Yuzhou recalled that in his own world, there was a certain dubbed version where Ultraman Tiga was called Ultraman Dika.
The pronunciation between "Dika" and "Tiga" was slightly different, but close enough.
"Alright then, let's just call him Giant Mountain Super Power Dika!" Yuzhou nodded, turning to Asuka.
"That's fine, but—wait, what's with that weird prefix, 'Giant Mountain Super Power'?!"
Asuka was at first pleased that his senior used the name he gave, but now he was confused.
ROAR!
A deafening roar cut off their exchange. Both Yuzhou and Asuka looked up simultaneously to see Five King beating its wings furiously, diving toward them at full speed.
Behind it, on Zoiger's back, Charija was still firing his strange capsule-launching gun in relentless pursuit.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The capsule bullets rained down like machine-gun fire, and this time, one struck Five King squarely.
A flash of light—Five King was absorbed into the capsule, which trembled violently in midair.
"Charija, if this one fails again, stop throwing them," Yuzhou called out, approaching him. "You could at least wait until I've worn it down first."
"This time, it will work!" Charija said determinedly, his eyes fixed on the shaking capsule. "I refuse to believe I can't catch it!"
Crack!
The moment he finished speaking, the capsule exploded in midair.
A streak of light fell from above and reformed into the towering Five King once again.
"Uh…"
Charija was speechless. It seemed that catching Five King alive was far harder than he'd hoped.
"Asuka—let's go!"
Yuzhou gave the signal and charged forward.
"Right!" Asuka nodded, leaping into action. But before engaging, he paused for a split second and switched from his Miracle Type to Shining Type, then lunged into battle.
Five King, already in a state of pure rage, glared at them with glowing red eyes. Having been chased endlessly by Charija, it was itching to vent its fury.
Gor-Zoiger Cannon!
Energy gathered at the crown of Five King's head, and in a flash, a massive orange beam laced with crackling lightning and red-hot fireballs erupted toward Yuzhou and Asuka.
The destructive power was enough to make even giants hesitate.
Yuzhou quickly noticed the reddish fireballs swirling within the beam.
He remembered—this used to be the Gor-Melba Cannon, a combination of Golza and Melba's powers.
Now that Zoiger's body had replaced Melba's, it had evolved into the Gor-Zoiger Cannon.
"Dodge!"
With a shout, Yuzhou flipped backward, evading the oncoming torrent.
Asuka, hearing the warning, mirrored his move and narrowly escaped the blast as well.
"Zoiger, fire a Flame Bomb!"
From above, Charija aimed his gun and issued a command.
Zoiger responded instantly, launching a blazing fireball straight at Five King.
BOOM!
The explosion hit Five King right on the head, interrupting its energy flow mid-attack.
Unfortunately, that only succeeded in drawing its wrath.
Five King turned its attention upward, abandoning its previous targets. If it was going to vent its anger, why not on the annoying insect in the sky?
Meanwhile, Yuzhou and Asuka had landed and unleashed quick ranged attacks at its chest—light bursts, meant to distract it.
But Five King didn't even flinch. It simply turned its massive body and pointed both arms—each bearing a head resembling King Guesra—toward Charija.
BOOM! BOOM!
Twin jets of high-pressure water blasted from its palms, streaking into the sky.
Charija barely had time to react. The twin torrents slammed into him, sending both him and Zoiger tumbling through the air under the immense force.
"Senior, is he okay?!"
Asuka looked worried—after all, Charija was Yuzhou's ally, or at least on their side.
"He'll live," Yuzhou replied calmly. "He's tough."
Then, quietly, he began to advance toward Five King again.
Asuka followed cautiously, unsure what his senior planned this time.
Five King, consumed with hatred, kept its gaze skyward, watching to see if Charija would crash or crawl back up.
That was when Yuzhou raised a hand, and golden light began to pour from his palm, gradually enveloping the monster from behind.
The radiant energy wrapped Five King completely—from back to chest, from head to tail, until its entire body shimmered gold.
Surprisingly, the creature didn't resist. It stood still as the red in its eyes slowly faded, replaced by calm blue.
"You even purified the monster!"
Asuka was astonished. He'd thought the purifying light was only for beings like the fake Tiga, not for giant beasts!
When the golden glow finally dispersed, Yuzhou quickly stepped back.
He knew the truth—Five King wasn't like the fake Tiga. Even if it had been purified, it was still, at its core, a monster.
It could attack again at any time.
"Senior, you're incredible! You can even purify kaiju!"
Asuka, unaware of the danger, relaxed completely.
He even walked right up to Five King, reached out, and patted its enormous head.
"Senior, you know—this monster's head is surprisingly smooth!"
Yuzhou: "…"
"Asuka, get back—now!"
BAM!!!
A single punch from Five King sent Asuka flying like a comet.
Yuzhou's warning came a moment too late. At that distance, it was nearly impossible to dodge.
Five-in-One Ultimate Beam!
As Asuka went tumbling through the air, Five King began charging energy all over its body, merging five different coloured lights into one massive beam.
"Not good!"
Yuzhou gritted his teeth and sprinted forward, placing himself between Asuka and the monster.
He swung his arms downward, channelling energy from all directions into the colour timer at his chest.
Powerful Zeperion Beam!
The moment Five King's attack fired, Yuzhou unleashed his own.
The two beams collided midair, locking together in a blinding storm of energy.
BOOOOOOOM!!!
The ground trembled. Light waves exploded outward.
For a long moment, neither side gained the upper hand. Their powers were perfectly matched.
But Yuzhou knew one ancient truth about beam clashes—
Since ancient times… the left side always loses.
