Naruto was shocked and quickly retreated.
With the blessing of Nine-Tails' chakra, Naruto's body had been strengthened multiple times.
His speed was nearly as fast as the Body Flicker Technique.
In less than two seconds, Naruto had retreated ten meters.
Anko Mitarashi was not so lucky.
She jumped onto a branch to evade attack but was immediately ambushed from behind by two Root ninjas.

A kunai collided with a ninja sword.

The Root ninja's sword shattered.
Normally, Root swords were of superior quality compared to a kunai, but Naruto's kunai was infused with Nine-Tails' chakra.
After shattering the sword, Naruto plunged the kunai into the ninja's chest.
His combat experience, gained through the system, came into play.
He locked eyes on the chasing Root ninja, bent down, and touched the wounded one's chest before quickly retreating.
When the pursuing Roots reached his position, they were swallowed by a sudden explosion.
Naruto had activated all the detonating tags stored in the defeated Root ninja's pouch.
Though detonating tags weren't very effective in the original novel—because they usually faced Kage-level or Six Paths-level opponents—they were still powerful.
The first three or five Root ninjas who advanced were caught off guard.
Their bodies were blasted, injured, and immobilized.
Without medical assistance, they would likely have died.
Naruto wasn't idle during this.
He retrieved a ninja sword from a semi-conscious enemy.
With five Adamantine Sealing Chains creating distance, only six ninjas remained in pursuit.
Naruto charged at them, sword in hand.
The six well-trained Roots didn't hesitate and engaged him in close combat.
But…
One of them slashed at Naruto with a sword.
It struck his forehead, yet no blood flowed; instead, the body seemed hollow.
"Is this a Clone Technique?!" the ninja exclaimed.
A scream echoed from a distance.
Naruto had used a Clone Technique to delay the six pursuers while his real body eliminated the Roots handling the chains.
Elsewhere, Anko successfully defeated the two Root ninjas, but she was injured, blood flowing from one arm.
She reunited with Naruto and warned the remaining six Roots:
"Give up. Uzumaki Naruto is stronger than you think, and the Nine-Tails is aiding him.
If the Hokage arrives, your identities will be exposed if captured alive.
You don't want your boss to get caught, do you?"
Her words caused the Root ninjas to hesitate.
They hadn't expected Naruto to be so strong—not only physically, but also supported by the Nine-Tails and possessing extensive combat experience.
These experienced assassins, constantly carrying out Danzo's orders, were stunned.
Even if all six attacked Naruto and Anko now, the outcome would be unfavorable.
Even if they killed Anko or subdued Naruto, the sealing team members would also be lost, meaning the mission would fail.
The Root ninjas exchanged looks and retreated.
The battle had started and ended in under two minutes.
After the fight, Anko collapsed on the ground, pain etched across her face.

"Oh…" Naruto grabbed her bag and found the supplies inside.
Anko stirred river water to clean her wound slightly.
"Is this it?" Naruto asked, holding a small bottle.
Anko nodded.
Naruto opened it, poured the powder into his palm, and applied it to the wound.
Anko's complexion shifted slightly as she hummed softly.
Naruto then bandaged her arm.
"You're so calm," Anko said, impressed. "As expected of a descendant of your clan."
Naruto fought with the poise and sophistication of a true shinobi, far beyond a typical ninja trainee.
Seeing Anko's condition improve, Naruto said, "Return to camp and rest. Thank you for helping this time."
Even without Anko, Naruto could have managed, but he appreciated the assistance.
Anko laughed: "You're very polite, little guy~"
She pinched his cheek with her uninjured hand, causing Naruto to feel a strange sensation.
The two returned to camp and saw Haruno Sakura trembling in fear inside the tent.
Apparently, she had also heard the ninjutsu explosions and was terrified.
