Linus was sitting in front of a big fireplace in his room, he was sitting in a big chair made of pelts of bear skin. He sat in the chair watching the fire rage, the image of his family's gravestone stuck in his mind, memories of his father and mother replaying in his mind, his sisters laugh echoed, and his brother's silly pranks.
He sipped on his herb tea watching the fire for hours well into the night.
During his walk to see his family's graves he had gotten a ding from his mind thing that he still didn't know what it was. He decided to try make sense of what it was now that he was awake.

Linus not even getting shocked that she can read his mind just shrugged it of.
"I heard a ding sound before what was it?"

"Why did I get all these rewards, what did I do to earn them?"
[You became the head of the Gray family, you get rewards for completing challenges, tasks and other things like killing someone or something, there are many ways to earn them. You were lucky this time and got good stuff beginners' luck probably]

Alright a later issue the Linus thought, he shifted his attention this the new items, once he wanted one of the books it appeared from a rift and dropped into his hands.
{Gray family book of spells SS tier} he opened the book and found hundreds of pages of different spells he never heard of, some said Gray family secret magic art, and some said ancient magic spells. The book described what the spells did and how to use it and train it. He looked at the different spells and wanted to try one that said wandless spell, it was a simple spell that would form a ice sickle.
Linus held out his hand and thought the incantation in his head 'glacis' and a shark ice sickle was formed and hovered above his and, the book decided that the sickle would fly of in the direction you pointed.
Linus pointed at the wall and the ice sickle flew of with incredible speed and dug deep into the wall, the sickle then started to melt leaving a hole in the wall where the sickle had struck.
For most of the spells in the book he would need a wand and he did not have one right now, so he put away the book and looked at the fire in the fire place.
"So, I'm the head of the family now…" as Linus said that word it felt empty, he had no family left it was just him. He noticed he still had this card in is inventory space.
[you should use it] Yrsa said as Linus held the card.
"What will it do?"
[It's a summon card, it will summon a wizard or with randomly, the summoned will serve you loyalty of the summon is Absolute, they will even die for you happily]
Alright let's do it why not, Linus held the card and it started glowing and later disappeared into a glowing mist. And then there was nothing.
