It was a beautiful night with stars in the sky, in a village situated on a mountain, a man was running towards a house which looked like a decent family lived in it.
The man entered the house through the door in a rush and said "Is.. Is everything alright?!".
There was a woman standing in front of him, she started at the man and said "for now it is".
The woman was around 40 years of age and there was a look of worry in her eyes.
After a moment of time, another woman came through the door and said "Congratulations! The mistress has given birth to a boy!!".
After hearing those words, the worry in the middle aged woman's eyes were gone and the man became very excited.
He rushed inside the room and saw a woman laying on the bed with a child beside her. The man asked the woman "are you okay?", the woman replied "yes, see, this is our child, our very own boy! what should we name him?".
The man thought for sometime and said "From now on, he will be called Han Yu Shinfeng! The son of Lin Yu Shinfeng and Shu Yu Shinfeng!!".
The woman laughed "hahaha, doesn't it sound like a very manly name?", the man replied "Right, after all I want him to become the man who will bring out Shinfeng clan to the heights it once was and become the pillar of Shinfeng clan by re-establishing the foundation of the clan."
15 Years Later
It was a bright day with clear sky, in a wide room many youngsters around the age of 15 were sitting on the ground cross legged with a table in front of them.
There was a middle aged man with beard and in white robe standing in the front.
A boy said "Headmaster, tomorrow is the awakening ceremony of the clan, is there anything we are supposed to do in the ceremony to improve our aptitude."
The Headmaster looked towards the boy and said "I think all the youngsters present here would know about siemen energy but since tomorrow is the ceremony I will explain it once again.
In this world that you and I live in is filled with a form of energy known as siemen energy. Every living being contain some of it inside themselves as well.
But even though every living being contain this energy, human beings contain much more energy than other beings and the people with exceptional amount of energy are able to influence siemen energy in environment to perform supernatural phenomenon.
In the ceremony tomorrow clan's talents are chosen based on the amount of siemen energy they possess, the aptitude of a person's siemen energy is divided into 4 levels, A,B,C and D.
People with aptitude become rarer as you go from D to A anyone below D aptitude is not able to use siemen energy at all and the people who are able to use siemen energy are called siemen masters.
However the aptitude may be, a siemen master holds much more authority than a normal person in our clan. That's it for the amount but we have yet to talk about quality of this energy."
The Headmaster continued "There is no known limit to how much you can advance your siemen energy but in the known history people at most reached rank 11 as we know it. So there are 11 known ranks."
"With each increasing rank your siemen energy's influence on natural siemen energy becomes stronger and at rank 11 it becomes so strong that one is basically like a god in front of lower ranked siemen masters."
"The last person to reach rank 11 died 3000 years ago. Since then no one was able to reach that rank. In our clan, our clan leader has the highest rank, rank 6."
The Headmaster continued with a sigh "The highest rank in the history of clan is rank 8, the rank of our first ancestor. Tomorrow we hope we will see a great talent rising from our clan which could make the clan stronger than before."
In the room there was a decent looking boy in black robe with black hair, fair skin colour and eyes as dark as abyss. He was thinking about his conversation with his parents last night.
Last Night
"Han the day after tomorrow is the day of grand ceremony, In this ceremony talents like you would be chosen and trained by the clan to become siemen master. We know you will have at least B aptitude as you are our son after all."
"yu family has history of producing good talents to raise as siemen masters though we haven't been able to produce an A aptitude talent for a long time this time will be different. Son, you are the hope of you family, everything will rest on your shoulders after the ceremony." Lin Yu Shinfeng said to his son Han Yu Shinfeng and patted his head with pride.
Current Time
"Han Yu Shinfeng, the genius, huh what a burden to have future of the family rest on your shoulders." Han thought "but it sure has it's merits, as long as I fulfill my responsibility I will be free to do whatever I want, what a good life would that be".
"I was born in a family who had a history of producing many clan leaders but for a long time they haven't been able to produce A aptitude talents and hence this family is not as powerful now as it used to be, I have good chance of becoming the next clan leader, after all I am of great talent, my peers call me genius and people behave with me in a very friendly manner as I have the potential to be next clan leader.
Once I become a clan leader I will be free to do whatever I want and no one will be able to stop me, hahaha" Han laughed happily in his mind.
The day of grand ceremony
It was evening, the sky was about to turn dark one could see stark twinkling in the sky.
The ceremony was about to begin, people were gathered around a lake.The lake's water was as clear as glass there were many lotus like flowers of white colour floating on the lake.
"Everyone please gather around the lake, the ceremony is about to begin!" Many guards were moving people around the lake. There was a person in front of everyone, the clan leader, he was a old man around 50 years old with grey hair and beard with narrow eyes in a brown robe.
He said "As everyone here knows, this ceremony is to choose talents to raise as siemen masters and the aptitude of a talent will be decided depending on the light these flowers on the lake give" He paused and said "We shall now begin the ceremony!"
The clan leader took out a sheet of paper and began called out name of a boy. The boy came forward, he had a look of nervousness on his face and with some hesitation he stepped onto the lake. It seemed like the lake was deep but once the boy stepped on it, he could stand straight without any problem. After sometime
The flowers on the lake begin to glow in a orange colour. The clan leader saw this and said "You have C aptitude, boy." On hearing this the boy was happy and he excitedly hugged a woman beside him who seemed to be his mother.
Like this many people came and the flowers glowed in red, orange and yellow depending upon the aptitude. When the flowers did not show any sign of glowing that meant the person had aptitude lower than D which meant they can't be siemen masters.
After sometime the headmaster called out "Han Yu Shinfeng", on hearing his name Han Yu came forward and stepped on the lake. "Hmph, I don't think I even need to take part in this ceremony and all, I must have A aptitude with my talent there's no doubt about it." Han Yu was very confident.
But this confidence did not last long.
After sometime the flowers glowed in a very fascinating colour... red colour.
