Chapter 257 - Chapter 256: The Birth of the Demon God!

Hades didn't hear clearly what Dane chanted, only saw his lips move, and then his eyes were flashed by a violent blue light, making him instinctively raise his arm to block.

The blue light only flashed for one millisecond; within that millisecond, all sounds disappeared, and everyone was still... No, there was one person whose mind was not bound by time and who saw it.

It was Barry Allen; he saw that light within the Speed Force, and he also saw Dane, which was natural, because he was running towards him to save Dane.

But what about Dane? As a mortal, after losing the Shazam Force, Dane actually turned his head in one millisecond and saw Barry.

His mouth moved, there was no sound, but Barry could clearly see the meaning conveyed by his lip-reading.

This sentence made Barry pause for a moment, and then he broke free from the embrace of the Speed Force; one millisecond passed in an instant.

What followed was the deafening roar of mountains collapsing and the earth splitting!

"Boom" — —!

That tremendous roar instantly pierced the eardrums of all living creatures, rumbling like two planets colliding.

How sensitive was the Kryptonian hearing? Under this tremendous roar, one Kryptonian Soldier after another had their consciousness shattered by the sound waves, falling down neatly like mown wheat, dying on the spot!

The Demon Lord army was even worse; whether dead or not, they all lost their ability to move, becoming a pile of lying corpses.

Even Demon Lords of the caliber of Aini and Berial had their brains rattled by the sound, leaving them dazed and disoriented.

Barry Allen was thrown backward by a powerful blast of air.

At the center of where the blue light had erupted, amidst the dust and smoke generated by the explosion, a colossal figure stood there.

He was like a giant pillar reaching the heavens, or a towering World Tree reaching into the clouds, his head disappearing into the clouds, making it impossible to discern his true face.

Little Flash in Barry's goggles quickly began to take measurements.

"Incredible, his height has reached three kilometers!"

Barry strained to look up; the colossal figure was entirely White, wearing trousers of unknown material on his lower body, his upper body completely bare, with sharply defined muscles neatly arranged upon it.

He had three pairs of arms, each arm like a giant pillar supporting the sky, inspiring awe.

And above the clouds, one of the giant's hands slowly opened, and the half-crippled Hades was in his palm.

Hades looked in shock at the faintly visible face above the clouds, which was both familiar and strange.

It was Dane Davis's face.

He had become even younger, and his facial features felt softer.

However, his earlobes tapered upwards like an elf's, and his long black hair was gathered at the back of his head by a golden ring.

The giant's eyelids twitched, and he slowly opened his eyes.

This simple action alone caused dramatic changes in the surrounding clouds, as if all of Hell was cheering, celebrating its Master!

Hades's expression was grim; he felt he had been tricked, that Dane had anticipated this scene all along and deliberately used him to complete this astonishing transformation.

But he still didn't understand, what exactly had the other party done?

The giant opened his eyes; the black sclera and pupils were as deep as night, with golden edges around the corneoscleral limbus.

Those eyes, like two annular eclipses of the Moon in the night, possessed an indescribable beauty.

And those two lunar rings shifted downwards, fixing on Hades, making his hair stand on end.

He had already enlarged himself, but even so, he was still a small, palm-sized thing in this form of Dane.

Hades felt a strong unease within him, a fatal sense of crisis surging into his heart; he saw no human emotion in those Moon-ring-like eyes.

"Wait, Dane...~`."

Hades opened his mouth to speak, but before he could finish, the giant's hand instantly closed.

Like a Water balloon bursting, Hades's divine blood covered every inch of the giant's palm, then quickly permeated into the palm, restoring it to its pristine White state.

Hades's divine power and soul, like his divine body, were completely absorbed by the giant.

The giant's eyes moved again, fixing on the Sun, Atum, not far away.

Atum seemed to sense the giant's hostility and flew towards the gate of the Afterlife at a visible speed.

But just as His body was halfway in, a giant hand grabbed onto the towering stone gate.

With colossal force, the gate to the past was slowly pulled open, and the giant's other hand squeezed the Sun, Atum's incarnation, as if holding a basketball.

He brought this ball before him, opened his mouth wide, revealing sharp canine teeth, and took a bite out of this Sun.

And directly bit a huge chunk out of this Sun.

"Holy. Shit!"

Hal clutched his head and yelled in mid-air; that face was all too familiar to him—it was Dane!

How did he become like this now?

"Dane — —!"

Diana stood on the ground and called out to him, but the giant did not respond; he was still intently gnawing on the Sun in his hand.

As if there was no high temperature, as if it really was just a fruit, but Atum's surging divine power reminded everyone that it was a god!

The supreme chief god of a pantheon!

But in the giant's hand, he was merely a fruit, a dessert, devoured bite by bite by the giant.

Enlil, Marduk, Thor, Ahriman, Set, and some other hidden gods observing the battle didn't say a word, turned around and ran; they wanted to leave this place!

From the moment that giant appeared, easily crushing Hades, and then effortlessly toying with Atum in his palm, they knew that this Hell now had a Master, it had chosen its King!

However, the giant had no intention of letting these gods go; he lifted his foot, stirring up ten thousand feet of mud and sand, like a fierce wind sweeping across the land, obscuring the sky.

Then that sky-darkening Shadow fell, stepping on several of the fleeing gods.

Set was directly crushed under that foot, his once steel-hard divine body reduced to pulp, and the flesh, soul, and divine power on his divine body were absorbed by the foot, becoming part of the giant.

"He's devouring our power!"

Under that mountain-high foot, a god roared, but immediately after, he followed in Set's footsteps, becoming part of that foot.

Some gods were unwilling to merely flee, or perhaps they understood that simply fleeing would not allow them to escape Dane's attack range.

So they turned back and charged towards Dane's head.

However, what they didn't expect was that the giant's speed was not slow at all; instead, it was as fast as Flash.

As soon as Thor entered Dane's arm span, his body was instantly shattered by the giant hand, and all accumulated power became Dane's.

Enlil and Marduk soon followed suit, pulverized by the giant's other hands, then eaten clean.

At this moment, this giant was simply a demon among demons; no god was his match, and the more gods he ate, the stronger his power became.

He continued to open his abyssal maw and swallowed Atum whole; the divine power was rapidly digested within him, becoming part of his demonic power.

The demonic power within him surged, spreading outwards through his pores, and the red sky was instantly covered by a deep, dark night.

The Dark Age had arrived!

Even the demons not on the battlefield, every single one, regardless of rank, strength, or race, involuntarily paid homage in Dane's direction.

As long as there was a single breathing being in Hell, they had to pledge their loyalty to the new Lord of Hell.

A lunar ring hung in the sky of Hell, symbolizing the Demon King's eye, monitoring everything in Hell.

Dane accomplished what Lucifer could have done all along but never did; he became the god of Hell's demons, a Demon God ruling over demons.

The demons worshipped the golden lunar ring, offering their faith to seek the Demon God's blessing.

At the same time, a new godhead was born within Dane's Demon God body.

The God of Calamity, presiding over darkness and destruction, is the God who brings ruin and tribulation to all living beings!

He is also a test of life; those who overcome tribulation will have their souls sublimated, and even demons can gain the qualification to ascend to Heaven.

Those who fail to overcome tribulation will have their souls, memories, and everything from their past become fodder for the God of Calamity.

Demons no longer had to endlessly endure the tortures of Hell; they now had a chance to undergo a test.

For those demons who still yearned for Heaven, this was a good thing.

But for those scum who only wanted to lord it over Hell, Dane would become their God of Death!

His stomach would be the ultimate 'Hell' for these scumbags.
