Chapter 347 - Chapter 346 – The Fate of the Time-Space Fortress

The time-space shuttle that Gamu built was… well, completely unpredictable.

When he first used it to reach the world of the Super Dimensional Battle, it was only possible because of a novel he had brought back from that dimension — serving as the medium for the connection.

So, Masaki's deep fascination with the technology made perfect sense.

After all, he was a physicist — the very man obsessed with creating the Plasma Spark Tower.

After their brief conversation, everyone released their transformations and returned to their human forms.

"Hello, I'm Takayama Gamu," said Gamu with a warm smile. "Just call me Gamu."

"Nice to meet you," replied Masaki Keigo, stepping forward to shake his hand.

He then took the time to introduce Gamu to Yu Zhou, Asuka, and the others.

Once the introductions were done, Yu Zhou looked toward Masaki.

"So, Masaki… what's your plan for this Time-Space Fortress?"

That was the question hanging over everyone's minds.

The fortress — powerful beyond comprehension — could either bring fortune or disaster to humanity, depending on whose hands controlled it.

It had to be handled carefully.

If the wrong people got their hands on it, like ambitious schemers or reckless military officials, the consequences could be catastrophic.

"To be honest," Masaki admitted after a short pause, "I haven't really thought that far ahead. I just didn't want something so incredible to be destroyed."

He turned the question back. "What about you, Yu Zhou? Do you have a plan?"

Yu Zhou rubbed his chin, thinking.

The fortress was too massive — bringing it with him was impossible.

It would be better to leave it here, in this world, as a source of progress and protection for Earth.

But to make that a beneficial reality would take careful planning.

The first question: who should hold authority over it?

The second: how should it be used — and who could be trusted to study it responsibly?

Finally, Yu Zhou spoke.

"In my opinion, the Time-Space Fortress shouldn't be placed completely in the hands of the current human leadership."

His tone grew serious. "There are too many with dangerous ambitions — people who would misuse this power."

Masaki nodded immediately. "I've been thinking the same thing. You're right."

He turned to Daigo. "What about you, Daigo?"

"I agree with Yu Zhou," said Daigo after a moment's thought.

Though he was part of TPC, he was well aware of its internal politics and the power struggles that lingered behind the scenes.

He simply chose not to get involved in them.

Just as Yu Zhou was about to continue, Asuka suddenly raised his hand.

"Hey, senpai! You didn't ask for my opinion yet!"

Yu Zhou blinked. "…Alright, Asuka. What do you think?"

"I think you're totally right!" Asuka replied enthusiastically.

"…And?"

"That's it."

Yu Zhou sighed. "That's it?"

"That's it," Asuka repeated with a grin.

"…" Yu Zhou facepalmed, unsure whether to laugh or cry.

"Anyway," Yu Zhou said, regaining composure. "I think it's best if the Time-Space Fortress remains under the guardianship of the Giants of Light."

He looked around at everyone. "Or better yet, we could model it after the Land of Light — make this fortress a base to form an organization like the Intergalactic Defence Force."

"The Intergalactic Defence Force?!" Asuka's eyes lit up instantly.

"That's the organization that protects the whole universe! You mean… Earth could have something like that too?!"

Before Yu Zhou could answer, Camearra shot him a sharp glare.

"Another defence force?" she said dryly.

Yu Zhou scratched his head awkwardly.

Right — back in the ancient era, Earth did have a defence group… and its leader was Yuzare.

No wonder Camearra was upset.

He cleared his throat. "Ahem… of course, we're nowhere near the strength of the Land of Light. Maybe… we could start smaller — something like a Solar System Defence Force?"

Masaki mulled it over and nodded. "That might actually work.

If we use the Time-Space Fortress as the foundation, I could even integrate a prototype Plasma Spark Core into it — make the fortress a true beacon of light."

But Asuka suddenly asked a practical question.

"If we're forming an organization like that… who's going to be in charge?"

Everyone paused. A leader was indeed necessary.

Masaki was the first to answer. "I think Yu Zhou should take that role."

He smiled. "I'm too busy with research. You, on the other hand, have the strength and the experience to handle it."

Yu Zhou immediately shook his head. "I can't. I'll be returning to my own world soon."

Asuka's face fell. "You're leaving again, senpai?"

Yu Zhou looked at him. "…Why does that sound so weird when you say it?"

Daigo, however, caught the important part. "You're going back already?"

Yu Zhou gave a small, distant smile, gazing up at the sky.

"Soon. There are… things waiting for me back home."

He didn't say it aloud, but the thought of the coming catastrophe in his world weighed heavily on him.

At that moment, Camearra stepped closer and clasped his hand tightly.

"When you go," she said firmly, "you're taking me with you."

Yu Zhou hesitated for a long moment before answering softly,

"…I will."

He could feel the warmth of her hand — the sincerity of her words.

But deep down, he wondered: if his world truly was on the brink of ruin, could he really bear to take her into that danger?

"I'll protect you," he said at last, looking into her bright, starlit eyes.

"No matter what happens."
