Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Lessons in Wind

The morning sun bathed the village of Konoha in a warm glow as Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, gathered his sons Naruto and Ryuga in their family's training grounds. Today marked a special occasion—their birthday—and Minato had a surprise in store for them. Ryuga's Birthday is decided to be the same as Naruto since his original birthday is unknown. Minato and Kushina decided to celebrate it at the same time as Naruto, this made the two brothers feel closer.

"Happy birthday, Naruto and Ryuga," Minato said with a smile, presenting each of them with a small scroll tied with a red ribbon. "I have a special gift for you both."

Excited, Naruto and Ryuga eagerly unwrapped their scrolls, their eyes widening in anticipation. Inside were detailed instructions for the Rasengan—the legendary A-ranked jutsu Minato himself had invented.

"Wow, Rasengan!" Naruto exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Thanks, Dad!"

Ryuga nodded, a determined look on his face. "I'll master this jutsu, Father. You'll see."

With Minato's guidance, Naruto and Ryuga began their training, channeling their chakra and attempting to form the Rasengan. But despite their determination, the complex nature of the jutsu proved too difficult for them to grasp at their young age.

Days turned into weeks, and still, Naruto and Ryuga struggled to make progress with the Rasengan. Kushina, watching from a distance, grew increasingly concerned.

"Minato, you're pushing them too hard," she scolded, her voice tinged with worry. "They're just children. They need to focus on mastering the basics first."

Minato sighed, realizing his mistake. "You're right, Kushina. I got carried away with teaching them such an advanced jutsu."

Determined to make amends, Minato shifted his approach. Instead of focusing on the Rasengan, he began teaching Naruto and Ryuga simpler wind-based jutsu, such as Wind Release: Gale Palm and Wind Release: Great Breakthrough—C-rank techniques more suited to their level.

As the months passed, Naruto grumbled about his father's decision. "Why can't we just learn Rasengan? It's so much cooler than these boring wind jutsu."

Ryuga, however, remained focused, recognizing the importance of mastering the fundamentals. "We'll get there, Naruto. But for now, let's trust Father's judgment."

Two years later

Under the shade of the cherry blossom tree, Naruto and Ryuga stood side by side, their chakra pulsing with determination. Minato watched with pride as his sons prepared to demonstrate their progress.

"Ready, Naruto? Ryuga?" Minato called out.

Naruto nodded eagerly, a newfound determination in his eyes. "I'm ready, Dad!"

Ryuga's hand crackled with energy as he channeled his chakra, a small, spinning orb forming in his palm. "Let's do this, Father."

With a nod of approval, Minato watched as Ryuga unleashed his Rasengan—a swirling vortex of wind chakra that danced and crackled with power.

"Amazing, Ryuga!" Minato exclaimed, a wide smile spreading across his face. "You've mastered the Rasengan!"

Ryuga beamed with pride, the years of hard work and dedication finally paying off. "Thank you, Father. I couldn't have done it without your guidance."

Naruto, though still in the early stages of mastering the Rasengan, clapped enthusiastically. "That was awesome, Ryuga! I'll catch up to you soon!"

Minato ruffled Naruto's hair affectionately. "I have no doubt, Naruto. With determination like yours, anything is possible."
