My sister asked me to go back, but I ignored her. I was more interested and curious about the current situation.
Why are they sitting on the ground? Could it be fear of these two creatures?
I observed the two enormous beings in front.
Ah, the white one looks exactly like Fel, while the one in front of it... a lion? But it's huge.
I heard a heavy breath behind me and spun my head around.
Oh my god, are they kneeling?
All the monsters that were chasing us were kneeling, even the earth dragon and the humanoid creatures were bowing down.
Could they be bowing down...
I turned my head back to glance at the two colossal creatures facing each other. Strangely, I didn't feel afraid at all when all the monsters, even my friends, looked terrified.
"I told you to come back!"
My sister immediately embraced me and pulled me away, guiding me toward the carriage even though she herself seemed to be struggling to stand.
Bestie did the same; she carried Beta and the coachman? He walked on his own, though it seemed difficult, but he was still standing and stepping forward.
"Don't walk alone... stay here."
Upon reaching the carriage, they all sat leaning against the side of it.
"Bestie, your sister is right, don't try anything weird, okay?"
I nodded.
So now we were just sitting by the side of the carriage, watching two gigantic creatures facing each other.
"Honestly, that lion is more terrifying than my sister."
All of our gazes simultaneously turned to the source of the voice; Bestie. Even Beta, who had just regained consciousness, was startled to hear her.
"Huh... what is it? Why are you all looking at me?"
So the lion is more frightening than Alpha Annihilation, huh? Wow, they're moving.
The big wolf and the lion stared at each other, walking in circles; intimidating one another.
"Get it, Fel! Don't lose. If you lose... no grilled fish for you."
Fel? Where is it?
"Oh right, you haven't seen Fel's transformation, Bestie? That big wolf is Fel.It grew huge."
What...it grew large? Could Beta's hypothesis be true, that Fel is one of the entities recorded in the book?
I shook my sister's shoulder, asking her to speak up.
"Yes, that's right, my dear. That's your little dog."
But Fel only has one tail, while it has nine.
"Grrr...!!!"
The nine-tailed wolf; Fel growled.
Calling it a dog, I guess, is inaccurate, because if look closely its form has changed drastically. Now it might be more appropriately called a wolf.
"Roar...!!!"
The giant lion roared back.
The impact sent trees flying, and some monsters even ran away terrified.
"Now what? What should we do now? They seem about to start fighting."
This is confusing, Bestie asked 'now what,' but I don't know what to do. I can't carry them all myself.
Beta fainted again after hearing the roar. Bestie, my sister, and the coachman couldn't stand.
Only I could still move, albeit with the help of a stick.
"Don't go anywhere, just wait here. Just hope your little wolf doesn't lose."
My sister spoke, weakly, but she tried to get up.
"What's wrong with you, wild creature? Is that all you've got?"
"Of course, this is nothing. I can still stand."
"Hohoho... this is still nothing for young blood like us. It's too soon to collapse."
"No, old man, you're old enough for this."
I pulled Bestie's ear.
"S-sorry..."
My sister, Bestie, and the coachman got up. They were strong enough to stand on their own, while Beta was still unconscious.
"Hey look, They're going to fight."
We all glanced simultaneously as Fel and the giant lion radiated their auras at each other.
"Hold onto the carriage."
"Woosh... Boom..."
A shockwave spread as the white and red auras collided.
It was very dangerous. If my sister hadn't warned us to hold onto the carriage, we all might have been thrown off.
After that, the fight between the two giant creatures began; the lion attacked with its claws, Fel parried using one of its tails.
They clawed and mauled each other, occasionally trying to bite and clash heads.
It was like a cat and dog fight.
"Don't let go of my hand, keep hugging me."
Although it looked like a cat and dog fight, the impact was severely destructive; small earthquakes occurred from their footsteps. My sister asked me to keep hugging her so I wouldn't fall.
I looked behind; not a single monster raised its head. They all bowed down simultaneously, even the coachman's horses, the black and white ones, bowed their heads.
Fel and the lion rolled away, grappling and creating a new path; toppling trees in their way.
"This isn't good, is it? Look, they're evenly matched."
"You are right, Miss wild creature, they are evenly matched."
"Bestie, I think this old man is quite annoying. Is he always like this?"
My sister held back a laugh when the coachman used the term she usually used to refer to Bestie.
I pinched her cheek, and yes, she was right, they seemed evenly matched. This wouldn't end.
The immense size of both creatures allowed all of us to watch their fight, even though the distance was quite far into the middle of the forest; they moved by rolling and grappling there.
Fel leaped high into the air then swooped down and smashed the lion's face. The giant lion countered with a charge and sent Fel flying.
There were no signs of weakening or injury. Truly, this wouldn't finish if they kept doing things like that, without any damage or effect at all.
And all we could do was watch, occasionally having to hold onto the carriage when the ground shook.
"I think my sister will arrive soon."
"Boom...!!!"
Suddenly, a loud sound was heard, followed by a very strong tremor.
"Well, right. She'shere."
Bestie hid inside the carriage as a figure in red and black clothing walked closer, leaving a large hole in the ground.
"Are you all alright?"
Alpha Annihilation appeared.
"Of course Miss Annihilation, we are fine. Just a little delayed by something unexpected."
coachman immediately greeted her; he bowed respectfully, while my sister turned her face away, reluctant to say hello.
"Now, where is my stupid little sister hiding?"
"She's inside the carriage."
My sister pointed into the carriage.
"You witch, just you wait."
"Ah, there you are hiding."
Bestie immediately ran out; into the forest, breaking through the trees and leaving a new path behind her.
"Hey, where are you going? Why are you running from your loving sister?"
Then Alpha Annihilation chased her.
With the addition of Bestie and Alpha Annihilation's chase, the condition of the forest became very chaotic. Trees were flying due to the fight between Fel and the giant lion, Bestie and Alpha Annihilation's chase.
On the other side, I saw the monsters stunned; they gaped like little babies.
"Let's get out of here, it's dangerous to stay."
My sister pulled me inside.
"Coachman... let's go."
"Yes, Miss."
The coachman lifted Beta inside, then spurred the horses; they walked away following the road, leaving the location where the monsters were stunned.
