Chapter 13 - Chapter – Clash with Deathstroke

Itachi's crimson eyes glowed faintly in the darkness as he scanned the alleys of Gotham. Suddenly, a faint glint caught his sight — a sniper's barrel reflecting a distant streetlight. In an instant, he backflipped away, narrowly avoiding the bullet.

Enhanced vision… Mangekyō Sharingan, he thought, his pupils sharpening with precision. The shooter wasn't ordinary. He quickly identified him: Slade Wilson — Deathstroke. Enhanced strength, reflexes, and lethal intent. No doubt a bounty from the mafia… they want their money back.

Without hesitation, Itachi dispersed into a flurry of crows, reappearing silently behind Slade. The fight began instantly.

Their taijutsu clashed — blow for blow, strike for strike. Slade's physical enhancements made him a match in sheer strength, but Itachi's speed, precision, and Mangekyō foresight kept him one step ahead. He backflipped out of range, igniting a burst of fire style chakra in his wake.

Slade tried to anticipate his attacks, but Itachi's illusions struck — only to be cracked almost instantly by Slade's enhancements. Yet, even through the brief visual deception, Itachi's blade slashed across Slade's waist, leaving a shallow but painful wound.

Electricity crackled along his arm as Itachi channeled his new Lightning Blade, striking forward — Slade's grip caught his wrist, and a powerful kick sent Itachi flying backward. Reacting quickly, Itachi froze several kunai with wind chakra, launching them in precise arcs to strike Slade.

Slade moved with battlefield awareness, barely evading the spinning, slicing projectiles. Itachi then unleashed his Phoenix Fire Jutsu, multiple fireballs erupting toward Slade, forcing him to constantly move and adapt.

The fight escalated. Itachi used Body Flicker Technique, closing the distance instantly to stab with his sword, kicking off walls to maintain momentum. Fireballs erupted behind him, forcing Slade to dodge. He bounced kunai off walls and debris, creating unpredictable trajectories — but Slade's experience and enhancements allowed him to dodge most.

Slade charged forward, firing his assault rifle with expert precision. Bullets sliced through the air, only for Itachi to meet them with razor-sharp sword strikes, cutting each projectile mid-flight. A sudden Body Flicker allowed Itachi to kick and punch Slade in rapid succession, sending him reeling.

Itachi then channeled Wind Style Swordsmanship, slicing through Slade's weapon and forcing him to retreat with a knife. Slade attempted a modified shotgun, firing an explosive round — Itachi created a water barrier, but the impact slammed him into a wall, knocking him back and leaving him coughing blood.

Pain flared, but Itachi's focus never wavered. Swift hand seals brought forth Lightning Blade, cutting across Slade's chest with precision and force. Slade, battered and bleeding, triggered a smoke bomb and vanished into the shadows.

Itachi stood, breath even, crimson eyes glowing faintly. The system chimed in his mind:

[Advanced Human Defeated — System Points Earned: 200]

He wiped his blade clean, analyzing the battlefield. Slade Wilson was a worthy opponent — tactical, strong, and adaptive — but Itachi's combination of speed, illusions, elemental attacks, and perfected swordsmanship had decisively forced him to retreat.

Every fight teaches me more… every enemy, every move, every escape, Itachi thought, gazing over Gotham. And the system… it only makes me stronger.

Crows erupted from his cloak, carrying him silently into the night. Another victory, another 200 system points in the bank. And somewhere in the shadows, Gotham's predators would whisper about the crimson-eyed child who could not be touched.
