Iris:
There was a clear look of shock on my mother's face. Even I could not fully understand what had just happened. This was the first time my father had raised his voice at her, and she seemed to realize it. His actions were forceful, openly aggressive.
"What are you talking about?" my mother complained, before her eyes landed on me. "Oh, I understand. You are talking about that bluff I made with her?"
She started to laugh.
"Of course I was not going to spread those videos. She is my daughter. She is a princess. I would never do that to her legacy."
My mother began to twitch. She was clearly unsettled.
My father shook his head at her.
"The fact that you terrorized a princess," he said, "that you made warriors stand there and record her. Did you not understand what impact that would have on her life? People will think it is acceptable to walk all over her, because her own mother did it."
