Getting out of bed the next day after everything was almost a difficult chore for me. I hadn't expected to sleep so well and wake up this late in the morning.
Sitting up on the bed, I drag my eyes over to Willa. She looks so peaceful asleep. Not a single hint of stress is on her face.
And somehow, this lightens my heart.
It was only last night she looked nothing of herself. But seeing how peaceful she looks now, my concerns can't help but weigh so little.
My eyes dart to the clock on the bedside table and I note the time; 11:47.
What about her? My subconscious instinctively asks before even I can process my own thoughts.
No, seriously, why does she keep invading my head?
Because of Willa's health, I've decided to stay away from Leiara. To not think about her or get involved with her in any way.
Willa is hurt as it is already. Too hurt, if I dare say.
