I ran a hand through my hair and took a few glances around the room, making sure I wasn't being watched in some way. These types of situations always made me feel a bit weird.
"Yeah. I think it would be best for us to be allies. Let's work together Rebecca, I'm Zero." I said before introducing myself.
She extended her hand out to shake mine so of course I shook hers. Afterwards she leaned back in her chair as she let out a few puffs from her cigarette.
"It'll be nice to have someone who operates from within such a shit sector. You also don't seem to be dumb which makes a huge difference." Rebecca replied with a bit of relief in her voice.
"Dumb people don't make it far, that's why I like to think about my decisions." I said without hesitation.
There was no need to think about this since it was the smartest decision. Working with another gang would make things a bit more efficient in the long run anyway.
