to this conclusion.", Xin Ye says.
Li Hua pulls out a chair and sits down.
"So tomorrow let's meet Mr. Wu.", Li Hua says.
Xin Ye nods her head. They both grab their bags and exit the building after turning off the lights. Li Hua is very excited and hugs her childhood best friend tightly.
"It's very difficult to wait for tomorrow. The work we've been doing for ten years is finally going to be completed.", Li Hua says.
Xin Ye smiles after seeing her friend's happiness. She is also very curious and sometimes feels that she herself is very important for this research.
"Good night. And sleep at time.", Xin Ye says.
Li Hua nods her head. Then they both head back to their houses. Li Hua calls her boyfriend and talks to him while she's still home.

Xin Ye lives alone in this apartment. She belongs to a rich family. Her parents live in Shanghai. They are rich and one of the biggest businessman of China.
Xin Ye is twenty five years old. She had known about Chao Xiang and Chronofang since the age of fifteen. She's been interested in this research ever since. People don't believe that this type of demon and its weapon, the Chronofang, still exist in this world. Only a few people believe in this.
Xin Ye lies on the bed and looks at the ceiling. Many thoughts are running through her mind.
"Now even Prof. Wu has written an article on Chao Xiang. I will not be defeated. I will prove that the demon is still among us. After that people will also know about us. Me, Xin Ye, Yi Chen and Mu Yang.", Xin Ye thinks and smiles and hugs her pillow.

Xin Ye rings the doorbell. Li Hai and her boyfriend Yi Chen are there too. Mrs. Wu opens the door. Her eyes are moist. There are a lot of people at home today.
Those three greets Mrs. Wu.
"Actually we want to meet Prof. Wu. Is he free then can we get a chance?", Lu Hai says.
The lady becomes sad and the tears which she was controlling now starts flowing from her eyes.
"He has passed away. He is no more. Last night he had a heart attack. We took him to the hospital but the doctor declared him dead." The lady says.
Xin Ye holds the hand of Mrs. Wu.
"May he rest in peace. He was really a god person. I met him once and he was very humble.", Yi Chen says.
After a few minutes Xin Ye, Li Hua and Yi Cheng comes to the cafeteria.

Xin Ye gets sad after knowing Prof. Wu's death. Li Hua put hand on her shoulder.
"So, what's next?", Li Hua asks.
"We will go to Xuantian Abyss.", Xin Ye says.
Yi Chen gets tense. Because that place is very dangerous and what will happen next no one knows.
"Are you sure?", Yi Chen asks.
"Yes. We are researching in it from many years and we can't waste this opportunity. Let's do it. And if you don't want to come then it's okay. I will go there and check.", Xin Ye says.
"No!", Yi Chen and Li Hua says in unison because they can't let their friend to go there alone.
"We will come. Let's take the risk together.", Li Hua says.
"Yes. Let's do something daring.", Yi Chen says.
They order coffee and snacks and build their plan.

The next day, Yi Chen arrives with a car. Li Hua is already in his car. Xin Ye sits in the backseat. As Yi Chen starts the car, they leave for Xuantian Abyss.
Excavation equipment is kept in the car, along with a gun for protection.
"I've heard the network goes off when we go there. If that happens, how will we contact each other?", Li Hua asks.
"Don't worry honey. We will all be together. If we stay together, no one will get lost.", Yi Chen says.
Yi Cheng accelerates the car. After two hours, they finally reach their destination.

It's ten o'clock in the morning now. They've arrived just in time. It's a forest area with tall trees.
"Have we come to the wrong place?", Xin Ye mumbles.
"No. Location is same.", Yi Chen says.
"Guys! Network has gone.", Li Hai says and shows her phone's network.
"We have to do it fast. It can be dangerous if we stay here until night. We will stay in a hotel for the night and return tomorrow." Xin Ye says.
Yi Chen brings a metal detector. They all start digging at the spot. Suddenly, the weather turns dark. Till now there was good sunlight but suddenly due to the weather becoming dark, there is problem in excavation because nothing is visible clearly.
After a while, the wind starts blowing. It was a gentle breeze before, but now it's blowing very strongly.
"What's happening?", Li Hua asks.
"I think we should go in the car.", Xin Ye says.
As the wind blows, raindrops begin to fall upon them. The wind causes even the tallest trees to sway, creating a unique illustration.
"Run fast!", Yi Chen says.
Everyone collects their belongings in boxes and runs towards the car. After Xin Ye runs for a few meters, she suddenly slips and falls. She tries to get up but an unnatural force keeps her pinned to her place.
