Zog was still in its angelic form—its first form.
Its second form was a massive, ferocious monster. Belial had once used that second form of Zog, fusing it with the Five Emperor Kings to become Chimeraberos.
Blinded by rage, Angel Zog charged at Yu Zhou, maintaining its first, angelic form.
As it approached, its eyes fired lasers aimed directly at him.
A thought flickered in Yu Zhou's mind. Light energy enveloped his entire body, forming a shimmering shield. The lasers struck this protective barrier but failed to pierce through.
Closing in on Zog, Yu Zhou's fist glimmered with light before smashing into the creature.
Zog hadn't expected the golden giant before it to possess such strength.
With a sharp, piercing cry, Zog was sent flying backward, crashing into a passing meteorite.
The meteorite resembled a monster—one of Sphere's fused creatures, petrified by Gatanozoa.
Boom! The petrified creature was instantly shattered by Zog's impact, halting its backward momentum.
"Ah… an interesting opponent."
Nearby, the little yellow minion, Etelgar, watched the battle and muttered aloud.
"Shining…. Zeperion Beam!"
Stretching its hands back and forth, light particles from all directions converged at Yu Zhou's multi-coloured timer.
Angel Zog assumed a defensive stance, preparing to block Yu Zhou's attack.
But unexpectedly, Yu Zhou changed direction mid-movement. His arms formed an L-shape, unleashing a powerful golden beam.
Boom!
Alien Empera, locked in combat with Belial, was suddenly struck by this golden light.
Caught completely off guard, Empera trembled as Yu Zhou's Shining Zeperion beam pounded his chest.
"You…"
The light struck relentlessly, Empera pointing a finger as if to shout back at the golden giant—but it had no time.
Belial stepped forward, extending the Ultimate Battler and firing a devastating bolt of lightning at Empera.
"Ughhh!!!"
Empera's roar of defiance ended in a massive explosion, fire and sparks erupting across the battlefield.
No one had anticipated this.
The little yellow minion had just redefined the golden Ultraman before it—shameless.
For Etelgar, a slightly gentlemanly cosmic being, this kind of combat was downright rogue.
"Well done!"
Belial, hoisting the Ultimate Battler, approached Yu Zhou with a wicked grin.
"Your light annoys me, but I admire your… underhanded tactics."
Patting Yu Zhou on the shoulder, Belial lifted his weapon and grinned.
"This is called brains and brawn, my friend."
Yu Zhou couldn't help but be slightly speechless. True, ambushing Empera wasn't exactly honourable.
But when dealing with invaders, fairness went out the window. Kill them however you can.
Yu Zhou didn't attack Angel Zog first, instead aiding Belial against Empera to free Belial's hands for later.
It wasn't exactly helping—just mutual benefit.
Belial sought to assemble a dark army to invade the Land of Light, indifferent to this Earth from a parallel timeline.
Yu Zhou's goal was simply to expel the invaders from this world.
"Belial…"
Etelgar raised its arms, eyeing Belial as if to say something—but Yu Zhou dashed forward, cutting him off.
Belial turned his attention to another foe: the void entity, Greeza.
"Let's get rid of you first."
Etelgar, seeing Yu Zhou charge, decided to take him out before pursuing his own agenda.
Yu Zhou attacked because Etelgar tried to speak to Belial.
Being a Dark Messenger, Etelgar was dangerous—and with others like Fukuide K around, who knew what connections they had to Belial?
Greeza, another Dark Messenger, appeared less intelligent. Belial charged in to engage, but Greeza's void form made attacks less effective.
Etelgar wore heavy armour and didn't dare meet Yu Zhou's fist directly. Angel Zog's earlier defeat served as a warning.
One punch more would be foolish.
"If close combat fails, long-range it is."
Retreating while firing, Etelgar's red light flared, launching countless red energy orbs at Yu Zhou.
Yu Zhou, undeterred, advanced under his Shining Barrier, impervious to the projectiles.
"What?!"
Etelgar's surprise was evident. His attacks had no effect.
Melee failed. Ranged attacks failed. What now?
"Time to retreat!"
He attempted to withdraw, only to discover the temporal city he came with hadn't been transported. He had somehow arrived in this universe alone.
Lost in thought, he took a flying kick to the face from Yu Zhou.
The pink mask covering his fangs shattered, one tooth even knocked loose.
His head nearly twisted from the strike.
"Damn it!"
Showing his sharp teeth, Etelgar spat his anger at Yu Zhou and turned to flee.
Yu Zhou: "…Wait, you're just going to run? That's it?"
Who escapes after making threats? Boring.
Etelgar attempted to enter a dark-red wormhole, but it seemed unstable.
"Can't go back?!"
This was a first for him—stranded in a universe he didn't arrive with, unable to return.
His temporal city hadn't arrived, nor had the Ultramen sealed within it.
Boom!
Yu Zhou unleashed a golden light punch into Etelgar's back, sending him plummeting deep into space.
