"I'm asking you one last time, are you in contact with any of them?" my father shouted again.
This conversation had happened before, and suddenly he was asking me the same question today. I almost yelled at him.
"I'm not. How many times do I have to tell you?" I snapped, then bit my tongue.
I had heard Iris was coming over to spend time with her father along with her children. The last few days had been odd.
Ever since Kash returned, I found out that not only had Iris transitioned, but they had not even involved me. I also discovered that Kash had been ready to reject Lara and only changed his mind after learning she was pregnant.
I wondered what was next. Was he going to keep her with him?
Would Iris allow it? There was too much happening inside me.
And then there was this burning desire to be with Iris. I would slip into the woods early to transition and hide from everyone, because if anybody saw me shifting into a lycan, my head would be on a platter.
