Thunder. The most violent elemental force in the world.
In terms of sheer destructive power, it was unmatched.
Those with Thunder Fruit abilities in this world were typically immune to electricity—but Sugisawa Yuuto's Lightning Dragon Slayer magic was different.
Facing pure evil like Arlong, Yuuto unleashed the full force of the Thunder Dragon Slayer magic. No mercy, no hesitation.
At his fingertips, the murloc Arlong was obliterated.
Under the power of ultimate thunder, his body charred to a coke-like black and shattered into pieces.
The sudden, shocking scene left everyone in the vicinity stunned and speechless.
No one knew how long they had stood frozen.
"Dead… dead!""Brother Arlong… he's… dead!""Killed by that human!""Ah… ahhh!""Monster! That guy's a monster!""Run! Get out of here!"
Backed against Arlong, the once-tyrannical murlocs scattered like fallen leaves, fleeing in all directions.
"If I let you escape, the name of Fairy Tail will be dishonored," Yuuto said calmly.
Even as he spoke, light gleamed at his fingertips.
"Lightning Bomb!"
Tiny lightning bombs shot forth in rapid succession.
Boom! Rumble!
Horrific explosions tore through the air. In moments, Arlong's Paradise was reduced to charred ruins, the corpses of scorched murlocs scattered across the land.
"Humans… you really intend to kill us all?"
Croobi, one of the surviving murloc lieutenants, suppressed his fear and raised his voice.
"When you oppress the innocent and act recklessly, you should have expected a day like this!" Yuuto said coldly.
"Bastard… Murloc Fist… four thousand…"
Click!
A golden flash, and Croobi fell dead.
The next murloc lieutenant, Jiu, trembled in fear. Not daring to resist, he plunged into the sea without a second thought.
The remaining dozen or so murlocs followed suit.
In their minds, the sea was their domain. Humans could not chase them there.
Normally, they would be right—but today was different.
Yuuto plunged a hand into the water.
"Electric eels don't exist in my original world, but…"
Chi chi! Rumble!
A golden arc spread across the sea for thousands of meters.
Countless fish turned white and floated lifelessly to the surface.
Even the dozen fleeing murlocs—the group that had terrorized this sea region for eight years—disappeared.
On the bow of Fairy Tail, Nami clung to the rails, eyes wide in disbelief, watching the murlocs' destruction.
Arlong was dead. The tyrants who oppressed them were gone.
The villages were free.
In that moment, seven years of haze in Nami's life dissipated.
All seven years of grievances poured out. She removed her mask of strength and wept like a child.
"Miss Nami, it's alright!" Mirajane gently embraced her, soothing her softly."Cry, cry—it'll feel better once you've cried!"
Yuuto returned to the ship.
"Mira, I'll leave the aftermath to you for now. I have something else to handle," he said.
"President, hasn't Nami's commission been completed? What more is there to do?" Mirajane asked, puzzled.
"No. It's not done yet," Yuuto replied calmly.
With that, he vanished in a flash of lightning, leaving the scene behind.
Arlong and his gang were indeed executed—but collaborators remained.
The Marine scum, Colonel Rat, was still at large.
In Yuuto's mind, Nami was already part of Fairy Tail. Every member was family, and anyone who threatened them would pay the price.
East Blue—Marine Branch 166
"Ha ha ha ha!"
The mouse-eyed branch colonel laughed maniacally, surveying his amassed wealth in the vault.
Since collaborating with Arlong's gang, he had left behind a life of meager pay and was now living like a rich man.
Though he knew such acts were a serious crime for a Marine, he also knew the higher-ups were far away. As long as he kept quiet and his subordinates stayed loyal, no one in the distant headquarters would know.
He twirled his whisker-like beard, excitement growing with each thought of his better life.
But suddenly, his body shuddered.
The bright future was overshadowed by the approach of death.
"What… what's happening?" he stammered, fear rising.
He rushed outside and raised his eyes.
A figure, brighter than the sun, hovered in the sky like a god descending to earth.
"This place is rotten to its core, beyond redemption. Since you couldn't see it, allow me to help!" Yuuto said coldly.
A quarter of an hour ago, he had already arrived. Marine Branch 166 was fully investigated.
From Colonel Rat down to ordinary sailors, no one had been spared if guilty.
Yuuto made no exceptions. A violent stream of lightning particles gathered in his palm, forming a concentrated sphere of thunder.
Thunder!
"Wait… wait a minute! Who… who are you?! This is Marine Base! What… what are you trying to do?!" Colonel Rat screamed in terror.
Yuuto ignored him.
In a flash, the ball of thunder fell.
Boom! Rumble!
