Chapter 80 - Chapter 80 – Success

"You've violated the M78 Space Guard Code!"

"Come quietly with us!"

The Original Ultraman rushed forward and grabbed Zero by the shoulder. Moments later, Zoffy flew up from the base of the Plasma Spark Tower, his expression grim as he joined the Original in restraining the younger warrior.

"It's unfortunate," Zoffy said with a stern voice. "But from this moment, you have lost the right to call yourself an Ultra Warrior."

Seven stood silently, watching his son being dragged away in disgrace. His head lowered, his body heavy with disappointment.

"What a fool," he muttered under his breath. "He doesn't understand our intentions at all." With a sigh, he turned and left, no longer interested in witnessing the ritual of transforming the Dark Giants.

Yu Zhou stood awkwardly, glancing at the imposing King of Ultra. He didn't know what to say.

The King shook his head lightly. "I'm sorry you had to see that. With his body, he could never withstand the power of the Plasma Spark."

"Then… how do you expect Camearra and the others to endure such overwhelming energy?" Yu Zhou asked, puzzled.

"Through you," the King answered, fixing his gaze firmly on him. "You carry within you an energy that shares its origin with the Plasma Spark. That resonance makes you capable of enduring and serving as a medium of transmission."

Yu Zhou blinked, taken aback. So he knows… Truly, the King of Ultra was worthy of being one of the legendary Four Mysterious Ultras. Since he had seen through it, there was no point in hiding. Yu Zhou nodded. "Yes. I can handle it."

"Then approach the Plasma Spark core," the King instructed. "Extend your hand."

Yu Zhou stepped forward. Camearra was motioned to stand beside him.

"Alright…" He hesitated. In another world, he had tried the same gesture, but nothing had happened. Still, he followed instructions and raised his hand toward the blinding core.

Nothing. No response.

Yu Zhou frowned, then without thinking, pushed his hand directly into the Plasma Spark itself.

"Wait—! I didn't tell you to put your hand inside!" the King exclaimed in alarm.

"Eh? Why does that sound so familiar…?" Yu Zhou muttered. Warm energy coursed up his arm, surprisingly gentle. He glanced back with a strange sense of déjà vu at the King's shout.

But to the King's astonishment, Yu Zhou remained completely unharmed.

"…So it's because your energy truly shares a source with the Spark," the King murmured. "Remarkable."

Yu Zhou smiled faintly. "Then, shall we begin?"

Following the King's guidance, he let the Spark's energy pour into his body. His other hand glowed brilliantly as he pressed it against Camearra's Color Timer, channeling the light into her core.

"How does it feel?" he asked her.

Camearra's voice trembled with awe. "The darkness in me… it's being washed away. The light you're sending in is colliding with it, dissolving it."

"Exactly as it should." The King nodded with approval. "First, purge the darkness. Then, restore with light."

Time passed—hours of steady transmission. At last, Camearra's Color Timer flickered, changing hue.

"That's it," the King declared. "Now infuse her anew."

Yu Zhou thrust both hands into the Spark's core, drawing out a sphere of radiant energy. He pressed it into his own chest before guiding its golden brilliance into Camearra.

Her form shifted. The black streaks on her body faded to shining silver. Her once sharp, burning orange eyes softened into a gentle pearl-white. Her Color Timer steadied to a calm, azure glow.

Yu Zhou exhaled deeply. "It worked… She's truly become a Giant of Light."

Camearra flexed her arms, astonishment in her voice. "So this… is the power of light."

"Congratulations," the King said gravely.

"Alright then—your turn, Hudra, Darramb." Yu Zhou beckoned the other two Dark Giants.

They exchanged a look, then stepped forward. Though their darkness wasn't as deeply rooted as Camearra's, it was still significant. One by one, Yu Zhou cleansed and reborn them through the same process.

Hudra's silver-and-purple body shed its black markings, leaving sleek silver accents. Darramb's darker tones melted away into bright argent armor.

When it was finished, Yu Zhou staggered slightly, fatigue setting in.

"You alright? Overexerted?" the King asked.

Yu Zhou shook his head with a small smile. "Not exhaustion. If anything, this process strengthened me as well. I gained something from it."

Camearra caught him by the arm, steadying him with unusual gentleness. "You've worked hard."

This time, Yu Zhou didn't brush her hand away. He let her support him… though, faintly, he thought of a certain "tonic" from Earth, and nearly laughed to himself.

"Daigo! Masaki!"

He waved to his companions as they returned.

"You… you succeeded!" Daigo gasped, eyes widening at the transformed trio.

"That's right." Yu Zhou's face broke into a rare grin. Completing this task left him with an unexplainable sense of release, as if a knot within him had finally come undone.

Daigo smiled as well, relief shining in his eyes. As Tiga's host, he felt comforted—finally, the legacy of those ancient Dark Giants had been redeemed.

The two then eagerly shared what they had learned about the Land of Light during their time exploring with Ace and Jack.

What astonished Masaki most was the history: the Ultras were once similar to humans. But after their "sun" vanished, their scientists created the Plasma Spark—an artificial sun. Its energy didn't just save their world; it triggered their evolution, granting them incredible power.

"So," Masaki said with burning eyes, "shouldn't we begin preparing a similar energy source for Earth? If the Ultras' sun could vanish, what if ours disappeared one day too?"

Yu Zhou narrowed his eyes. "Masaki, you're not falling back into your old thinking, are you? Trying to force human evolution?"

Masaki raised a hand to reassure him. "No. That extreme path is behind me. This is about prevention. If one day our sun were gone, humanity would need a safeguard against endless darkness."

Yu Zhou relaxed slightly. "Good. Just remember, the Land of Light likely won't share such secrets freely. If you want it, you'll have to figure it out yourself."

Not that they could easily replicate another Plasma Spark anyway, Yu Zhou thought privately. If they had spares, Belial wouldn't have been able to cause so much damage back then.

Masaki sighed. "Still… the scale of energy required must be unimaginable. Where on Earth could we find such a source?"

For now, the question remained unanswered.
