Chapter 396 - Chapter 395 — Belial vs. Emperor!

The relationship between Belial and the Emperor of Darkness, Alien Empera, was… complicated.

Before Belial fell into darkness, he had once fought on the side of the Land of Light, taking part in the great war against Empera's army.

It was during that war, facing an opponent he couldn't overcome, that Belial developed a desperate desire for greater power.

Later, that thirst for strength led him to approach the Plasma Spark Tower, which ultimately caused his banishment from the Land of Light… and his possession by the spirit of the Reiblood.

Even more, Belial's soul was once sealed inside the Dark Armor created by Empera himself—thus becoming Kaiser Belial.

Finally, in the world of Ultraman Geed, through his "Fusion Rise: Demoniac Release," he absorbed the genes of both Empera and Dark Lugiel, transforming into Ultimate Belial.

But this Belial, the one who appeared in Yu Zhou's world right now—no one knew from which timeline he had come.

Judging from his current condition, Yu Zhou guessed that this version of Belial was one from before his invasion of the Land of Light.

"An Ultra from the Land of Light?"

The Emperor, having just emerged from the spatial vortex, fixed his piercing gaze upon the massive, black-and-red figure floating before him—and then noticed Yu Zhou standing nearby.

"Well, well," Empera said with a disdainful sneer. "I never thought an Ultraman from the Land of Light would become a lapdog of darkness."

"Die!"

Belial could not stand such mockery. Fuelled by both old hatred and fresh rage, he charged forward.

With a violent swing, his Giga Battlenizer struck Empera's body—only for the sound of clashing metal to echo through space.

"Damn you… damn you! DAMN YOU!!"

Belial went berserk, hammering Empera again and again with the Giga Battlenizer, the memories of his past flooding back—the rejection, the betrayal, the bitterness.

He had sought greater power to defeat beings like Empera!

So why? Why had the Land of Light cast him out?

He had fought for them, suffered for them—was this how they repaid him?

Was wanting power… really a sin?

"Today… I'll prove them all wrong!"

A blinding flash surged from Belial's body as two spectral forms appeared—one of his original Ultraman self, the other of a Reiblood. The two fused together once more, igniting his fury even higher.

He struck faster, harder, more violently—each blow shaking the void.

The Emperor stood his ground, unmoving, as the Giga Battlenizer's relentless strikes rang out against his golden-black armour.

Even after enduring such punishment, Empera stood as if nothing had touched him.

"He's that strong?"

Yu Zhou couldn't help but stare in disbelief. Empera's strength truly lived up to the legends.

But then again, this was the being who had created the Dark Armor that once held Belial's soul. His own cloak of darkness must be forged from something far beyond ordinary power.

Empera finally moved—almost casually. With a wave of his hand, a black energy blade formed and slashed toward Belial.

Belial raised his Nizer to block, but the sheer force of the strike still sent him flying backward through the void.

"An Emperor like you…" Belial roared, eyes blazing crimson, "can never surpass me!"

A phantom of the Reiblood flared behind him. With an enraged bellow, he charged again, Giga Battlenizer crackling with crimson lightning.

Feeling the immense pressure of this attack, Empera crossed his armoured arms to defend.

The Nizer slammed into his guard, sparks exploding in every direction—

Zzzzt…!

A hiss of black smoke rose where the weapon struck. For the first time, Empera's arm showed signs of actual damage.

"Two overlords of the cosmos," Yu Zhou murmured, half amused, half in awe. "I wonder who's stronger."

He honestly wanted to find a spot, sit down, and snack while watching this cosmic showdown.

Over there, Gatanothor was still locked in combat with the Sphere Black Hole.

And now, here, Belial and Empera were tearing each other apart.

Two epic battles happening at once. All Yu Zhou needed now were some sunflower seeds, a drink, and a seat with a view.

Empera—the Emperor of Darkness, the ruler of the universe, the first to ever invade the Land of Light.

And within Belial's body, the Reibloods—the ancient race that had once dominated the galaxy for millennia, spreading despair across the stars.

Even the Yapool and the Glass-Cleaning Aliens (yes, even them) feared their names.

When two cosmic tyrants clash, only one can remain standing.

Naturally, Yu Zhou was rooting for Belial to win—after all, Belial's current plan was to "recruit" all the other dark beings and take them with him when he left.

Still, it was a relief that Belial had shown up to fight Empera—otherwise Yu Zhou had no clue how he'd deal with that monster himself.

"So many final bosses showing up one after another…" Yu Zhou sighed.

And what really worried him now was what might come next.

Gatanothor, the Sphere, Belial, and now Empera—if more of the most dangerous foes from the Ultraman universe began crossing over… what kind of nightmare would that be?

Meanwhile, during the brief lull caused by the monsters' infighting, the nations of Earth seized the moment. Governments around the world urgently convened a global emergency summit.

This meeting was special—because for the first time, Mogu Company was forcibly invited to attend.

Frankly, Mogu Company had no interest in joining such discussions.

They weren't the ones who unleashed these monsters, and they had no way to stop them either. Being there only meant fielding pointless questions.

But to their shock, the real reason they were summoned… was to act as strategic advisors!

After all, the monsters currently rampaging across the world had originally been created by Mogu's own scriptwriters—no one knew their abilities and backstories better.

When the chief writer of Ultraman Tiga, Chi Chu, explained that "Gatanothor doesn't exist as a single entity—there are actually many of them,"

the entire conference room exploded.

"What?! One is already bad enough—there are more?!"

"Are you kidding me!?"

"Goodbye, humanity!"

"God help us!"

"But don't panic," Chi Chu added quickly. "According to the lore, the Gatanothors live only in the Zoth Dark Galaxy, not on Earth."

Hearing that, the delegates all exhaled in unison.

"Oh, thank heavens."

"I almost fainted."

"At least they're not here…"

"We must've done something terribly wrong to deserve this nightmare."

"Hah… hah… okay, we're fine. We're fine…"

A brief, fragile calm returned to the room.

But then Chi Chu hesitated. "Uh… there's one more thing…"

Seeing him falter, someone encouraged him:

"It's all right, Mr. Chi Chu. Please, go on."

"…All right," he sighed, bracing himself. "But don't be afraid when I say this."

Everyone nodded nervously.

"Gatanothor…" he said slowly, "has siblings."

The room fell completely silent.

Everyone: "…"
