AURORA MOON
When Aurora awoke, sunlight slanted across her face. She stretched her arms above her head, and groaned.
"My waist is so sore," she muttered as she sat up. Kellan had been relentless last night. She'd barely gotten any sleep.
Kellan wasn't in bed. His side of the bed felt cool to the touch, so he'd probably been up for a while. That man was a machine. Sheesh. Aurora swung her legs off the bed. She put on her slippers and robe and went in search of her husband.
She found him in his study with Jingyu. Two other people were also in the office, both dressed in black suits.
Kellan smiled at her, took a look at her morning outfit, and immediately frowned. He rose from his desk, took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders. "You should wear more clothing," he said softly in her ear. "You'll catch a cold." His kissed the side of her neck. Then he took her hand and led her around the desk. He plopped her onto his lap.
