A petrification ray once again burst from Gatanozoa's head, firing straight into Sphere's black hole.
Sphere tried to repeat its usual trick—swallowing the ray into the black hole—but in doing so, it exposed its core to everyone's sight.
Seizing the chance, the black mist surged inside, crackling violently across Sphere's body. Sparks erupted, and at the same time, parts of Sphere's core began turning to stone.
The dual assault overwhelmed Sphere completely. Its fragile core defences were quickly corroded by the black mist and broke apart amid a storm of sparks.
Then—BOOM!
A massive explosion erupted within the black hole itself.
Just like in Ultraman Dyna's world, when the Sphere's black hole exploded, it generated a powerful suction force. Countless meteors were drawn in, and even Gatanozoa, the nearest one to the black hole, was pulled toward it along with its own black mist.
From Gatanozoa's frantic movements, it was clear—it did not want to be dragged in.
But the suction was unimaginably strong. Even Yu Zhou, who was watching from afar, could feel the shockwave of the Sphere black hole's explosion.
With a roar that echoed like dragons and elephants, Gatanozoa was ultimately swallowed by the black hole, vanishing from Yu Zhou's sight.
"Mutual destruction, huh."
The universe returned to calm.
Retracting his Diga form, Yu Zhou approached Belial.
Belial was staring at the Ultimate Battler, which now contained Zogu in its second form. This Zogu, he noted, was one of the strongest monsters he had ever captured with it.
In truth, during Ultra Galaxy Legends, most of the beings Belial controlled with the Ultimate Battler were aliens—meaning that, by the device's classification, aliens counted as "monsters" too.
"Wait…"
Yu Zhou suddenly thought of something.
"For Earthlings, aren't Ultramen from the M78 Nebula technically aliens too?"
If that's the case… then could the Ultimate Battler control Ultramen as well?!
"???"
What kind of bizarre setting was this?!
But thinking about it again, that hadn't happened—yet. And likely never would.
"That monster just now—Greeza, right? You couldn't hit it, could you?"
Yu Zhou pointed toward Earth and asked.
"It's just another monster. This great lord will wipe it out soon enough."
Belial's crimson eyes glowed as he raised the Ultimate Battler, aiming it toward the shroud of darkness enveloping Earth.
"Then let's go."
Yu Zhou didn't say much else. He only hoped Belial would actually solve the Greeza problem later.
"There are tons of monsters on Earth right now," Yu Zhou added as he took off ahead. "Your Ultimate Battler probably can't even fit them all."
As he spoke, he sped toward Earth.
But midway through his flight—
A beam suddenly shot from behind, slamming against his Shining Ring Shield.
Turning around, Yu Zhou saw Belial, pointing the Ultimate Battler at him.
"Belial…"
Yu Zhou wasn't even surprised.
Belial attacking him was… frankly, normal.
In Ultra Galaxy Legends, Belial had immediately killed the foolish alien who gave him the Ultimate Battler—without hesitation or sentiment.
Now that he was targeting Yu Zhou, it only meant one thing: Yu Zhou had become unnecessary.
Besides, Yu Zhou was a Giant of Light, and Belial—who had fallen into darkness—naturally carried resentment toward him.
"I'm not fighting you right now," Yu Zhou said calmly. "If you want to collect monsters on Earth, go ahead. I have bigger problems to deal with."
There was no point in fighting Belial now.
Both had their own goals—Belial wanted to capture Earth's monsters, and Yu Zhou needed to face the real threat.
A battle between them now would only waste time and benefit no one.
Meanwhile, on Earth.
Global United Council Hall.
When the world's leaders heard that a monster named Greeza had appeared on Earth, every pair of eyes turned toward the M Company delegation.
Before long, a representative stood up to explain.
"Greeza," he said, "is the final boss from the world of Ultraman X. It's known as the Void Monster."
"It feeds on a planet's life energy. Its unique void abilities make all normal attacks completely ineffective."
After the M Company representative finished, the hall fell into uneasy silence.
"What do you mean, 'ineffective'? You're saying it's invincible?"
A high-ranking official from Meligen spoke up, visibly tense.
"Not exactly invincible," the representative replied. "But unless you can use a Space Needle to force it into a physical state, there's simply no way to damage it."
"Space Needle? What's that?" someone asked.
"Well…" the representative hesitated, but continued, "According to current settings, only Ultraman X and Ultraman Z possess such a thing."
"So, you're saying Ultraman Tiga doesn't have one?"
"That's correct."
The hall went dead silent again.
Dark Lugiel was already wreaking havoc across the world—
and now, another ultimate enemy, Greeza, had appeared.
All humanity's hopes were pinned on Ultraman Tiga.
And yet, M Company had just said Tiga couldn't even touch Greeza?!
So, this monster was literally unbeatable?!
That meant the world was doomed.
At least… humanity was.
"I have another question."
A representative from Japan stood up, addressing the M Company team.
"If Tiga transforms into his Shining form…, can he defeat Greeza?"
"Well…"
The representative scratched his head awkwardly.
How was he supposed to know? Greeza and Shining Tiga had never fought in any story!
"If we wrote such a plot," said an older, more experienced M Company staffer, "then yes, it would usually end with Tiga winning."
Because Ultraman's power is fundamentally willpower-based.
In the story, if he can't win—then he just will win, by sheer determination.
Like when X fought Greeza—X actually died, yet was resurrected on the spot by Daichi and everyone's memories.
"But you've never actually written a story of Tiga vs. Greeza!"
Someone pointed out in frustration.
Everyone's heads began to ache. It seemed, for now, they could only hope for a miracle.
Then—
"Write!"
A voice suddenly rang out.
The representative from Huaxia had stood up, eyes blazing.
"What?"
Everyone turned, confused.
"I said—write!" the Huaxia delegate repeated firmly. "Right now. Immediately."
"You, M Company—write a story this instant where Ultraman Tiga utterly defeats Greeza!"
