Now that everyone had agreed, Nanashi didn't waste time.
In an instant, the Sanctuary unfurled.
Each of them was officially marked as a member of the Chrono Clan.
Yumiko's eyes widened. "I can feel... something magical inside me."
She took a step forward—
"Wah!" She stumbled and shot forward like a rocket, nearly crashing into the wall.
Luckily, Nanashi caught her just in time.
"Careful," he said, ruffling her hair. "Take it slow. Get used to your new powers."
"R-Right... got it."
Blushing slightly, Yumiko stood and started brushing down Nanashi's now-ruffled clothes.
Yui stood quietly off to the side, watching.
Yumiko stepped back.
Nanashi snapped his fingers.
In an instant, the space around them warped and stretched—enveloping the classroom in a surreal distortion.
In a blink, everyone found themselves inside a strange, alternate space.
Nanashi walked up to a nearby cabinet, opened it, and began explaining.
"I installed a spatial gate here, in the clubroom cabinet."
"Anyone authorized can access this parallel realm using that portal."
"Here, you can freely train and hone your powers."
"You may have already sensed it: as members of the Chrono Clan, our time can accelerate, while time outside slows down. But if you don't train properly, you might end up like Yumiko—unable to control it."
"Whoa! Time powers?!" Marin's eyes sparkled. "Does that mean I'll never be late again, even if I oversleep?"
Eriri pumped her fists. "Yes! I can stay up even later to finish more illustrations!"
Even Miko's tired face perked up slightly. "So if I run into evil spirits, I can just fast-forward out of there!?"
"…"
Nanashi sighed.
You have access to a god-tier ability… and this is what you use it for?
He glared at Eriri. "Stop pulling all-nighters. If you keep it up, I'll make sure you can't fall asleep for a whole night."
Eriri's face turned pink, her little fang showing as she grinned. "Ooh? Sounds like a challenge! Bring it on!"
Yukino gave her a subtle side-eye.
Eriri, you're saying that... but your tone is way too happy.
Nanashi shook his head. He was too tired to deal with this little pervert right now.
He'd make sure to properly "discipline" her when they got home tonight.
"This space is extremely stable," Nanashi explained further. "Even if Yukino uses her full strength, she wouldn't be able to damage it. It can double as a shelter—completely secure."
He wasn't exaggerating in the slightest.
Out of everyone present, Yukino was the strongest.
Her ice-based powers were already approaching the level of a Lv5 fighter.
Eriri possessed the Dragon Slayer magic of Sky Dragon, but lacking formal training, her progress was slow. At best, she could handle a Lv3.
Now that they didn't have to worry about damaging the outside world, Eriri could finally let loose without restraint.
But more importantly...
The spatial barrier Nanashi casually reinforced could withstand attacks equivalent to Lv6 force. It truly was a perfect shelter.
"Oh?" Yukino's eyes brightened. "This really is a good place to train."
Nanashi turned to Yui. "Yui, would you like to become my Angel of Redemption?"
"I do! I mean—yes! But… can I? Am I really qualified?"
Her eyes sparkled with excitement, but there was hesitation in her voice.
"Don't worry. Just think of me with all your heart."
"Okay!"
Yui took a deep breath, closed her eyes—
And just like that, her feelings reached him.
"Mm!"
A gentle warmth surged through her body. When she opened her eyes, she was already soaring in mid-air.
"Wah—!"
She looked down and yelped in surprise.
Then she turned and saw: behind her, pure white wings beat rhythmically, supporting her flight. Her face lit up.
"I really became an angel!"
Yumiko, watching from below, looked up at her best friend with envy in her eyes.
An angel... how incredible.
"Come down. There's more," Nanashi said gently.
Yui obediently descended, her wings and halo fading as she landed. She skipped over to Nanashi and stood before him with an adorable pout.
Nanashi first used Archon to transmit the techniques of the Haki Six Styles directly into her mind.
TL/N: For those confused — Nanashi's Zanpakutō is called Dominator, and its true name is Archon, which means "Ruler/Dominator."
Then, he took out a peculiar gray fruit marked with spiraling patterns.
"What's this?" Yui asked, poking at it curiously.
Nanashi smirked playfully. "You'll understand once you take a bite."
Without hesitation, Yui bit into it.
But the moment the taste hit her tongue, her expression twisted. "Blegh…! It's so disgusting!"
"It only works if you eat it all," Nanashi added calmly.
Tearing up, Yui clamped a hand over her mouth and forced herself to swallow. "Ugh…"
"Haha…"
She pouted with a tear-streaked face. "That was awful. Were you just messing with me?"
Nanashi chuckled. "Nope. Give it a second—you should feel something soon."
"Eh?"
Yui blinked, surprised. Something really was awakening inside her.
Moments later, she lifted off the ground again. But this time, it wasn't the angel wings.
She was flying on her own.
Nanashi smiled. "What you just ate is called the Float-Float Fruit. It grants the power to fly, and lets you make inanimate objects float by touching them."
"Whoa! That's like telekinesis!" Miko's eyes gleamed. "That's such a cool power!"
"Ohh~ Nanashi-kun is really spoiling Yui," Marin sighed softly.
Yumiko nodded quietly beside her.
A clan, angelic wings, and now a superpower. There was no denying it—Nanashi was truly good to Yui.
After Yui landed, she ran into his arms with a bright smile. "Thank you, Nanashi."
Nanashi tilted her chin up with a smirk. "Still bitter?"
"A little…" she admitted with a shy nod.
"Then I'll rinse it out for you."
And with that, Nanashi kissed her deeply.
Yui was momentarily stunned—but then she melted into the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck, responding with growing passion.
Thinking about how much he cared for her, the warmth and affection in her heart felt like it would overflow.
The others looked away from the affectionate scene.
One by one, they quietly left to go train, unwilling to play the role of a third wheel.
Just before leaving, Yumiko glanced back at them—and lightly bit her lip.
Yui and Nanashi didn't take things any further.
They simply shared a long, deep kiss, during which Yui gradually adjusted to her new abilities.
Afterward, Nanashi quietly exited the parallel space and entered the Chaos Realm.
This world—born from sin—had been shaped by the witches.
It was... visually distinctive, to say the least.
Typhon(Pride), Minerva(Wrath), Carmilla(Lust), Daphne(Gluttony), Sekhmet(Sloth), and Echidna(Greed) had collaborated to create a sprawling gray castle manor.
It had flowers, plants, and all sorts of whimsical decorations.
Daphne, of course, had populated the place with countless magical beasts of her own making.
Satella, in contrast, had done the opposite.
She built a pure black fortress, and named it Shadow City—a reflection of her dark, mysterious power.
But the most unusual of all was the place where Pandora lived.
Rather than a castle, she built a simple, two-story house. A cozy, modest home.
Its name, however, was anything but ordinary.
She called it: The Nest of Love.
Nanashi could only stare blankly at that.
Honestly, he was very curious about what went on inside that place…
But now wasn't the time.
His real destination was the World of Faith.
There, Kayo had led her angels to build a gleaming, futuristic City of Angels—a fusion of divine presence and advanced technology.
Nanashi appeared silently, careful not to disturb anyone.
His arrival point?
Right beside Tallulah.
It was about time she reflected on herself—and Nanashi was ready to help her face what needed to be faced.
Room 717. Pristine white.
Tallulah sat silently on the edge of the bed, her expression blank, like a marionette stripped of its strings.
Back in Mumei World, Nanashi had already learned of her condition through Kayo. Tallulah, at present, was like a lifeless puppet—her mind empty of all but one thought: sin, and the death she believed she deserved.
Today, the one assigned to look after her was Enju.
"Brother Nanashi!"
As soon as she saw him, Enju dashed toward Nanashi and leapt into his arms.
Nanashi caught her easily and smiled. "It's been a while, Enju."
Enju nestled her head against him, breathing in his familiar scent, rubbing her face into his shoulder like a little animal craving warmth. After a moment, she looked up at him with an aggrieved pout.
"What is it?" Nanashi asked, pinching her nose playfully. "Who bullied you? Want me to go teach them a lesson?"
No one would dare bully Enju in this place, and they both knew it.
Enju pouted harder. "Brother Nanashi… did Kayo… do it with you?"
"…"
Nanashi coughed awkwardly. "Ahem—why do you ask something like that?"
Enju's eyes brimmed with tears. "Kayo already got to do it… so why can't Enju?"
Am I being targeted? Nanashi laughed and sighed at once.
"Of course you can, Enju. But are you sure you want to do it now?"
He tilted his head slightly, gesturing toward the still figure seated on the bed.
Enju didn't seem to care.
Her eyes lit up. "Now!"
"…"
Nanashi cared deeply about his people. And Enju was one of them.
So, he indulged her—completely ignoring the silent Tallulah who sat beside them like a ghost, unnoticed and unmoving.
For now, she might as well have been dead.
[Quick Recaps: Talulah Artorius is from the Arknight verse where Lemuel is. Talulah is one of the most important and tragic figures in Arknights. She starts as the leader of the Reunion Movement, the main enemy faction in the early story. But behind her role as a ruthless revolutionary is a painful backstory of betrayal, loss, and manipulation.]
