After some preparations, the group boarded the fighter jet and sped towards Barry Allen's location.
On the fighter jet, Batman took out two Kryptonite weapons and handed them to Diana.
As for why he didn't give them to Lin Feng, Bruce knew that Lin Feng was also a Kryptonian, and Kryptonite would affect him too!
"These are a pair of Kryptonite handcuffs and a dagger," Bruce explained.
"Lin Feng's mission is to temporarily suppress Clark."
"Diana, you can put the Kryptonite handcuffs on Clark when you get a chance. This way, you can control him without threatening his life."
Diana nodded and took them.
Both items were placed inside a lead box to prevent them from affecting Lin Feng.
"As for the dagger, you hold onto it for now. Use it if you have a chance, otherwise, we'll see," Bruce added. "I also have a few Kryptonite bullets prepared, they're in Victor's weapon system as a backup plan."
"There's not much time, and not many Kryptonite bullets were made. Try not to use them if possible, as Kryptonite bullets can cause too much harm to Clark."
Lin Feng, full of curiosity, walked over and asked, "Can I see the Kryptonite weapons?"
He was very curious about Kryptonite and wanted to see if it would really affect him.
Hearing Lin Feng say this, Diana was startled: "Lin! Does your world not have Kryptonite? This thing will make you lose your combat power!"
Bruce asked doubtfully, "Lin, you've never seen Kryptonite?"
Lin Feng nodded and explained, "I come from another universe. There's no Kryptonite there. I want to see if it will affect me."
Hearing Lin Feng say this, Bruce gave Lin Feng a deep look, hesitated for a moment, then said to Diana, "Diana, let Lin Feng see it."
"Let Lin Feng understand the power of Kryptonite so he can better deal with Clark."
Diana also nodded at this. She handed over the lead box and said, "Lin Feng, you need to be careful. Getting close to Kryptonite might make you feel uncomfortable."
"If anything goes wrong, I'll close the lead box immediately!"
With that, Diana slowly opened the lead box.
Lin Feng curiously leaned his head over.
Inside the lead box were a dagger and a pair of handcuffs.
The dagger, apart from the hilt, was entirely made of Kryptonite, while a portion of the handcuffs was made of metal, presumably to increase their durability.
The moment he got close to the Kryptonite weapons, Lin Feng frowned.
He felt his blood flowing faster, and at the same time, a slight feeling of fatigue spread throughout his body.
However, he found that he didn't seem to have lost his combat power.
It's worth noting that in the original story, Clark, when near Kryptonite, would usually be on his knees, as Kryptonite had a very strong effect on him.
After a brief thought, Lin Feng picked up one of the Kryptonite handcuffs in the astonished gaze of the others.
He wanted to see if touching Kryptonite would harm him.
The moment he touched the Kryptonite, the feeling of fatigue became clearer. Lin Feng felt his blood flowing rapidly, and he felt weak all over, accompanied by a very subtle feeling of palpitations.
But the imagined loss of combat power still didn't happen.
Lin Feng's eyes lit up as he carefully felt his body.
It wasn't that there was no effect at all; his combat power was probably weakened by three to four tenths.
Other than that, there was no other discomfort.
This meant that Kryptonite's effect on Lin Feng was completely less intense than its effect on Clark.
A wave of joy surged in Lin Feng's heart; the system's claim of optimizing the Superman bloodline was indeed not an exaggeration.
He put the handcuffs back into the lead box, and the feeling of palpitations immediately disappeared, and Lin Feng returned to his normal state.
He exhaled and looked at the stunned group, saying, "It's not as serious as I imagined!"
"It can only weaken a part of my combat power and make me feel a little uncomfortable."
"Other than that, there's no other sensation."
Bruce exclaimed, "Aren't you a Kryptonian? Has the effect of Kryptonite weakened?"
Thinking it was very possible, Bruce's face darkened.
If the effect of Kryptonite had indeed weakened, it would not be good news for everyone, as it meant that Superman would be completely beyond his control.
Diana, however, spoke thoughtfully, "That shouldn't be the case. Kryptonite has very little effect on Lin Feng, possibly because Lin Feng is not from our universe..."
Bruce was puzzled: "I was just about to ask, what did Lin Feng mean by not being from our universe?"
Diana then repeated Lin Feng's previous words.
After listening, Bruce raised an eyebrow and breathed a slight sigh of relief: "So there's another reason for that."
Lin Feng nodded and said, "That's right, Kryptonite shouldn't be the problem. The main reason should be my personal uniqueness."
"You can think of me as an outsider, a passerby. After this incident is resolved, I will leave!" Lin Feng said this mainly to put Batman at ease.
If he, a Kryptonian immune to Kryptonite, stayed on Earth, Batman would probably lose sleep day and night.
Clark was a precedent; if it weren't for Kryptonite, who knows if Batman would have allowed Superman to develop unchecked.
This incident further proved Batman's speculation: how terrifying an out-of-control Superman could be! Just look at the corrupted Clark. Oh, my God.
Lin Feng was in a good mood, having learned that he was not afraid of Kryptonite.
The others also had varying moods.
Bruce was deep in thought, his face grim.
Diana was worried about the upcoming battle.
Aquaman, on the other hand, was nonchalantly fiddling with his trident.
Kryptonite or not, he didn't know. Once this battle was over, he would return to the sea to make babies with Mera. He didn't want to deal with or know about land matters.
Mera was still the best!
Suddenly, as everyone's thoughts drifted, an urgent beeping sound echoed inside the fighter jet.
The group looked in the direction of the sound; it was the control panel.
"Incoming message!" Victor rushed to the control panel and pressed a button.
The beeping stopped, and then the voice of the Flash, Barry Allen, came through.
Bruce also stepped forward and pressed the speaker function.
"Barry, is that you?!"
"Oh, thank goodness, it finally connected!" Barry Allen's voice, full of exhaustion and a hint of surprise, came from the other end of the communicator.
"It's me, it's me, guys!"
"I might not make it; I can't hold onto the Mother Box!" Barry Allen's voice was tearful, accompanied by heavy gasps.
"He found me, Superman found me, I'm almost out of energy!"
Barry Allen didn't know what was the point of running anymore. Superman would soon catch up to him, exhausted, and Batman and the others were still on the other side of the Earth. He felt that he could no longer protect this Mother Box.
Hearing Barry's current predicament, everyone's faces became solemn.
Bruce said in a deep voice, "Calm down, Barry!"
"We are on our way to your location! You have to hold on, Barry!"
"If we lose the Mother Box, Earth will be destroyed!"
"Barry, believe in yourself, just hold on a little longer!"
"Oh! Thank heavens, you're actually coming! How much longer until you arrive!" Hope reappeared in Barry Allen's eyes. He felt he could run again. Bruce's words were like a shot of adrenaline, reigniting Barry's spirit.
Bruce, however, looked at the data displayed on the instrument and fell silent.
Estimated arrival time — 51 minutes and 37 seconds.
