I was already exhausted from all of the stuff happening.I didn't even know when I fell asleep.When i woke up,it was already dark.There was only lights on the balcony.It was Keifer.Drinking.
I sat beside him and poured myself a drink.
"You are up?"He said when he noticed me.
"And you are drunk?"I asked.
"Come on!!I'm never drunk.I have Watson blood on my veins, remember??"He said.
Like i don't know.He just had to show off his surname at times.
"Well,that's news.So tell me,why are you sitting here gazing into darkness like a lonely protagonist of an unrequited love story??"I asked.
"That's a nice simile you've got there.But,I'm neither lonely nor a protagonist.I'm just a jerk who's thinking about his life decisions after becoming the Father of a Pretty daughter who's more matured than her parents could've been."He said.
"Woww!!You sound reallyy old,jerkk-I mean Father...Did this wine rub away you untouchable arrogance??"He just smiled at my words.
"What are you really thinking about??"I asked this time a bit serious.
"Just things.That I did and didn't."He said."Well..that doesn't matter as long as I can't turn back time.And I have one more thing to say to you.."He said.
"And what's that??"I asked.
"I drank from that glass earlier"He said and I didn't understand what he meant until I looked at the glass I'm holding.
"Ewww!!Keifer!!You really are Jerk!!Why didn't you tell me earlier??"I asked putting down the glass in an instant.
"Well..how is that a problem anyway??You can kiss me but you can't drink from the glass i drank.that doesn't make any sense,wifeyy" He said as if I'm at the fault.
"Seriously,Keifer??You know what??I really don't have time to play along with you.What's time anyway??"I asked frustrated by my own Husband.
"Fine.Fine.It's past midnight,I guess"He said.
"What???I slept that much??Shitt!!What ami going to do??I've a meeting Tommorow and here i am.I don't even have the whole reference documents.That was the very reason i came to your office.To pick up those files."I said pacing around.
"Calm down!!You talk like you're some intern. Did you sleep that much that you even forgot you are the CEO of the company?"He asked while laughing.
"Still, I am not like you.You hardly even do anything.Honey does all the hardwork,right?You just sit there and order her around. I don't have that kind of power like you.You control the whole company with just a nod." I said.
"Don't talk like you don't do that.You just don't show.At least I only have one company what about you??He said.
"Wow!!Really??Just one company??Someone who has a whole damn empire all over the world sitting infront of me and saying he just have a company. When did you get all humble,Keifer??"I asked.
"Really??Are you guys bragging right now?? I think I should leave since I don't own a company or even a puppy"It was Anna standing at the door to the balcony.
Seriously??Why did she have to bring up a puppy now?I thought we sorted out this Puppy-talk.
"Come on!!It'll all be yours anyway."I said jokingly.It's not like she's interested anyway.
"Well.. Don't bother.I'm not even going to pass by your buisness field.It's so boring.And carry on with your flirting-I mean talking.I'm going to sleep."She said and left.Just like that.
Does she always think she has the upperhand?So annoying!!Just like Keifer.
"Why are you glaring at me??" He asked in the middle of laughing.
"She is just like you!"I said.
"Well..I am her Dad, though."He said before standing up."Wait a moment.I have something for you."
He came back with a familiar file holder.
"Here. your beloved documents."He said giving that to me.
"When did you bring this??How did you even know??" I asked holding the documents I've been searching for.
"I saw it when I entered my office and kept it in the car to bring it to you in case it was something important. I guess it is."He said.
"You are the best!!"I said kissing his cheeks."I don't know what I will do without you."I said.
"Well..I don't think you've shown enough gratitude."He said stepping closer to me.
"Maybe later,Watson. I will have to pull an allnighter and I'm afraid i don't have time for you."I said showing puppy eyes.
"Is that so??Fine..."Aww!!He's so cute when he sulks .
"Then..Can i accompany you??I promise i won't do anything.Maybe I can help with your work."He said.
"Sure!If you want to!"I said.
Why is he so excited about working all night??Is he crazy??
