"Sigh"

"Well look at the bright side, at least it's not a quest based system. Probably. . ."

Hanrui encouraged himself despite his disbelief and exasperation, shaking away thoughts of the system—he needed to pay attention to his family right now.

As Hanrui refocused, his family gradually returned to their senses. His father, Wu Tian, beamed with pride. Even though Hanrui hadn't awakened a sword martial soul like his own, the familiar fire element radiating from the Azure Dragon's aura struck a deep chord.

His mother, Han Mei, felt the dignified pressure of a superior dragon bloodline emanating from her son's martial soul—so overwhelming that she almost felt compelled to kneel. Yet mingled with that awe was unprecedented joy: Hanrui had awakened a martial soul even grander than her own Sea Dragon.

Grandmother Xue Li, though she couldn't identify this particular dragon soul or sense any direct bloodline suppression, immediately understood its extraordinariness. Choosing not to speculate, she stepped forward, gaze sharp, voice clear:

"Rui'er, withdraw your martial soul for now and tell us what it is. Your grandmother hasn't seen a martial soul like this before, and it's certainly not in any history book—as you should know too, having read them all."

Nodding, Hanrui withdrew his martial soul, letting the Dragon merge back into himself as he answered.

"Grandmother, my martial soul is called the 'Azure Dragon King.' As you saw, it possesses three elements: Fire, Ice, and Wood/Life."

He let the words settle before offering a small, confident smile.

"It seems I inherited the fire and ice from father and mother, and was probably born with a wood element. This mutated my dragon martial soul into something with all three elements. That's not all—these aren't just basic elements. Each one is the extreme form, one step below the ultimate grade."

Hearing Hanrui's words, all three family members froze—stunned by the implications of three extreme elements and what that might mean for his future cultivation. Still, the mischievous smile curling at the edge of Hanrui's lips was unmistakable. Suppressing their disbelief, Wu Tian, Han Mei, and Xue Li exchanged glances, then urged him to continue.

But instead of offering more words, Hanrui simply smiled wider.

With a flourish, he released the Azure Dragon's innate domain, the air around him thickening and shimmering as elemental energies pulsed to life. A wave of fiery warmth swept through the courtyard, mixing instantly with icy chills and the rejuvenating flow of wood-tinged vitality as all kinds of plants grow spontaneously. Colors and pressure swirled—signs of a truly extraordinary power—while Hanrui stood at the center, calm and in control.

For a moment, none of them spoke. The mingled energies pressed against them as they felt about 10-20% of their attributes suppressed but then the feeling went away as they felt an increase in attributes about the same percentage, all three feeling both awed and reassured. Hanrui's innate domain resonated with the supremacy of his Azure Dragon: fire flared, ice crystallized, and the very earth seemed to be empowered with new life.

Xue Li quickly recovered from her shock as she asked her grandson "Rui'er, is this your Martial Soul innate Domain?"

Hanrui smiled happily at their reactions as he nodded and explained further "yes Grandmother, this is my innate Domain, Azure Dragon Elemental Domain. There is one more surprise but i feel tired can i go rest I'll show the last one after the breakfast tomorrow morning."

Xue Li ruffled his hair affectionately, smiling warmly as she sent him away. Hanrui then bid goodnight to his father and mother before retiring, eager to get rid of this incessant system notification and have some rest.

While Hanrui was lost in thought and headed toward his room, Xue Li turned her gaze toward her son and daughter-in-law, who were still smiling proudly. She called softly to them, drawing their attention.

"I don't know if you noticed, but Rui'er carries many secrets. The most important one will likely be revealed after breakfast tomorrow. I expect you both to behave like true parents—no excuses, no disappointments. If you ever make him sad, there will be consequences," she said firmly, her eyes sharp as she released her Soul Douluo level pressure on them for a split second before withdrawing the room herself.

Wu Tian and Han Mei stood baffled, exchanging incredulous looks. Almost simultaneously, they muttered, "Act like his parents? We are his parents!" as the weight of her words slowly sank in, albeit with some lingering confusion as they too left to their own quarters.

Hanrui took a seat on his bed and opened the system interface.

He mentally commanded, "Inventory," and instantly, a holographic RPG-style inventory window appeared before him.

Inside he found the letter mentioned by the system and what seems to be a Gift pack. While curious about the Gift pack he chose to take out the Letter first.

The instant he thought about taking out the Letter, the Inventory window disappeared and was replaced with contents of the Letter.

To: The User with Terrible Judgment.

Your selection was "Successful". However, your profound lack of spatial awareness led you to choose a world entirely unsuitable for your requested ability. That particular power, while relatively 'harmless' in the world you intended, would create an immediate, universe-shattering mess in this one. A mess I have no interest in cleaning up.

So, in exchange for that ability, I have deployed the God-level *** System, a bespoke creation designed to prevent your swift and unremarkable death.

Its primary function is to help you achieve the rank of a God King. Upon your ascension, it will help you create a God realm of your own.

But Knowing you This system may already become a God level Assistant System instead, while mostly auxiliary, is your new overpowered ability. Do not die. I don't want to see you again anytime soon.

The Life Selector.

'I thought she was just cold, I never took her for one to make sarcastic remarks.' he thought inwardly.

"Anyway Thanks a lot for everything Miss Selector." he said out loud in gratitude as despite being born in the wrong world he got a family who loves him and suddenly he noticed a detail.

"My own God realm," he muttered.

"That means I can take my family and anyone else I want to my God realm" Hanrui jumped on his bed in joy as he recalled his family dotting on him.

"System, be a dear and introduce your functions" he commanded. The letter disappears and in its place new words appear.

[System Functions: Status, Inventory,???]

"Hmm Status and Inventory are quite common stuff i came across so i don't need an explanation for that but, what is up with these question marks."he asked the System.

[Due to Master's intense dislike for the Quest system, the "Quest module" had been uninstalled and the system recaliberated.

The master can choose the direction in which the System should go, as the system is Assistant for the master, only the master can make decisions.]

"So you mean, i can add new modules in place of the missing ones?"Hanrui's eyes lit up at the thought as he asked the system.

[Affirmative, Master]

"That's good," Hanrui said, shaking with excitement. But then he recalled the gift pack. Feeling the itch to open it before he created a custom module for his system.

"System, open the Gift pack in the inventory" Hanrui commanded.

[Yes Master]

The transparent screen in front of him turns clear again before the gift pack opens with a pop sound on the holographic screen.

A new list appears in the holographic screen.

". . ." He grows speechless at the first reward -Complete Cultivation Knowledge.

"I would've preferred to have been given the books instead so I could study on my own. But I guess this does save time, so whatever "Hanrui sighs.

"System please explain about the 2nd and 3rd rewards" he commands.

Instantly the page clears out and the information about the rewards appear.

[2.Martial Soul: Void Weaver

Grade: Divine

[Description: A unique, divine-grade martial soul born from the convergence of universal chaos. It exists as a swirling vortex of black matter, infinitely contained within an infinity symbol. It is the beginning of all things and the end of all possibilities, allowing it to manipulate and create reality on a fundamental level.]

[Innate Abilities]

Formless Transformation: The Void Weaver can transform into any known Martial Soul, copying its abilities and form with 100% authenticity. This ability is limited by the host's current soul power and the desired martial soul's grade. The higher the grade, the more soul power it consumes.

Chaos Domain: The user can deploy a domain of pure chaos, in which all status effects are increased by 50%, while the enemy's are reduced by 50%. This domain can be strengthened or weakened at will, and its range is determined by the host's spiritual power.

Perfect Fusion: The Void Weaver can achieve a 100% martial soul fusion with any chosen partner's Martial Soul. This fusion combines the strengths of both parties and eliminates their weaknesses, creating a new, more powerful martial soul with abilities far beyond what either could achieve on their own.

3. Life saver Card: it saves the life of the master at critical moments, it's a God class item. If a God tries to take action against you the card will trigger a passive protection, the God and let master deal with the follow up however master wishes.]

Hisss. . . Hanrui forgets to take a breath for a second after reading this.

"Isn't this too OP?I don't even remember what ability I chose to get something like this." Hanrui murmurs to himself.

"Ok, System Create a Materialization Module with Analysis and Synthesis Functions. While you are at it, integrate the cultivation knowledge into my head."Hanrui commanded.

[Yes Master]

"Huh, truly a God level System. I was expecting to be hit by a wave of pain or atleast a mild discomfort but it felt like bathing in an ocean of knowledge?. That's idly Comfortable."Hanrui thought.

"I'll check the new module later, for now I should choose a Cultivation technique and start cultivating." Hanrui murmurs to himself while thinking of the cultivation techniques in his mind.

Hanrui closed his eyes and sifted through the countless cultivation techniques in his mind.

Famous names flashed by—Heavenly God Technique, Flame Mantra, Mysterious Heaven.

He paused as he came across 'Mysterious Heaven'.

"I wonder how Tang San would feel if he knew what he worked hard to steal fell into my lap without effort," Hanrui chuckled softly to himself.

Finding no technique that truly fit, he reflected on his martial souls.

His thoughts settled on searching for a technique suited to his 'Void Weaver' martial soul.

After a brief search, he found it: the Chaos Origin Scripture.

"Perfect. This technique perfectly aligns with the Chaotic Nature of 'Void Weaver' martial soul." Hanrui hummed in satisfaction and sat crosslegged on the bed, summoned the martial soul 'Void Weaver' and commanded the system to help him integrate with the martial soul.

[Yes Master]

[Initiating Martial Soul integration]

[. . .]

[Integration Complete]

Almost immediately, his soul power surged, skyrocketing from level 10 to level 20.

Hanrui felt an overwhelming flood of energy coursing through his veins, his senses sharpening beyond anything before.

He shifted focus, beginning to convert this immense soul power through cultivation, channeling it into the Chaos Origin Scripture.

Yet, despite his effort, the power wasn't enough to complete the first layer, The Formless Seed.

[System Alert:Energy insufficiency detected.

Auto Assist protocol Activated: opening a small spatial tear to draw in Void Energy.]

A shimmering rift formed right above the 'Void weaver' in Hanrui's hands, pulling in surreal, dark energy from beyond the void.

This energy fused with his own, accelerating the chaotic refinement process.

Minutes later, his body and spirit settled as the first layer's cultivation was finalized.

Soul power recalibrated back to level 10—but with far greater potential and depth than before.

Hanrui exhaled slowly.

"Though my level has dropped, the strength within feels completely different—a foundation reborn," he mused quietly.

To test his power, Hanrui summoned a massive training dummy weighing two thousand jin (about one ton).

He struck it with decisive force, leaving a deep imprint as the dummy skidded several meters backward.

"That's not bad," Hanrui reflected.

"In Soul Land 3 era, Tang Wulin casually strikes with a force of 483 kilograms—966 jin—with a single hand.

My strike is more than twice as powerful."

Satisfied, he made his way to the Garden and sat cross-legged.

Summoning his Azure Dragon King martial soul, he began cultivating.

The familiar aura of the Azure Dragon King radiated outward, accelerating the growth of nearby plantations noticing this he also opened up his Azure Dragon Elemental Domain.

Every plant in the garden recived a boost in their cultivation speed, in order to repay the favor the plants willingly shared part of their life force with him.

Bright sparkles of energy swirled and converged around Hanrui and his martial soul.

At first, the energy glowed from a pale, almost white hue—signifying the early stage of a soul ring aged around 10 years.

Slowly, the hue deepened, shifting to a soft yellow—the signature color of century-old soul rings.

Gradually, the light darkened into a rich, radiant purple, marking the thousand-year-old soul ring phase.

The shimmering purple soul ring, aged at 9,300 years, crystallized before him.

Hanrui felt a sudden swell within his soul power as it surged upward by two whole levels, elevating him to a Soul Master with a rank of 12.

Without pausing, Hanrui dove into cultivating the next stage of the scripture—the second layer, Chaotic Inception.

His focus sharpened as he began refining the Formless Seed formed earlier, preparing to push beyond conventional limits.

The chaotic energy within the Formless Seed began to churn violently, surging through Hanrui's dantian like a tempest seeking release.

His spiritual senses tingled sharply as he guided the raw, turbulent qi through refined channels, purifying and tempering it into a more stable, potent form.

The process was taxing yet invigorating, pushing his cultivation beyond previous boundaries as he embraced the wild essence of the Chaotic Inception.

Hanrui's soul power gradually climbed, reaching rank 13. Though the process was demanding, he felt every increment in his spiritual and physical strength.

Once he stabilized his soul power, Hanrui chose to conclude his session, allowing his newly refined energy to settle within his body.

Hanrui slowly opened his eyes, the calm after cultivation filling his body and spirit.

He turned his gaze to the soul ring glowing softly on his martial soul and then focused on his martial soul, feeling the shifting currents of power within.

Curious about the true extent of his growth, Hanrui extended his awareness deeper, beginning to sense and test his soul skill.

After focusing, he called out, "First soul skill—Dragon King's Grace."

Instantly, the plantation within a radius of thirteen meters around him erupted into rapid, vigorous growth.

The grass already present in the garden glowed faintly for a split second before accelerating its growth, with each blade aging between ten to a hundred years depending on its current cultivation level.

Among them, a particular patch of Blue Silver Grass that had been at 5,500 years of age benefited the most, its age increasing by 200 years to 5,700.

"Wow, you are quite something aren't you" Hanrui commented as he stroked the blade of the blue silver grass with 5700 years of cultivation.

"So my first soul skill is basically Life Bestowal, it's really a perfect skill for a Gardener like me and this skill also allows me create my own Soul beasts."Hanrui mused.

Then his attention turned to his soul ring,as he looked at it he couldn't help but broke out in smile and feel thankful."I'm really glad Uzumaki Sage Body awakened after my Martial Soul awakening, without it i doubt i could reach a near 10000 year soul ring for my first soul ring."

As he looked around he noticed, after his soul skill activated the Fire Ginseng and Glacial Lotus matured completely so he went and picked them up and stored it in the inventory, too lazy to deal with it.

Hanrui visibly felt the vibrant life energy in the area as he breathed in. He withdrew his Azure Dragon King Martial Soul and the domain and headed back to his bedroom to rest.

"By the way, thank you for the earlier auto assist, System," he said with a drowsy smile as he tucked himself beneath the covers.

[It's my duty to serve you, Master.]

Hanrui's only reply was a contented smile as weariness overtook him and he drifted into a peaceful sleep.

Meanwhile—

In the endless void, a lone figure let out a weary sigh.

"You're welcome, little one. But really… choosing All Fiction and then of all places—Soul Land? A cultivation world? Even I, can't explain how a cosmic fluke like that happened." Her lips curled in a wry smile. "If I hadn't reacted in time, with your current personality you might have turned that world into rubble."

She exhaled again, the sound drifting into the nothingness around her.

Then—without warning—a portal rippled open behind her, spilling an unfamiliar presence into her sanctuary.

A playful voice brushed against her ears, low and teasing.

"Did you miss me… Miss Selector?"
