Chapter 82 - Chapter 82. Super-Dimensional Final Battle

"Light—ahhhhhhh!"

The moment everyone was thrown out of the wormhole, a booming cry rang out. With that cry, they were all forcibly transformed.

By the time they regained their senses, they were already in their giant forms, standing upon solid ground.

Daigo, now transformed as Ultraman Tiga, held a few children in his arms. Another Ultraman, also holding children, stood beside him—Ultraman Dyna.

"Eh? Dyna??"

Yuzhou froze. There had only been a handful of them, so why was Dyna suddenly here?

"Yuzhou-senpai! Daigo-senpai!"

After setting the kids safely on the ground, Dyna turned, his voice full of surprise at the sight of a group of Ultras beside him.

The lineup stood awkwardly:

Dyna, Tiga, Cain, another Tiga, Camearra, Hudra, and Darramb.

"Senpai, you're here too!" Dyna looked at the group, quickly realizing something and blurting it out.

"Senpai?" Daigo and Seiji Masaki both blinked, confused. A stranger Ultraman had appeared, calling them seniors?

"We were pulled in by a wormhole," Yuzhou explained calmly. He had seen Dyna before in the Mega Monster Battle world, so he knew this day would come. Judging from the way Dyna addressed them, this version of Asuka must be from some future time where he already knew them.

"Light…"

The children on the ground beamed with joy. They didn't understand why there were suddenly two Tigas, but that hardly mattered—what mattered was that the crisis might finally be over.

Everyone turned their gaze to the battlefield ahead, where another Ultra was desperately fighting three kaiju. His chest timer was already flashing red.

Only Yuzhou recognized him at first glance—Ultraman Gaia.

"…So this is where we are." Yuzhou frowned. After thinking it through, he realized: this was the world of Ultraman Tiga & Dyna: Warriors of the Star of Light—the "Super-Dimensional Final Battle."

In that story, a boy named Tsutomu discovered a red sphere that could grant wishes. With it, he summoned Gamu (Gaia's host) into this world. But the sphere was later stolen by three other kids, who foolishly summoned monsters instead. The red sphere amplified their desires, corrupting them, and ultimately birthed three rampaging kaiju.

In the climax, Tsutomu used the sphere again—summoning Tiga and Dyna to aid Gaia.

Yuzhou hadn't expected that this Tiga was Daigo himself, summoned straight into the movie's plot, and that Dyna was Asuka crossing time. Even more unexpectedly, their wormhole had dragged himself and his companions along.

"Well… at least this isn't my own world," Yuzhou exhaled in relief.

This "movie world" mirrored reality to an uncanny degree—it even contained the same Ultraman shows Yuzhou's Earth did. Which left him wondering: What would Daigo or Asuka think if they learned they were characters in a TV drama?

…Probably very complicated feelings.

Shaking the thought away, Yuzhou's gaze returned to Gaia. He was seconds away from defeat.

"Let's move!" Yuzhou barked, charging forward.

The others didn't hesitate. Eight Ultras stormed the battlefield together.

The three kaiju—Scylla, Basilis, and Obsmonz—roared defiantly. Yuzhou remembered vaguely that two of them had split off from Obsmonz itself.

Seriously… even their names sound like the kind of thing that would make Orb's host, Gai, want to punch someone, Yuzhou muttered inwardly.

He rushed to Gaia's side, helping him up.

"You okay?"

"I'll live." Gaia nodded, regaining his stance. The sight of so many Ultras gave him renewed confidence.

"Then let's finish this."

Side by side, the eight giants clashed with the three kaiju. It was a one-sided brawl—the monsters barely had a chance to breathe. Unlike the original battle, where Tiga fought at sea and Dyna in space, these monsters never got the chance to retreat.

Eventually, the Ultras pulled back in unison, gathered their energy, and unleashed a barrage of beams.

Eight lights crashed into three monsters—utter annihilation. Fire and ash filled the sky before fading into nothingness.

"We won!"

"Ultraman won!"

"Awesome!!"

The children on the ground erupted into cheers, jumping and clapping.

Gaia reverted to Gamu, collapsing to his knees in exhaustion. The boy Tsutomu ran up, hugging him tightly in relief.

The rest of the Ultras returned to human form as well.

"Yuzhou-senpai! Daigo-senpai! Masaki-senpai!" Asuka, back in his TPC uniform, rushed over, overjoyed. "It really is you!"

"…Wait, you are?" Daigo blinked in confusion.

"I'm Asuka! You don't remember me?" Asuka tilted his head, baffled.

Daigo and Masaki exchanged looks. They had never seen this boy before.

Yuzhou stepped in. "Asuka, listen carefully. The us standing before you now—we're from before the time you knew us."

"…Before?" Asuka thought for a moment, then his eyes lit up with understanding. "I get it."

"Oh?" Masaki raised a brow. "So this junior—he's someone we'll meet in the future?"

"Exactly." Yuzhou nodded.

"But Yuzhou, how do you already know that?" Daigo asked, clearly puzzled. "Aren't we from the same time?"

"Uh…" Yuzhou choked on his words. How was he supposed to explain he knew because of TV shows?

"Forget it. Just accept it for now," he muttered, waving it off.

At that moment, one of the girls walked up to Tsutomu, who stood hesitantly in front of the red sphere.

"You're going to use the sphere's power to rebuild the city?" she asked softly.

Yuzhou's eyes narrowed. He studied both the orb and the girl.

This girl… she's the red sphere itself incarnated.

Which also meant she wasn't the same as the red-dressed girl he had encountered before. Another piece of the puzzle fell into place.

Still, curiosity gnawed at him. He leaned down and asked, "Little one, do you happen to know a girl your age… wearing a red dress?"

The girl blinked in surprise at the sudden question. After a pause, she shook her head. "No… I don't."
