"Please go ahead," I told her. She then took out her phone and texted him.
To be honest I didn't know what I was going to say to Mike when I saw him. I was just concerned for him and wanted to see what I could find out.
"And who might you be you be?" She greeted my son with the widest grin.
"I'm Tony," he introduced himself with a shy smile. After a moment her phone pinged a notification sound.
She checked her phone and said; "he's coming."
I felt a little nervous he must be shocked to hear that I am here. But it's fine.
"I didn't know Mike had friends he's never introduced them to me," Victoria then said.
So even Megan hadn't met her? I asked myself.
I gave her a small smile."We're co-workers I wouldn't say that we're close friends," I told her.
"I mean you must be if you're coming here at the hospital to see him," she said.
I nervously laughed. Little did Victoria know I'd bribed my way in here.
