Amanda also had a dark thought that she couldn't voice.
If the Justice League couldn't eliminate that monster in outer space as General Swanwick claimed.
She would then propose to the Military to launch nuclear bombs before the monster entered the atmosphere.
At that distance, the nuclear contamination could be reduced to an acceptable level.
And, perhaps, they could also take care of those who called themselves the "Justice League"... She never trusted metahumans, never.
But before actually proceeding to that step, she had to humble herself and ask Dane for help.
Even though Dane was only on the phone, he could hear the insincerity in her words.
In his imagination, the official methods for dealing with Parallax were nothing new.
First, deploy air force squadrons for reconnaissance, then send aircraft carrier groups to strike, and if all that failed.
Then they would only be able to use the most powerful weapons at their disposal: nuclear bombs or hydrogen bombs.
It was probably more likely to be nuclear bombs, after all, it was their own city, and they couldn't completely disregard it.
But that was all.
Would nuclear bombs be effective against Parallax?
If they could hit, then of course they would have some effect.

"Ignore him! If he wants to follow, let him follow."
"Understood."
By this time, the fighter jet had completely exited the atmosphere and entered low-Earth orbit.
Parallax was already right before their eyes.
All members inside the fighter jet witnessed this colossal monster.
The movie was indeed unreliable; this thing was much larger than it appeared in the film.
Parallax's sheer size, even when motionless, was visually overwhelming, no wonder it became the embodiment of fear.
Anyone with megalophobia here would likely be scared to death on sight.
Seeing that they were close enough, Dane looked at the tense faces of the surrounding members.
They, too, turned their heads, their gazes fixed on Dane.
All their past efforts had led to this moment.
"Justice League, move out!"
At Dane's command, all members acted according to plan.
Dane, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter leaped out of the fighter jet, confronting Parallax directly with their powerful physiques.
Batman, Nightwing, and Red Hood entered the fighter jet's cockpit.
The fighter jet split into three, breaking down into smaller, individual units, transforming into three slightly smaller fighter jets that dispersed.
Parallax immediately spotted the four individuals leading the charge.
"A Martian survivor, a Kryptonian, two Old Gods, this Planet gives me a great surprise!"
Parallax was not alarmed but delighted, because each of these four individuals had a stronger life force than ordinary beings, making them a great tonic!
It opened its mouth and exhaled a yellow hurricane, attempting to permeate the four with fear energy.
The four were demigods capable of corporeal flight, and their speed was also very fast, easily dodging this area-of-effect attack.
Dane led the charge, his body shimmering with electricity, and the lightning pattern on his chest lit up.
The dazzling, brilliant White light was impossible to look at directly. He held his palms outward, and two thick bolts of lightning instantly struck Parallax.
This caused it to lose dozens of its tentacles.
Parallax roared in anger, and as the yellow energy surged, all its tentacles regenerated, appearing even more numerous.
It spread its body, expanding its size once again, transforming into a massive hand that blotted out the sky and reached for the group.
Superman returned to the atmosphere, then quickly came back, his chest puffed out high, and then he exhaled all the air from his lungs in one breath.
Ice Breath!
The massive hand formed by Parallax began to freeze little by little... Dane's hands glowed with magic light, adding more power to Superman's temperature, accelerating the freezing process.
Martian Manhunter's eyes narrowed slightly, emitting red laser beams that severed the frozen tentacles one by one.
Wonder Woman ran across Parallax's body, using the frozen tentacles as footholds. Every time it grew a tentacle, she cut it off, continuously running towards Parallax's eye.
Parallax sensed the difficulty of the group, and a yellow light glowed on its body, causing the black mist entwined around its surface to bulge into round sacs.
Seconds later, the sacs burst, and a swarm of giant arthropods resembling pill bugs crawled out to attack Diana.
Beneath their carapaces, a dense yellow light of fear flickered.
The power of fear constantly lingered in Diana's mind, attempting to provoke emotional changes within her.
But Diana swung her sword, slaying several "pill bugs" that surrounded her, and hurled her divine shield, which sliced countless yellow heads like a cutting machine.
She leaped up and roared, "Amazons, fearless!"
Empowered by her battle spirit, Diana's will was indomitable!
At the same time, Batman, who was flying his fighter jet around, waiting for an opportunity, aimed at Parallax's large yellow eyes.
"Let's try this."
He pressed a button, and a small missile shot out, accurately striking Parallax's eye.
After a blue flash, one of Parallax's yellow eyeballs exploded.
It cried out in pain, looking up at the sky, and its remaining giant eye fixed intently on Batman's fighter jet.
A yellow light flashed, but Batman, anticipating the attack, managed to dodge the yellow laser.
But this only made Parallax even more furious.
Seeing this, Nightwing and Red Hood immediately piloted their fighter jets to provide support.
They emulated Batman's approach, specifically targeting Parallax's eyes.
This annoyed it immensely.
Dane activated his Eye of Insight 3.7 to search for Parallax's weakness, communicating with Martian Manhunter telepathically.
"Ron, there's an entity inside Parallax. Pull him out!"
"Understood."
Ron replied, and his body became intangible; Parallax's tentacles passed through him without being able to harm him.
Intangibility, this was one of Ron's exclusive abilities, in this state, he was almost immune to any physical effects.
Parallax might recognize Martians, but it definitely didn't recognize Martian Manhunter, and it was completely unprepared for this move.
But it had its own method; a strong yellow light suddenly illuminated its body, and the power of fear dramatically increased.
Everyone present was affected to varying degrees; Superman's expression changed for a moment, then he suddenly became enraged.
His eyes glowed crimson, and his Heat Vision blasted out, penetrating deep into Parallax's body.
"How dare you do this to Martha!!!"
Superman burned Parallax with his Heat Vision while gnashing his teeth and cursing.
It seemed his fear was something happening to Martha...
