Chapter 160 - The Enemy and I Have the Same Origin

Some time later, the room was filled with highly intelligent individuals. Tony was placed in a device resembling a nutrient capsule, his vital signs extremely weak.

Dr. Banner, Norman Osborn, Dr. Otto, Dr. Connors, the renowned Doctor Strange, and Dr. Helen Cho, who was guiding remotely—all were Nobel Prize-level talents. Even Peter, who was assisting them, was a genius youth.

Eller, a liberal arts major, stood by, unable to interject a single word.

"These nanobots have integrated with his organs. We must remove them completely and then use the Regeneration Serum to cure him," Dr. Connors suggested.

Upon hearing this, Dr. Otto immediately vetoed his old colleague. "The nanobots have already replaced half of his nervous system. If we start, he will become a vegetable."

"But we can reprogram these nanobots to make them a complete part of Tony Stark's body," Helen Cho proposed. "I'm currently designing a blueprint for a life-cradle prototype and will transmit it."

"Alright, Ms. Helen Cho, the optimal network route has been selected for you," Jarvis said.

"But I still need a sufficiently precise program to guide the nanobot reconstruction," Helen Cho added.

Upon hearing this, Jarvis confidently stated, "I am the optimal program designed by Sir."

"However, the human body's self-protection mechanism will cause a rejection reaction," Dr. Banner predicted. "Tony is very likely to suffer organ failure."

"Then use the Regeneration Serum to sustain his life," Norman said. "I can provide the Regeneration Serum for free. The success rate of this plan is very high."

This was an excellent opportunity to forge a good relationship with Stark Industries. Even if it didn't succeed, future business dealings with Stark Industries would be much more convenient.

For his son's future connections, Norman treated today as a team-building exercise for the Osborn Group's scientists.

Peter had been busy listening to the knowledge of these great figures. Offering suggestions was still too early for him; what he needed to do now was learn.

"This isn't a matter of regeneration, Osborn. This is the human body's genetic self-protection. I think we can use the Ark Reactor's characteristics to attract the nanobots, and then…"

Listening to Dr. Banner's words, Eller remembered something and interjected, "Dr. Banner, if there's something that can modify human genetic information, wouldn't that support the first treatment plan?"

"Theoretically, yes," Dr. Banner nodded, then asked in confusion, "But where would you find such a thing?"

The wool comes from the sheep... Eller thought to himself, then, while uploading Extremis-related data on his Spider Smartphone, he said to the high-IQ individuals present:

"You all can continue discussing the first treatment plan. Give me thirty minutes, and I'll bring this thing back."

"Okay, it's best to bring a lot."

… … … … … … … … … …

Forty minutes later,

At Future Pharmaceuticals, a hesitant Maya Hansen came to the laboratory to check on Extremis, but when she saw that there wasn't even a single tube in the instrument used to store Extremis, she broke down.

"Who stole my Extremis?!"

At the same time, in a property owned by the Stark family, a drop of sweat ran down Dr. Banner's forehead.

"This is enough for Tony to bathe in. Did we take too much…?"

"Didn't you say more is better?"

Eller said innocently. He had taken all of Future Pharmaceuticals' Extremis. Anyway, Maya Hansen was highly unlikely to do anything good with this Extremis, so it might as well benefit him.

"Never mind, as long as we have some," Dr. Banner nodded, then took a few tubes of Extremis and walked into the temporarily set up 'sickroom.'

Stark Industries' financial power was immense. Pepper made a few calls, and all the equipment needed by the numerous talents was delivered before Eller returned.

After some discussion, the scientists finalized the treatment plan. Dr. Banner would direct and schedule the surgery.

Tony would be placed in the life-cradle prototype. Dr. Helen Cho and Jarvis would reprogram the nanobots to make them a part of Tony.

Several members of the Osborn Group would be responsible for handling neural bonding and any emergencies that arose when the nanobots encountered the Ark Reactor. Dr. Connors and Dr. Otto even generously gave Peter on-site lessons.

Doctor Strange was on standby at all times, ready to perform emergency first aid if any unexpected situation occurred.

Eller and the two ladies waited outside the door. After the surgery had been underway for about three or four minutes, Jarvis's voice suddenly rang out.

"Mr. Eller, here is a message Mr. Stark specifically left for you."

"For me?" Eller asked, puzzled.

"Sir once said that if he encountered an accident, you would gain a portion of my authorization," Jarvis replied.

Upon hearing this, Eller smiled. "He trusts me that much?"

"He trusts his comrades," Jarvis felt it was inappropriate and added, "Apparently, Captain is excluded."

"Tell me, what does he want me to do this time?"

"He wants a cool appearance, as majestic as a male lion on the savanna."

"Alright, alright, it seems Tony also wants to be a man with a male lion in his eyes."

"Thank you for agreeing. I will now fully program the nanobots. You just need to select upload when you're done."

Then, Jarvis brought up a holographic interface for Eller, allowing Eller to design the appearance of the unfinalized prototype suit.

Eller himself provided many considerations for close combat and incorporated lion design elements into the head.

Considering that Tony might become an AI in the future, Eller also designed a module for him to express emotions. This module was a circular screen that could display Tony's mood using pixel art.

Due to someone's petty nature, Jarvis could also use this intelligent module and treat it as a 'shelter.'

At this moment, a sudden explosion echoed from the sickroom, blowing off the thick wooden door.

"What's going on?" Pepper anxiously asked from inside. "Is Tony alright?"

"He's fine, Ms. Pepper. This isn't an accident; it could even be considered… a miracle," Norman didn't turn around, instead, like everyone else, he stared intently at the life-cradle.

But the life-cradle was no longer in its original spot; only a human-sized black giant cocoon stood there.

"Peter, what happened?" Eller asked Peter, who had witnessed the entire process.

"Mr. Stark is evolving," Peter replied. "After we injected all the serums, Mr. Stark's body underwent some kind of change. We can't even detect the nanobot signals…"
