The powers that Jugo gained can be summarized in 3 parts.
First, the transformation into a zombie.
Stronger than the Werewolf transformation and unfortunately cannot be used in conjunction with it.
His form becomes more zombie-like when he transforms, his strength, speed, regeneration and defense are greatly enhanced in this form, especially his defense. To be blunt, it's an enhanced version of the Werewolf transformation, so it doesn't make much sense to transform into a Werewolf from now on.
Besides defense, the best improvement of this form is that, except for the brain, there are no more weak points.
Even if all his other internal organs were destroyed, it wouldn't kill him, his regeneration would restore them in a short time and he wouldn't even be affected during combat.
If a ninja were to receive an injury to the heart, lungs or any other organ, he would at least become much weaker and would probably die, but Jugo? He wouldn't weaken at all.
Even after leaving zombie form, his regeneration would remain the same, but if he doesn't regenerate his organs quickly enough, he will die.
Of course, it makes no difference to Jugo, the transformation consumes chakra to maintain and with his chakra regeneration, he can remain in zombie form indefinitely.
The second power, dominion over ice.
Unlike sequence 7 where he could only inflict ice damage through direct attacks, now he could actually use ice.
Now, a simple touch can turn the target into an ice statue, at the very least causing serious freezing damage to the area. It can even be used as a defense, it only needs to touch the water and create ice barriers.
He can also emit ultra-low temperatures directly around him, creating ice-covered areas with extremely low temperatures, which do not affect zombies, but can affect nearby targets. It's true that this leaves something to be desired in the Ninja world because Ninjas can use chakra to adhere to ice, but the ambient temperature around them is still a real danger, even for ninjas.
Overall, his ice control ability has been greatly improved.
The third power is directly linked to decadence.
It can emit an aura of decay, causing vegetation to wither and weakening nearby enemies.
It can emit decay around itself at a medium range, anything this decay touches withers. If someone is hit directly, there is a high probability of them becoming a withered corpse.
He can also coat parts of his body, such as his fists, with this decay, concentrating the effect and making his attacks even more dangerous.
It can create a thick, sticky, decaying liquid, even though the effect is less pronounced, it's still a real danger because it's very difficult to get rid of.
Aside from those three powers, separated into transformation, Ice and Decay, only the Zombie control explained previously remains.
The zombie curse is different from the werewolf curse, werewolves are only bloodthirsty, wanting to kill everything in sight, while zombies, on the other hand, crave to devour blood and human flesh.
He's not sure if it's cannibalistic behavior or purely the flesh and blood of humans. What happens if another type of animal arrives on sequence 6 of the Prisoner's path? Will it crave human flesh? Or the flesh of its own kind?
That's an interesting thought.
But Jugo didn't dwell on that, instead, he felt very good now.
Sequence 6 improved him far, far more than he expected. His strength now? Even he doesn't know how strong he is, but unlike when he fought Orochimaru for the first time, he felt that if he faced him again now, his chance of winning wouldn't be just a fraction.
Since he hadn't tested it, he had no idea how far he had come.
But now that Orochimaru is at his lowest point, with his soul torn apart and unable to use hand seals, Jugo is certain he can win. The problem is whether he can kill Orochimaru, knowing the man, he'll probably run away.
But now he had a new plan in mind. Orochimaru no longer had time to wait and probably wanted to reincarnate as soon as possible, meaning Sasuke Uchiha needed to be brought back and Jugo was thinking he should bring him back himself.
Jugo already knew that the Tenebrous World was the pinnacle of spiritual battles, he even wished that Orochimaru would try to reincarnate in his body, because at that moment, Orochimaru would be finished.
But Orochimaru wouldn't do that without managing to place a curse mark on him, which unfortunately he couldn't.
But he would do that to Sasuke, right?
What if Jugo turned Sasuke into a believer?
He just needed the boy to pray to him at the right moment, descend upon him and rip Orochimaru's soul out. Wouldn't that be simple?
Therefore, Jugo was now thinking about how to deceive Sasuke and in fact it was quite simple to do.
Current Sasuke only cares about one thing, power.
As long as he could give him power, Sasuke didn't care about anything else, making him pray for himself would be easy.
Once that happened, Sasuke would be poison coated in sugar.
But while Jugo was thinking about this, his intuition warned him.
He felt bad for a moment, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully.
He quickly entered the Tenebrous World and used the pendulum to ask some questions.
On a side note, he felt that his control over the place had increased a little more.
The questions, however, were worrying.
There would be consequences to making Sasuke a follower.
Jugo thought for a moment before concluding that this was connected to Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths.
It could only have been that old man.
Jugo didn't know if that old man still had any power to intervene in the world, but even if he did, corrupting the soul of the current Indra seemed like a bad idea, so he asked if he was connected to the old man. The pendulum swung rapidly clockwise, and the next moment, Jugo saw a pair of purple eyes staring directly at him.
It was only a moment, but he was sweating profusely.
Hagoromo was weak compared to the father of demons, but Jugo was still far from being able to truly stand up to him.
That look in his eyes, he felt as if his soul was being dragged out of his body.
Swallowing hard, he leaned back in the obsidian throne, his breathing slightly quickened.
Jugo finally sighed and decided to abandon the plan to use Sasuke, instead, he turned to another angle.
Orochimaru couldn't get Sasuke until the very last moment, instead using a backup.
All he remembers is that he was a young man with white hair.
If he can use this young man, that will do too, he's probably one of Orochimaru's fanatics, but he only needs to transform him into a werewolf and he'll obey him.
Jugo's plan then went into motion, return to the village of Som and find this guy as quickly as possible, transform him into a werewolf and make the guy pray to him at the right time.
Of course, even if it fails, what happens if Orochimaru enters the body of a werewolf? Will he become loyal to Jugo? He was curious about that.
In any case, he no longer wanted to wait in Orochimaru's shadow, living alongside him was like sleeping next to a venomous snake, you never know when it will bite you simply because it feels like it.
Shaking his head, Jugo slowly exited the cave. The moment Kin and Dosu saw Jugo, they paused for a moment, it was clear that something had changed, but they couldn't quite see what.
But when Jugo saw Kin, even though he still felt that inner desire, his expression didn't change in the slightest.
His face showed complete indifference.
He felt that even if Kin took him to a room right now and took off her clothes, he could look calmly and not be shaken in the slightest.
Each time his streak increased, his self-control grew, he felt that if he truly became a god in this way, he could watch everything he desired burn without blinking.
It's not a lack of empathy, it's simply control.
He would still feel pain, anger and hatred, but he wouldn't show it, his actions would be guided by rationality, while his mind would be free to act according to his will.
It sounds bad, but Jugo liked it, which means that even if someone tries to exploit his weaknesses, he will still be able to act calmly and rationally, without letting himself be carried away by emotion.
Kin and Dosu had smelled the scent of corpses for a long time, now they realized it was coming from Jugo.
They were confused, wondering how Jugo had managed to get a corpse there, but neither of them asked.
Jugo could also smell it, it was due to the progression of the sequence, he could cleanse that smell and it would only return when he used the Zombie transformation or his decay powers.
It's sad, but it's something he would have to live with by force.
Jugo left the pair and went for a bath in a nearby river, returning shortly after. They rested for a while longer before setting off again.
