Chapter 368 - Chapter 367. Return!!!

Inside the black hole, everything was void—an endless nothingness that somehow also felt like an invisible corridor, a swirling passage that carried all the debris, fragments, and beings it had swallowed.

"Camearra…"

Connected by the golden whip, Yuzhou and Camearra slowly drifted toward one another in that formless tunnel.

At last, their hands clasped together.

Yuzhou had never imagined he'd be dragged into the explosion of the black hole himself—nor that Camearra would risk everything to follow him into it.

As for Asuka, Yuzhou hadn't seen him anywhere in this endless void.

After all, Asuka had been sucked in alone, while he and Camearra were linked by the golden whip.

Still, Yuzhou wasn't worried.

He knew Asuka would survive. He always did.

"Where do you think this tunnel leads?"

Camearra asked softly, holding tightly to his hand as she stared into the boundless darkness that stretched without end.

"If nothing goes wrong… probably another universe," Yuzhou replied after a brief thought.

"Another universe, huh? That's fine with me."

Camearra smiled faintly. "As long as you're with me, I don't care where we end up."

Yuzhou couldn't help but laugh quietly.

For her, the idea of drifting through the dimensions as some kind of space-time couple didn't sound bad at all.

"Camearra…"

He pulled her gently into his arms, and at that moment, the golden whip faded away, dissolving under her will.

He didn't want her to suffer any more because of him.

The endless void stretched on forever—no sense of time, no direction.

But having Camearra beside him filled Yuzhou's heart with warmth.

A selfish kind of comfort, perhaps… but comfort nonetheless.

After some discussion, the two shrank their forms down to human size—to conserve energy.

There were still a few mini Plasma Sparks that Masaki had made stored in Yuzhou's space bracelet, but now was not the time to use them.

And so, their long voyage through nothingness began.

Hand in hand, sometimes side by side, sometimes embraced—they drifted with the tides of distorted time and space.

Here, there was no concept of time.

No past. No future.

Only the eternal now.

After what felt like both a moment and an eternity, Yuzhou suddenly sensed something—

a powerful spatial fluctuation, breaking through the chaotic currents and rushing toward them.

"This feeling… I know this feeling!"

Yuzhou's eyes widened in recognition. He squeezed Camearra's hand.

Then, in the midst of the void, where there had been nothing—

a spatial vortex suddenly burst open, pulling them toward it with tremendous force.

"Camearra! Hold on to me!"

Yuzhou's heart raced with excitement.

He knew this power—it was the same kind of wormhole that had once connected different worlds.

To open a space-time gate inside the void itself… this was incredible.

"What is that?"

Camearra asked, bewildered but still gripping his hand tightly.

After everything they'd been through, she could not—would not—let him go again.

"It's… our way home!"

Without resistance, Yuzhou wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.

The vortex's pull intensified, swallowing them both.

And just like that, the swirling rift closed, vanishing from the void as though it had never existed.

As for Asuka, the currents of space-time carried him elsewhere—

into a parallel world of his own.

A small, weathered house somewhere on Earth.

A swirl of seven-coloured light appeared out of thin air—

and two figures fell out of it.

Still in his Tiga form, Yuzhou looked around, startled.

Was this… really the first time he'd come back like this?

"Ahh… solid ground! That feels so good!"

He laughed as he released his transformation, finally standing on firm earth again.

After drifting endlessly through the void, even the dirt beneath his feet felt like paradise.

Camearra followed suit, also reverting to her human form—a young woman.

Or rather… a girl.

Because of Yuzhou's own youthful appearance, Camearra had deliberately adjusted hers to match him.

She might have lived thirty million years, but she didn't feel old at all.

To live again, free, as a girl by his side—what could be better than that?

The only issue… her outfit.

It was still the same elegant white gown she had worn in the palace of R'lyeh—flowing and regal, like something from a medieval princess.

Gorgeous, yes. But in this world, far too conspicuous.

Yuzhou took one look and sighed.

Yeah, they'd have to fix that fast.

"Camearra," he said, hugging her gently, breathing in her faint, familiar scent.

"Let's go buy you some new clothes."

"All right," she replied with a soft smile.

The idea of shopping together with Yuzhou made her heart quietly bloom, though she didn't show too much of it on her face.

Without waiting for her to change, Yuzhou took her by the hand and led her outside.

Money wasn't an issue anymore—Yuzhou had more than enough wealth stashed away.

The problem was transportation. He hadn't bought a new car since his off-roader had been blown up in Orb's world.

"Well, no helping it. Let's grab a cab."

He hailed a taxi on the street, standing beside the radiant, princess-like Camearra—

drawing more than a few stares from passersby.

Camearra's beauty was so dazzling that it turned heads instantly.

And standing next to her, in his ordinary, cheap-looking streetwear, Yuzhou looked… well, painfully average.

People whispered.

"How did that guy land a goddess like her?"

"No way, he must be rich."

"Rich? Look at his clothes!"

"Then what, he's just lucky?!"

"Tch. Life's unfair."

Yuzhou heard every word—his hearing had grown sharper since becoming Tiga.

He smiled faintly and said nothing.

But Camearra… wasn't as patient.

She raised her hand slightly, gathering a tiny sphere of light in her palm, ready to blast the insolent humans where they stood.

Yuzhou immediately grabbed her hand, sweating a little.

"Calm down, Camearra," he whispered, pulling her into the taxi.

"They're not worth it."

"…Fine."

If it were anyone else, she might not have listened.

But Yuzhou's words… she always listened.

In this world, Yuzhou was the only one she had left—

her only family.

"Where to, miss?"

The taxi driver asked cheerfully, smiling right at Camearra—

completely ignoring Yuzhou.

Yuzhou sighed inwardly.

Yep. Some things never change.
