My life as an organ donor was a nice one. The praise, the support of my family, the attention of other people telling me how wonderful and kind I was.
I was bored. Sure it was nice to be put on a pedestal, but I wanted adventure, to earn what was mine, and to be powerful yet beautiful.
Therefore I stuck my head into trashy reincarnation novels, and manga. I had never even wanted to be a organ donor in the first place anyways.
I had started donating organs when I was around 12, because I had felt bad about a dying patient with kidney problems and had donated mine to him. I had felt pity, that was it, but then he had went on to becoming a famous musician, and had called me onstage because he saw me in the crowed.
It was the most embarrassed moment I had ever had. When my parents and I were pure pressured into using me to make more organs, because "It's for the greater good". After that I was a living vessel.
When I hit 18, I finally put a stop to the nonsense, of using myself, and went to find a normal job at a restaurant named, "lentani mi" which I could not read even if I looked it up on google.
Life was good, I had bought a house , and got a cat until one day when I came back home from work, my front door was unlocked. I always lock my doors and windows even when I'm at home so I knew it was a burglar of some kind.
I slowly walked into my house like an idiot and grabbed the kitchen knife that had been sitting out on the counter. I walked into my room with it but soon heard rustling behind me. I jerked around but it was too late.
I saw a gun pointing straight at me so that I could look right down the barrel, I heard a click, and then I blacked out. One could only assume that I had been shot at point blank range by a guy that had come into my house uninvited.
As much as that had angered me, it didn't matter now. A girl like me can't do anything now. For a long while, I was just drifting through emptiness with a blob of a "body" until I suddenly felt myself getting slowly compressed.
I couldn't actually feel it though, it was more like being in something when compression happens. And then everything went pitch black, like the darkness swallowed me whole.
I suddenly began feeling very tired, and my eyelids or whatever they are, started closing and then I went to sleep. I somehow knew that it had been a very long time since I had gone to sleep.
Everything felt so different. I could feel myself floating yet not, as if I was in a sticky substance, and when I felt in front of myself, I could feel a hard surface that got smaller the farther my hands trailed up, and bigger and wider as my hands trailed down.
I also felt a lot more solid, not like my previous state of mass. After a while of exploring my surroundings I finally felt bored and along came the tiredness, and I fell back asleep.
I woke up to myself suffocating in the solid like liquid surrounding me, and I quickly began to panic. I started to bang my hands on the walls that surrounded me, until I heard a crack sound.
A sudden stream of light went in my eyes blinding me as some of the liquid spilled out of the crack allowing me to take my first breath. The air felt very cold and crisp as it pierced my nostrils causing me to jump at the suddenness.
I crept towards the crack that I had made, and peaked outside. I could see that I was in a dark cave that had some undergrowth on the walls, as well as a tiny hole in the ceiling that let me see the inside.
Over all it was as comfy looking as it could be with little moss beds strewn all about the place. Then without warning an eye peeked into my egg, and onto me. I saw golden eyes peeking at me.
I did a double take. No one has golden eyes in my world. The eye also had slit pupils that looked predatory but strangely did not seem intimidating, almost cute even, like a little baby exploring its environment for the first time.
Then it backed up and I could clearly see a red reptile with wings. 'WAIT WINGS!?' I did another double take, and saw that it was a baby dragon. It looked cute because it was a baby but I was sure that in the future it would be a very scary sight.
It walked away as I tried to make the hole bigger, successful in doing so, I tumbled out of the egg in one big movement, and froze.
Thankfully the cave wasn't bright so it was easier to look around, but what I saw made me freeze. I saw a huge white dragon, the size of a mountain staring down at me.
I also saw 4 male baby dragons a bit bigger than me attacking each other in a playful way as I could tell that they were not actually doing any damage to each other.
One was the red dragon with the golden eyes. It looked like the biggest out of the four and was an obvious fighter by the look of every outcome.
The next biggest was a black dragon resembling the night with little horns sprouting from its head, and had light blue eyes greatly contrasting his almost pitch back body, coupled with a very slim body.
He was agile but still not enough to beat his big brother to whom was still the strongest.
The next biggest was a brown dragon, who looked stubby and rounder than all of them. He had dark green baby horns on the top of his head.
His eyes were a deep shade of green, looking like the deep forest. He was very attack heavy and didn't have any strategy to any of his attacks at all causing to loose a lot of the match's that he fought in.
The smallest of them all (but still not smaller than me) was a light blue dragon that had black eyes. He was very small in stature so any of the fights he would join in, he failed. But he was the most coordinating one of them all making him a formidable foe in the future.
I looked down. I was expecting it, but seeing it was a whole different thing. I took a few steps back in the shock that I tumbled over the egg that had surrounded me throughout my making.
When I looked down I saw little tiny dragon paws that was pure white. My hands were almost dazzling even in the low light setting.
I looked at my back. My wings were bigger looking for my size, and were tucked tightly to my back. I tried spreading hem burning the process worked a bit.
When I spread them out I gasped. They were dazzling, shining with radiance and elegance. My neck was long enough to let me stare down my back allowing for better accesability, though everyone else had that too.
I looked at myself just in case, and sighed in relief to see that I was still a girl. I was petite in stature, and a bit clumsy. One would say that I was the most dazzling amungst us all.
