In the floatation people was given their names and occupation according to time and date of their birth. It was like if they considers January as good month for hunting then all the newborns will be named hunter during January. Time of birth is also considered while naming as well and if a child is born during dask or dawn then people present at the time of birth can change the name and occupation. They dont have ways to measure perfect modern time but people being born around 9 am is considered as their strongest and smartest. They gets the names and occupation that the ancient society needs most. People born around 3 pm is considerer to be the time when people with the potential to start newer things will be born. Its weird that they often gets the name worrior and war was a very rare scene in the floatation. People born around 6 pm was thought to be the best that can keep the peace of the floatation undisturbed. They were usually given the professions of one of the three tribes fishers, corps harvesters or catle farmers...
In the floatation calender there was 365 days a year and leap years. But the difference was they had a 32th December in their calender. That comes once is every four year...
Their elder says if the 32th December goes well then everything goes well. Everything ending well is something good to be happening and 32th December of the leap year is said to be how it ends amongst the elders in the floatation.
If a child is born arround 9am of 32th December then they are called the oracles and their duties are to predict the future... One of the oracles who was born during the solar eclipse as well, was named the island floatation long ago.
